This software offers excellent support across various platforms. It is stable, user-friendly, and the customer support is outstanding.

Funnel helps us round out our marketing and data analytics requirements. Easy import of data from multiple systems (Klaviyo, Magento, GMC, Meta Ads and Microsoft Ads) to Looker Studio

**What do you like best about Funnel?**

- Easy to use and onboard and maintain for those looking for low code/no code solutions
- Numerous connectors available for various platforms
- Flexible File Import tool for platforms not available natively
- Easy to export to tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Looker Studio
- Data exploration tool works well for quick, ad hoc analysis
- Customer support is responsive when running into data connections and cleanup issues
- Robust custom dimension and metrics tool to clean up data that is initially dirty

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

- Organization and pruning of data sources could be better. Requires a very disciplined self-imposed best practices to keep things organized and remove what connections are not being used.
- Depending on size of agency of company, it is very easy to use up all of your flexpoints.

**What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work for a large non-profit, where marketing/web analytics is a department of 1. Funnel allows me to wrangle, clean, and deploy PowerBI dashboards comprised of data from a variety of different platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, Social Media, Fundraising, etc.).

**What do you like best about Funnel?**

Funnel does the work of several people, we now couldn't run our business without it. 

It's easy to set-up, learn, use and over the last year has never had any downtime. 

It's functionality is laser focused on making the management of marketing data easy. Once set up it can automatically fix errors in naming conventions, merge data-sets and create streamlined data-shares to Looker/Excel/Sheets which automatically update all client and team reports each night. It's enabled us to create 24/7 reporting for clients. 

Custom data requests/reporting tasks which would have taken hours/days before, are now quick and easy 

As the platform doesn't require a degree in data-science (or even a maths GCSE), you don't need to be a technical whizz to instantly get value from it. When you don't get something the customer support via chat/email/help centre articles and guides answer your question. It's perhaps the best support I've had from any platform in 18 years. 

For us as an SME the pricing structure works well too :)

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

Hard to dislike.... The only feature missing for me is the ability to set up custom notifications related to clients metrics, however, I wouldn't want this to distract from the core platform though. Overall - it's a tool I will forever be indebted too!

Automates and streamlines the management of multiple marketing data sources without needing an army of people

**What do you like best about Funnel?**

It was generally easy to integrate with our other already existing software. I've only had to contact customer support for what turned out to be an error on our end and they were very quick to help solve my issue.

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

There is a decent learning curve to using Funnel. I wish it were more intuitive to just pick up.

**What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed software with better reporting and modeling capabilities than what we were using before. Funnel provided that and more, so overall once you get past the learning curve is a breeze to use.

Easy to use

I have no dislikes so far (three year user)

**What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Funnel we used dedicated api's to connect to all our marketing-tools (GA, FB, IG, Criteo, etc.).
These api-connectors had to be individually configured in our ETL-tooling, wich took some considerable development time.
Due to the dynamic nature of the implementation of these api's the configuration needed permanent maintenance.
We had to reconfigure and/or reconnect them several times a year. Which also took development time.

At this time we succesfully rely on Funnel to maintain the availability and completeness of all the connectors we are using.
This saves us developementbudget and gives us a higher availabilty of businessvaluable data for our end-users (marketeers, analysts, consultants).

Funnel is very user friendly and contains a pretty deep feature set for the price. The partner ecosystem is great and a great tool for users to leverage in the US and globally. Customer Support is great and they also have US partners available to help with customization and deployment projects.

Funnel may not be as well known in the U.S. as other options.

**What do you like best about Funnel?**

What I like most about Funnel is how customizable it is. Within their Data Explorer you can look at the data in any way please and any possible configuration. you can create custom metrics and dimensions and any type of filter imaginable. And if they don't have a data source connector for a platform you're looking for, they have the ability to create custom connecters to these sources. As our agency has grown, Funnel has grown their usability with us as well! 
Their customer support also responds within the same day and will work with you until you're questuions are answered and they are always SO helpful! 
I also love their direct integration to Looker Studio!

