What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

I love Foxit for the simple fact that it doesn’t try to cram an ad in your face with every click. The UI fits well with my workflow and feels familiar compared to the other software I use, which makes it a perfect match for my work. One problem I have with a lot of software—and something Foxit actually solves—is that I can open it up, use the software I chose to use, and it isn’t constantly trying to push me to subscribe or switch to their other tools. Some companies today seem to monopolize everything they touch, stay the biggest in the game, and still deliver some of the worst-performing software… but hey, it has AI and integrates with all of my other software!!! What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

I like how with Foxit PDF Editor, I can do almost everything I need with a PDF without having to switch programs or software. The edit tool is something I use a lot, especially for making quick corrections. Being able to merge invoices easily is great. The search and replace feature is really helpful. These features save me time when working on several projects. We switched from Adobe Acrobat because Foxit felt more straightforward for the PDF tasks I handle regularly, particularly editing, combining files, and making quick corrections to client documents. What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

As a general contractor, what I appreciate most is how fast I can split and combine pages, rather than sending an entire drawing set to every sub. If I only need the MEP sheets from a 500-page architectural set, I can pull just those pages in seconds and share only what’s relevant. I can also merge scattered cut sheets and RFI responses into a single clean, well-organized submittal package, which keeps everything easier to track. What do you dislike about Foxit PDF Editor?

My biggest annoyance comes up when I’m out on a job site with spotty cell service. If I’m trying to sync a large, marked-up submittal package back to our main cloud folder, SharePoint, Procore, whatever the project is using, and the connection drops, Foxit doesn’t always pick up the upload again cleanly on its own. Because of that, once I’m back in a decent Wi‑Fi zone, I sometimes have to double-check that the office actually received the most recent version. The biggest problem this solves for me is verifying subcontractor bids without needing a separate, expensive takeoff program. When a flooring or drywall sub sends over a number that looks a little high, I no longer have to print an oversized sheet and scale it by hand. Instead, I calibrate the scale directly on the PDF in Foxit and use the area and perimeter tools to confirm the square footage myself. It takes about five minutes, and it’s caught more than one inflated quantity before we locked in a contract, which has saved real money on material costs over the past couple of jobs. What do you like best about Foxit PDF Editor?

I work with budgets, audit reports, and client statements every day. My favorite feature is turning big Excel spreadsheets into clean PDFs without breaking the columns or cutting off numbers. I also like the compression tool it shrinks large report packages before I email them to clients, so the files send faster without me needing a separate program.
