I am a master’s student at National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences. Besides preparing for my thesis, every course I take comes with assignments, exams, small-scale research projects, and both individual and group reports for midterms and finals. GanttPRO has been a tremendous help in organizing my schedule by clearly showing what tasks need to be done and when. The interface is very intuitive and easy to use. My favorite feature is task dependencies—simply dragging from the end of one task to another makes planning seamless. I also appreciate the status and overdue functions, which alert me a few days in advance if I am running out of time, allowing me to quickly adjust my plan. I use Gantt Chart and Board views most frequently: the Gantt Chart gives me a clear overview of all tasks, while the Board helps me focus on immediate priorities. GanttPRO is perfect for anyone managing multiple tasks, and checking it has become the first thing I do every morning when I open my computer. Although I mainly use it as an individual student, I also explored the assigned tasks and reporting features, which are extremely useful for team project management. Overall, I would definitely give GanttPRO a full five-star rating for its functionality, user-friendly design, and ability to keep me on track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall, GanttPRO already fulfills my needs very well. If I have to point out one downside, it would be the cost, which can be quite heavy for students. The 50% student discount is very helpful, but if GanttPRO could partner with more universities and provide campus-wide access, it would make the tool even more accessible and beneficial for students like me. Hello! Thank you for your detailed review! It’s always rewarding to see how the tool supports in handling complex important projects. I’m especially glad you found value in task dependencies, alerts, and switching between the Gantt Chart and Board views to stay focused and organized.
I also appreciate your honest take on cost and partnership. Expanding campus-wide access is definitely a great idea. I’ll make sure to share it with our team!
All the best to you in your academic journey :)