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

There is not much I dislike about the platform. 
Perhaps the one thing I like least would be having to wait for all of the data within a data source to completely upload at once. 
But no seriously, I use this platform everyday and my days would be a lot longer without Funnel.

**What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Funnel's biggest use case for our agency is data analyzation and reporting! 
Funnel benefits us because it allows us to store and track all of our data in one safe, convenient location. Instead of looking at Data across multiple platforms, we can see all of it together within Funnel and look at cam[aigns as a whole or broken down by any dimension we see fit!

**What do you like best about Funnel?**

Funnel.io is a great tool for multiple reasons! We use funnel.io to get the data from different platforms, define common dimentions and metrics, explore data, export to our data lake and build our daily reporting. 
- Easy to connect to data sources
- Common dimentions and metrics are already set up in funnel.io, but its very easy to creatre your own. All the transformations you might need are included.
- Interface is very intuitive even for less tech savy business users.
- You can check the data in the explorer, spot errors,  adapt the definitions and dimentions or metrics and directly see the changes reflected.
- Customer support is fantastic! They will answer quickly and will help you with whatever problem you have, send you to the right info page. Always very friendly.

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

- Not all connectors are possible (e.g. Zalando)  (but we find a workaround with file import)
- What we are missing today is the column that contains the timestamp of the last data refresh

**What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Funnel.io to get all the campaign performance data from different platforms and to define unfirom metrics and dimentions.

**What do you like best about Funnel?**

The ease of use and implementation is great when using Funnel. The interface is clearly designed with friendly UX in mind. Customer service is great too! My tickets are dealt with within just a few mins/hours usually. Above all that, data reliability is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

Not something to dislike per se but maybe a useful added feature that would help less technical people is to have more guidance/suggestions on how the the data can be cleaned/mapped via funnel.

Getting accurate data from different sources for several accounts in real-time. Data reliability helps us analyse and derive insights without wasting time on sorting out any discrepancies.

The ability to pull in data from multiple sources and "funnel" it wherever I want is incredible.  It enables me to make decisions so much more efficiently and effectively.  Plus their customer support is great.

There is a bit of a learning curve when getting started.

The biggest upside to me using Funnel is the ease of use to connect sources or set up metrics and dimensions along with the customer service that is readily available to help with issues or concers.

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

There are issues when sometimes a data source needs connected more than once and causes doublecounting of metrics

**What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A transformation tool for our data to feed into a Looker Studio report based on certain dimensions and be able to utilize needed metrics as well.

Not having to deal with integrating directly with many APIs to extract marketing data
Ability to normalize the data coming in, ensuring the data coming in from different sources speak the same language (schema)
Simple connectivity with Looker
Great customer support

You can't really join different source and create a single data table, making it somewhat confusing

When you got everything set up, which is kind of a lengthy process, Funnel is inutitive and makes your reporting quick and reliable. Customer support is responsive and friendly.

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

Takes some time to wrap your head around, and the set up takes some time. Still some bugs in some connectors that haven't been solved after a few months.

Very easy to use platform. Powerful ETL process that let you build a strong marketing data hub. Connect platform and building Looker Studio Reports or automatic export It's very easy.

History of changes is not available but i notice that for some feature (ex: Dimensions) they're developing that. So, well done guys .

**What do you like best about Funnel?**

The support team have been amazing, they come back with answers to any problems I have had within the same day normally. Knowing that I have that support to ensure I can get the output of data I need is reassuring. Also, the data explorer part of the tool is great, it just ensures that any custom metrics or dimensions I create are correct before I import into my reporting dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

File import data sources do not recognise new columns in excel docs, so we need to delete data sources and recreate those, this also means formulas need to update accordingly. We try to ensure that the data sets we want to report on are set in stone, but our business evolves and we need to adapt sometimes. Not a huge issue, just means 1-3 times a year we need to go through this process.

