"Easy-to-Use Funnel with Seamless Integrations, KPI Insights, and First-Class Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Funnel?

Funnel helped us kick-start our business with an easy-to-use interface, seamless connections to a wide range of social media and marketing platforms, and powerful tools to harmonize and explore KPIs across our media inventory. On top of that, Funnel provides first-class support, handling every request with speed, care, and attention to detail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Funnel?

We had high expectations for the portal and dashboard features, but at their current stage of development, they did not fully accommodate our specific approach to managing campaigns and clients. We therefore decided to develop our own dashboard and campaign management interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Reliable, and Great for Reporting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Funnel?

The biggest advantage of Funnel for me is how easy it is to connect channels, work with the data using custom dimensions and metrics, and then export everything to Power BI. The interface feels intuitive, so getting started doesn’t take long, and the onboarding process is clear and straightforward.

I’m also very happy with the support. Whenever we’ve had questions or run into issues, the team has responded quickly and been genuinely helpful in finding a solution.

Another reason I like Funnel is the value for money. Compared to some other tools I’ve looked at, it offers a lot of functionality without being overly expensive.

Finally, the number of available connectors is a huge plus. We can pull data from many different marketing platforms and bring everything together in one place, which makes reporting and analysis much easier. A lot of other tools don’t offer direct connections with smaller parties in Europe, so that’s a big advantage as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Funnel?

I don’t have any major dislikes about Funnel. Overall, the platform has been reliable and easy to work with.

The only challenge we’ve run into from time to time is when updates made by publishers or advertising platforms weren’t reflected in Funnel correctly or right away. In a few cases, this caused temporary discrepancies and meant we had to do manual checks until the connector was updated. That said, these situations are often outside of Funnel’s direct control, since they’re driven by changes on the source platforms themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth, Team-Friendly Tool with Responsive Support and Granular Data Access"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Funnel?

What I find most helpful about Funnel is having one tool that both the marketing and data teams can use. The app feels smooth to work with, and the support team is very responsive. It also has enough features for the data team to access granular data, while still being usable for tech-savvy marketing team members who want to define dimensions and metrics and run deeper analysis in the Data Explorer. That said, we don’t use the dashboarding option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Funnel?

As the number of data sources keeps increasing, the price is also rising significantly, especially when you start diversifying the marketing mix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth, Intuitive platform for Seamless Multi-Source Ad Spend Tracking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Funnel?

What I value most about Funnel is the Data Explorer, which I use regularly.

UI/UX & Ease of Use: The interface feels smooth and intuitive. Setting up custom rules for dimensions, metrics, and filters is very quick and straightforward, saving me hours of manual data setup.

Integrations: Connecting different data sources is seamless. It lets me centralize everything and monitor cross-platform advertising costs in near real time.

Performance & Workflow Improvement: Having instant visibility into multi-channel spend has significantly improved my day-to-day reporting workflow and made my decision-making more efficient.

Pricing / ROI: The amount of time saved on data aggregation, along with the accuracy of budget tracking, makes Funnel well worth the investment.

Support & Features: The data-mapping capabilities and automated rules feel smart and dependable, helping ensure accurate data with minimal friction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Funnel?

Performance with large date ranges & granular data: When querying or loading data with granular details (such as campaign names, ad set level details, etc.) over an extended date range, performance can slow down and queries take longer to load.

Pricing: The platform can be a bit expensive. While it delivers strong value and saves a lot of time, the pricing model might be a bit steep for smaller teams or businesses with lower ad spend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christian Hagberg of Funnel

Thank you so much for leaving such a thorough review, and thank you for sharing your feedback on performance with large date ranges. This is an area we continue to invest in, and hopefully you'll see performance improvements over time. We'll also be sure to share this feedback with our product team!

"Easy Marketing Data Consolidation, but Setup Has a Learning Curve"
4/5
What do you like best about Funnel?

What I like most about Funnel so far is how it pulls data from different marketing channels into one place. I’ve mainly used it to bring in organic TikTok data, which is helpful because it feeds into a centralised reporting workflow instead of me having to manually collect the data from TikTok every time.

I also had a walkthrough of the platform with someone from Funnel, and that made it easier to understand how the different parts fit together. Based on what I’ve used so far, the interface feels straightforward. Overall, the biggest benefit for me is having marketing data organised in one place, which makes it easier to use that data for reporting and performance analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Funnel?

The main thing I’d improve is the onboarding experience for someone who is new to the platform. When you first come across Funnel, there are a lot of different possibilities for how the data can be collected, organised and used, so it can take some time to understand the best way to approach it.

The walkthrough I had with someone from Funnel was helpful, but I think having more step-by-step guidance within the platform would make it easier for new users to get started independently. For example, clearer guidance around setting up a first data source and understanding the available reporting options would make the initial experience more straightforward. "Efficient Campaign Data Control with a Clear UI and Faster Data Explorer"
4/5
What do you like best about Funnel?

It’s an efficient tool for aggregating, controlling, and optimizing our campaign data. The UI/UX is clear and user-friendly, and I really appreciate the performance improvements in the Data Explorer, which is very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Funnel?

Using Data Explorer was a bit painful at first because of some technical issues, but for the past few months it has been OK. A lot has changed over the last three years, and sometimes each update requires some adaptation. The current version is fine, but I can see there are still a lot of tests around AI tools—tools that I don’t find any interest in at the moment! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christian Hagberg of Funnel

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review, and for using Funnel over the past three years. We’re glad to hear that you’ve noticed the recent performance improvements in Data Explorer. We really appreciate you sharing your experience!

