📢 I've printed my comics through 5 different offset printing places before Formax Printing and have found Formax Printing to be the best of them all!

Here are some points that make Formax Printing great...

⭐ I just completed 14 printing projects with Formax Printing and would highly recommend them to others. The comics always arrived quickly within a few weeks of the order being made. And all the comics are sealed in plastic, which was a big surprise. They never offered or mentioned that they would be doing this. Other printers would charge extra for something like this.

⭐ The prices were amazingly low! 1000 prints of one of my 24-page comic book was only $1,076.52, including shipping costs. This price was lower than prices that I was offered anywhere else, including China printers! (The only one that had a price similar to theirs was a printer in South Korea that only did wireless transfer payments, which I did not like.) Such a low price made initially skeptical that the US printer could rival foreign printers in price and quality with all the taxes and fees that are often with USA printing services. Usually, they are more than double the price of printing services overseas. But I am glad I gave them a try!

⭐ The quality was some of the best I've seen. Some printers print fairly dark, even after making the required printing adjustments, but the colors of are surprisingly bright. The wasn't as glossy as the other printers I've printed with, but I don't think that is a bad thing. It feels more like paper from children's book than the normal glossy magazine type of print that I normally get.

⭐ Communication is amazingly good. I've dwelt with printers in the past where I don't hear from them for weeks or months, causing me to worry that everything might not be okay with my print order. But communication with Formax Printing is excellent. Keith would call me to check with me on my requirements of the comic book project, which was great. I also would almost daily alerts about the progress of the print. A

⭐ Formax Printing is also very transparent on their prices. With other printing places, I had to inquire about shipping costs and additional fees, whereas Keith always included all the information I needed with each quote. With their low prices, they obviously have nothing to hide!

I will be doing business with Formax Printing again (very soon) and will be recommending them to other comic book creators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have done 14 print runs with Formax so far in the past 4 years, the longest that I have been with a single printer. But I occasionally use other printers if I find a better deal or if I am in hurry and need to order on weekends.

I will still say they are one of the printers out there. Most of what I reviewed before is still true, but here are some things that I wish to add...

🫤They don't have an online order form that most printers have. Because of this, I have used Mixam's printing service whenever II was in a hurry to do an order and wanted to make the order on the weekend. This is the only thing that makes their service better than Formax's.

🫤When Formax Printing was bought by Safeguard (back in 2023), an individual who I wasn't usually in contact with (I think she was from Safeguard) contacted me, telling me that Formax Printing made an error months before on the printing costs and said I needed to pay an additional fee to an order that had long since been paid (and the packages already delivered). I told the person that I would not pay for something that had already been agreed upon months prior. After there was some back and forth on this, they said I didn't have to pay the fee. I almost never came back to Formax Printing after that incident. I went to Mixam for a while but then came back to give them another shot. I never heard from that lady after that, and the service went back to being the good service that they are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When you get to color they have deficiencies in quality. Maybe they are not how fast they should be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