**What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem Funnel solved was that a lot of our reports were in excel, which took hours each month to run and update. Funnel now automates 99.9% of those excel reports we used to create via a scheduled excel import of our raw data.

We also managed to combine data from marketing channels and our website platform to provide more insights.

**What do you like best about Funnel?**

Their support/training in getting started with the platform is EXCEPTIONAL. I can't imagine a better experience. The three guys that were all on both onboarding/training calls - one of which was the sales rep I've worked with since the very first touch point - were each friendly and pleasant to work with, but far beyond that, they each went above and beyond in answering questions, digging into any special requests I brought up, and providing specific use-cases and examples to learn from within the platform. I have never seen that level of genuine interest and dedication in making sure our team was set up for success with their product/service. The main tech/platform trainer had me share my screen to complete the steps on my end as we explored the platform so that I could start navigating and feeling comfortable on my own to get everything up and running as soon as possible. His training method went a long way in helping me learn the dashboard and features. They were also highly attentive and receptive to my questions and feedback. Gagan, Chris L. and Marty are rockstars! Thank you for making the transition to learning this new platform so easy!

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

So far, nothing. I have a clear understanding of connecting all of our clients' data sources, setting up metrics, dimensions, filters and views, connecting the data to Data Studio and using Funnel's Data Studio report templates. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the platform set-up and capabilities at this time. As with any new platform, it takes time to learn where and how to access certain features and manipulate the data to display exactly as you're intending, but all in all, the platform seems intuitive given the level of sophistication and the comprehensiveness of the capabilities it offers.

**What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our agency is switching from manual reporting to automated reports. We have numerous clients each with numerous different data sources that make reporting quite the headache. Funnel offers a wide range of connectors and furthermore, they will build any custom connectors for data sources not already offered - which is amazing! They are going to save our agency so much work and effort by automating tasks we previously had to manage every month.

What I like best about Funnel is its excellent customer service and support. The team goes above and beyond and is super friendly and helpful. I also really like that I can see and track my data/insights. Funnel is very user-friendly and has made my life easier.

Sometimes it can be time-consuming to set everything up in Funnel, but other than that I don't dislike anything else.

Being able to see all of my data in one place to analyze it is very beneficial. Huge time-saver.

Some things about the features were not communicated to my team, customer support used to be better a few years back.

It can become costly when you add non-paid connectors - organic social etc.

We previously used Supermetrics, which required internal developer support regularly.  New users can be trained on Funnel, very quickly.

It has a fairly intuitive interface in terms of use, which allows me to perform a large number of activities in a very fast and easy way, the fact that it allows integrations with a large number of applications turns out to be very useful When performing data analysis, another important aspect is the fact that it allows me to collect and analyze data from multiple applications in a fairly simple, simple and fast way, which is of great help to me when I want to draw and design strategies of sales and marketing in a much simpler and more dynamic way, the customer service team provides a fairly complete and excellent service, which is especially useful when you have to ask them any questions.

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

Its reporting and graphing options can present some errors, however it is something that can be solved quite easily, the fact that it does not support the import of databases directly from other database management systems is also something quite negative.

**What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More than all, it has been helping us to collect information from my clients in a much simpler, easier and faster way so that both our sales and our marketing can be improved in a quite efficient and simple way and without presenting any type of inconvenience with its use.

**What do you like best about Funnel?**

Even in areas where Funnel may not excel at the moment, the customer support team has been essential to helping us implement this platform in our reporting/analytics workflow. They've been nothing short of responsive, receptive and helpful when we have questions or suggestions, and they're more than willing to explore creating new API connections for platforms they don't currently support.

