# Which endpoint management platforms have complex configurations or steep learning curves for new administrators?

I'd rather know before handing a junior tech the keys, and reviews are candid here. Oh honest question, and the answer tends to track with how enterprise-grade the tool is. The heavier, full-featured platforms are usually where new admins struggle most, IBM MaaS360 and enterprise UEM suites carry a lot of capability and configuration surface, so there's a real ramp, and reviewers of Fortinet's ecosystem (FortiClient) sometimes note the broader platform gets complex once you go past the basics. On the flip side, SMB-oriented RMM tools like Pulseway tend to be more approachable for a new admin. To be real, the tradeoff is almost always power versus simplicity, the tools that do the most take the most learning. So I'd weigh how deep your needs are against who's actually administering it. Is your admin team experienced, or are you optimizing for someone who can pick it up fast? That flips which end of the spectrum fits.