"Effortless Data Consolidation with Custom Exports and Responsive Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Funnel?

The ease with which I'm able to consolidate multiple different data sources into any combination of exports, all the while customizing the metrics and dimensions as needed. Additionally, based on my experience, I know that should I face any issue the support team always responds and can usually resolve the issue I'm facing; in the rare occasion they can't resolve it, I have been told where the issue appears to be and thus where I should reach out to for added support.

The largest part that stands out in Funnel is the ease of use. I have been using funnel for nigh on 4 years now, and even the older iteration made it a very clear software to use. The few times I haven't been able to find the appropriate funnel connectors, I have used the file import data connector and I have seen how it went from being a bit clunky to now functioning as an automated source (really appreciated that). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Funnel?

Unfortunately, due to having used funnel for almost 4 years, I have found the inclusion of AI and the budget tool to be largely neglected as all the pipelines that were initially built had no access and hence no need for them.

I do regret being unable to make use of these functions, however I did try to use the dashboarding tool when it first came out and I did not like it. It was not as intuitive as the rest of Funnel's UI/UX design. Furthermore, I did not see any way to directly pull one of my exports into the funnel dashboard (essentially creating a closed loop tool). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christian Hagberg of Funnel

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and detailed review, especially after nearly four years with Funnel!

If you’d like help getting started with Funnel AI or Budgets, please don’t hesitate to contact our team. We’d be happy to help with setup or training.

We’ve invested heavily in Funnel Dashboards since the initial release and continue to do so. If it’s been a while since you last tried them, we’d love for you to take another look, as a lot has been added and improved!

There are a few ways we could interpret your point about using an export in a dashboard. Please reach out to our team to discuss the use case so we can explore whether it’s something we can help you solve.

"Standout Connectors and Flexible Exports That Keep Reporting Moving"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Funnel?

The data source connectors available in Funnel really stand out. Being able to plug in platforms across different media channels without having to loop in the engineering team every time is a big deal it keeps reporting work moving and reduces dependency. Setup is straightforward, and whenever I have questions about the connectors, I can turn to the Funnel documentation. It’s especially helpful for understanding which connection level to use, and what dimensions and metrics are available.

The included workspace has been useful feature for me as it allowed me to connect data source from different workspace without the need to reconnect data source again and help us manage the flex points.

The data explorer has been a very helpful to get an undersetting of the data and even QAing the data with the destination.

The export flexibility is very useful, being able to push the data to Google sheet, data studio, Biq Query with I a few steps and the ability to schedule data refresh make thing easy and automated.

On the support side, I have reached out multiple times when I was facing issue related to data not matching and connectors issues and the funnel support team have been helpful and help me guiding in the right direction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Funnel?

The transformation capabilities within funnel itself are fairly limited. For example, anything beyond basic custom dimension and metrics, I end up having to handle the logic downstream in Biqquery or data studio. It would be useful to have more flexibility to shape and combine data before it reaches the destination.

Pricing can be a concern at scale. As the volume of data and number of connectors grows across multiple clients, the cost adds up and it becomes harder to justify for smaller accounts.

There are occasional connector issues where data stop flowing or numbers don't match the source platform, and while support has been helpful in resolving these, diagnosing the root cause can take time. More transparency into what's happening at the connector level, like detailed sync logs or error breakdown would help.

The UI, while functional, can feel a bit clunky when managing a large number of data sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christian Hagberg of Funnel

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, we deeply appreciate it! We continue to invest in Funnel’s data transformation capabilities. We also appreciate your specific suggestions around sync logs and error breakdowns, which we’ll share with our product team.

"Seamless Cross-Platform Insights with Strong Performance and Responsive Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Funnel?

The way it seamlessly connects across soo many platforms, the granularity level it takes the data into. The support team who is always very prompt and reachable and just a text away. The platform is very easy to navigate and understand. The pricing of the services is also being fairy priced. Overall performance of the tool is soo strong. I've also recommended this to my client and they have also brought and are using your enterprise level services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Funnel?

To be honest, I use this tool on a daily basis, and I’ve been using it for the last three years. I’ve never found anything to complain about. I’m subscribed to their newsletters, so whenever a new feature is released, I get to try it out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christian Hagberg of Funnel

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. It means a lot to hear that Funnel has been part of your day-to-day work for three years. We also really appreciate your kind words about our support team and will make sure your feedback reaches them!

"Powerful Reporting with Seamless Integrations and Outstanding Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Funnel?

Funnel has been a great tool for our reporting and data analysis needs. We use Funnel as a connector to pull all of our digital marketing data into Google Data Studio/Looker. It integrates with our ad platforms and other third-party tools, which lets us avoid relying on numerous costly third-party connectors.

We also use the MMM product, and it’s been a great tool for helping us analyze big-picture performance, understand real budget impact, and evaluate the impact of awareness platforms.

The Funnel team is amazing to work with as well. Customer support is quick, and both the strategy and tech teams are helpful and knowledgeable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Funnel?

The main challenge is connecting all the data sources. That said, it’s not really an issue with Funnel; it’s more that some of those platforms don’t have APIs or provide clean data. The Funnel team has been very helpful in guiding us through these challenges.

MMM QA is also an ongoing process. It takes a lot of time, but it’s unavoidable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christian Hagberg of Funnel

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We really appreciate your kind words about our teams, and we’ll make sure your feedback reaches them!