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

I think the biggest downside to Funnel at the time of writing this review is the hit-or-miss knowledge base. Although you'll find maybe 80% of the answers you need to certain questions, it's harder than it should be for novice users to make the most out of Funnel. If you're new to this type of platform, be ready to go through quite a bit of trial and error, but lean on their support team for help if you can. I'd also note that Funnel's data visualization tools are limited; however, through their own admission, they don't claim to be a data-visualizing platform — and the real power comes from being able to connect up to Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Funnel:**

Work closely with their sales and support team to find out exactly how they can help your business with Funnel. Chances are, if they don't have a feature or support something that you need to right now, they'll be willing to work on updating their platform to support it. Also, if you're a novice user like I was when I first started with it (i.e., a lot of marketers might not be super familiar with how Funnel can help them right away), jump in and don't worry about making mistakes along the way. The knowledge base and the support team should be able to help you with the vast majority if any issues you run into, but a lot of your expertise with this platform will likely come from trial and error.

**What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing spends across all digital platforms has always been a major challenge, and Funnel allows us to visualize actual vs. budgeted spends on a monthly basis at a glance. In addition, we're currently working Funnel into our monthly reporting workflow, which has always been a massive headache due to its manual nature. Funnel will help us streamline and automate much of that workflow and allow us to focus on analysis and recommendations rather than building reports every month.

**What do you like best about Funnel?**

I like how easy it is to use  and the amount of features to choose from. It's also fairly reliable. Their customer support is always very helpful as well. The analytics seem to go above and beyond other sources. It also offers a wide range of flexibility.

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

The monthly rate is quite high and there are minor limitations to the data presentation. I wish the GUI was more in depth and they should add the ability to create custom reports.

**What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to quickly review a channel's performance and evaluate the performance based on common data across multiple online marketing channels. It has made our office more efficient and removed the need for us to import cost data into Google analytics.

**What do you like best about Funnel?**

Their customer support is fantastic. Whenever I have an issue they are quick to get it resolved. The product has simplified our lives and given us greater insight into our marketing spend. We spend across about 10+ channels at any given time. Funnel allows us to ditch the spreadsheet and the chore of pulling spend data from every channel every day.

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

They don't have control over when channels update their APIs. For instance, we had an issue getting spend data from Pinterest for a while. Something tells me it wasn't negligence of Funnel's side but just Pinterest changing their API.

**What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The initial problem was to eliminate the daily chore of retrieving and summarizing our ad spend every day. One member of our growth team was responsible for this and the process was just awful. Funnel eliminated that chore and automatically pulls all the spend data into our DB. In addition, we have been more granular data we can report on and alert our marketing managers on which Ads have the highest ROAS.

**What do you like best about Funnel?**

I like this tool because I can do my work very quickly and I don't have to spend so much time each day, I don’t need to check daily all my traffic. At the moment Funnel provides me all I need. I like the customer support and they can give you a nice training about the tool, they can help you how to set up your Google Analytics data.

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

Too much stuff and functions on dashboard. Some features are not intuitive and I have to search for them in order to get help on how to use it.

Please check out Funnel if you want some nice forecasting features for business and marketing.

This great tool Funnel.io help me to see the financial reports like ROI and I can see these costs automatically and I don’t need to set up manual data.

If you run a large number of campaigns on multiple channels and need a way to easily see spend by campaign aggregated by channel, this is an easy choice.

**What do you like best about Funnel?**

That I don't have to spend hours hours and hours each month, analyzing all my traffic sources. Funnel gives me everything I need at a glance. 
The customer support is really great as well and not only have I learnt tons of stuff from them but also do they offer great training within the tool, help setting up your dashboards and much more.

**What do you dislike about Funnel?**

Nothing really. I had some issues with networks/channels that needed some work to add to my dashboards but the support team helped me out there. 

**Recommendations to others considering Funnel:**

If you're spending way too much time trying to get an overview of all your digital marketing spend - this is the tool for you (and yes it does so much more but for me this is the biggest win). 

**What problems is Funnel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like I mentioned before, Funnel makes my life so much easier when it comes to visualizing my ad spend. Based on that I can easily see where I may be overspending and where I can spend more. 
It also makes reporting within the organization so much smoother and I don't have to spend as much time in meetings, explaining things, anymore.
