Send tabs allows me to transfer a tab to another synced device. For instance, if I need to continue filling out a form or researching an opportunity at home, I can send the link to my home computer or phone. Likewise, I can send work-related material to my work machine. Send tabs serves an important role in the excellent library of Firefox Sync capabilities. This avoids the extra steps of email links to myself, etc. I understand that other browsers such as Chrome offer similar functionality. While Send Tabs isn't a unique power of FireFox, it is virtually required for modern browsers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This works as expected and it is difficult to identify flaws. I have occasionally experienced a delay in transferring tabs, no doubt to bottlenecks in the network or device.
Another, perhaps inevitable, drawback is that inactive devices are shown in the list of available devices to send to. This could be cleared up, no doubt, by simply maintaining my FireFox account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
