Foxit PDF Editor Reviews & Product Details

Using Foxit PDF Editor has been a great opportunity for me as a researcher, and I mainly use it to highlight resources, make markups, and merge PDFs that are connected, which makes it a highly valuable tool. The ability to merge files is what I like the most, as it helps solve the hassle of connecting documents during research. I'm really happy to have come across this software. It is truly a game changer to easily place the continuation of a file in the right place, and I appreciate that a lot. The initial setup was splendid and smooth, with no difficulties at all. The only issue I have with Foxit PDF Editor is that it doesn't scale files sometimes. This doesn't really impact my work, but it would make my work more complete if it were fixed because I wouldn't have to be making things manually always. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I started using Foxit PDF Editor in January, and I was looking for a way to edit PDF files. It allows me to sign my PDFs and convert them to Word documents, which is totally breath-taking because otherwise, I would need to use another app. I've found it incredibly useful for editing PDFs, which was the most significant reason I got the app. It's honestly been a game changer for me, especially when mistakes are made on a PDF document, like in a resume. Instead of recreating it from scratch, I can just edit it. I've been recommending Foxit PDF Editor to people since I found it helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used Foxit PDF Editor to merge PDFs once, and it disappointed me a little. I'm not really sure if that problem was an error from the developer's side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy it is to pull information from a drawing set without changing the original files. Checking dimensions, highlighting specific areas, adding callouts, and organizing sheets all go quickly, which makes plan coordination feel much more manageable. The main drawback for me is that some tools aren’t immediately obvious when I’m working under time pressure. I sometimes end up digging through the menus to locate a specific editing or annotation function, and this is especially noticeable on detailed drawing sheets. I use Foxit PDF Editor primarily for editing files, which is the most important thing for me. I enjoy that Foxit PDF Editor is accessible for PDF editing even though it's not entirely free. The feature I enjoy the most, aside from editing, is the ability to sign a document or apply my signature, which helps indicate that the document is secure. I appreciate that it's easy to use, and there's nothing complicated about the initial setup, which I would rate a 10/10 for ease of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So far I don't dislike anything about the app but there is always a room for improvement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Foxit PDF Editor for viewing, editing, and signing PDFs. What I appreciate most is its ability to edit PDF files without altering the authenticity and merge files seamlessly. The feature that stands out is converting PDFs to Word, which retains the original format perfectly and is always editable. It feels like a goldmine because not many PDF editors can do this accurately. That's why it's my number one app for anything PDF-related. The setup was really easy for me, and I would rate it a 9 out of 10. I've confidently shared it with friends and would recommend it anytime, rating it a 10 for recommending. In the content detection aspect, Foxit PDF Editor still needs more improvement. It sometimes only detects certain aspects of objects, which can be limiting. Additionally, I'm not sure if it's available to use on mobile phones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really appreciate Foxit PDF Editor's ability to convert models to interactive 3D PDFs. This feature allows clients and subcontractors to zoom, rotate, and review full 3D layouts without requiring specialized viewers or licenses. I also love the ability to calibrate custom scales directly on drawing sets, which lets me measure perimeters, square footage, and linear wall lengths during client meetings without needing to reopen heavy CAD or BIM models. The initial setup was incredibly smooth, with our IT team deploying Foxit firm-wide in under an hour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find that live simultaneous multi-user redline sessions are not as seamless as industry standard AEC collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how Foxit PDF Editor helps me quickly make corrections, add information to PDF files, and manage my documents efficiently. It lets me edit images, proofread files, and format text by bolding it, adjusting alignment, and adding numbering when needed. Overall, I find it very useful for both personal tasks and work. I don't have too many issues, but the problem I normally encounter is when a file has too many pages, it will be slower to scroll through. It can end up speeding past the page I want to reach. I think the capacity should be able to handle more quality files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that Foxit PDF Editor makes everyday PDF tasks fast and straightforward. Editing text, searching and replacing content, merging documents, adding comments, and managing pages can all be handled in one place without needing multiple tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Foxit PDF Editor Review

The main thing I dislike is that some larger or image-heavy PDFs can become slower to load and edit. Text recognition and formatting can also occasionally require manual adjustments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Foxit PDF Editor because it lets me quickly review and update technical drawings with its markup, measurement, annotation, and editing tools. These tools are especially useful for handling revisions while keeping the drawing set organized and clear. The measurement and markup tools stand out because they allow me to check dimensions, add clear notes, and highlight revisions directly on technical drawings. The editing tools make quick updates much easier without rebuilding the entire PDF. Switching to Foxit from Adobe Acrobat felt more practical for our drawing workflow as it makes technical drawing revisions quicker and easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some advanced editing and formatting options can take a little time to navigate, especially when working with detailed technical drawings. A more streamlined workflow for complex revisions would make it even easier. A streamlined revision workflow could include quicker access to frequently used markup tools, easier comparison between drawing versions, and simpler batch updates across multiple pages. This would make detailed drawing revisions faster and easier to track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Foxit PDF Editor; it is a very robust application, with a lot of tools that are very intuitive to use, such as text and text box editing, the ability to add new content, images, links, bookmarks, and symbols, as well as signing documents, protecting them, separating pages, and reorganizing them. Also, the initial setup was simple and quick. On the other hand, I value the price, which seems very competitive to me compared to other tools on the market, as it offers the same (or even more) editing options. I find the deployment with Intune very complicated and, moreover, the official guides are quite outdated. I would like them to develop a better application to be able to deploy it massively and to publish an updated guide, really up to date with Microsoft's changes.

On the other hand, the comments in the PDFs are not very intuitive, both for using them and for verifying them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
