Fan Constructor is a CPQ and design automation platform built specifically for fan and rotating equipment manufacturers. It covers the full quote-to-drawing workflow in a single tool: aerodynamic selection, product configuration, costing, and automated GA drawing generation, all in as little as 14 minutes. The core of Fan Constructor is its rules engine. Every material option, bearing arrangement, ATEX classification, and temperature rating is encoded directly into the platform, so users can only ever configure what can physically be built. That means fewer errors, fewer back-and-forths with engineering, and quotes that actually reflect your factory's capabilities. It integrates with your ERP for cost roll-ups and BOM/BOO pushes, and connects to Autodesk Inventor for automated drawing output. Compliance is built in across ATEX, ErP 2026, FEI, API 673, DNVGL offshore, food grade, and nuclear standards. **What do you like best about Fan Constructor?**

The speed is the obvious one. we can go from a customer enquiry to a priced quote with a GA drawing in a fraction of the time it used to take. But the bigger thing for us is confidence. The system only lets you configure what we can actually build, so there's no risk of quoting something that causes headaches downstream in engineering or production. It's essentially got our product knowledge baked in.

**What do you dislike about Fan Constructor?**

The initial setup takes serious investment, getting your product rules, materials, and pricing logic configured properly isn't something you can rush. It pays off, but new users do need time to get up to speed with the admin side of things.

**What problems is Fan Constructor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, gednerating a quote for a custom fan meant pulling in engineering time for every enquiry, checking what could be built, working out the cost, producing a drawing. It was slow and it didn't scale well. Fan Constructor puts all of that into one process. Sales can quote accurately without needing to loop in engineering at every step, and when an order comes in the drawings and BOM are already there. It's taken a lot of the back-and-forth out of the business.
