What do you like best?

ExpertSender is a perfect tool for smaller companies and start-ups that are planning to grow and expand their email marketing activity by adding new solutions when needed. We appreciate it that we can always count on their business expertise and advice when it comes to mapping-out our mailing activity to meet our goals and make the best of advanced automation solutions. Their support Team is always there to give us a hand and help us to get our way around the system.

What do you dislike?

We've just started working with them and haven't noticed anything that'd be overly problematic. However, they could improve the editor the way it'd support Hebrew language and RTL writing.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

ExpertSender was referred to us by a friend who's been using the platform for a couple of years now. He saw his business grow considerably and since we're working for the same industry (travel), we're sure that with this platform we'll be able to meet the needs of our clients (airlines) and conduct various marketing scenarios to better target the customers. We're still waiting for the visible benefits, but for now a dedicated Account Manager and complex data management tool are a huge added value.

"Excellence in Services and Support in English and also in Spanish!"

What do you like best?

Mainly the personalized Support and their ability of helping us to understand the tool in a simple way. I have an Account Manager that I can contact anytime I need and that makes me feel very comfortable because I know if I run into any problem, I will have a direct contact that I can count on.

My Account manager is very responsive and I really appreciate the time she dedicates to me: if I have any questions on how to use a functionality, she will answer back with a full detailed explanation, with all the step by step I need to take in order to solve any issue I have.

What I also like is that can even provide support in different languages, Spanish for example.

What do you dislike?

I’d like to see the Reports section more intuitive. However, when there is something not clear, support team will always help you with any questions we have.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Besides being a very profitable system to have, ExpertSender has an excellent support service in a very personalized way. They can even provide support in other languages other than English that can facilitate a lot the communication.

ExpertSender also has all the functionalities you need to creat beautiful and effective e-mails and has modern technology to create smart automations that will help improve your results.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have mostly realized benefits in Marketing automation and highly personalized emails.

The automations is very simple and efficiente. Clients can create different types of automation in a very easy way, saving their time so they can be even more productive.

"Expertsender really does deliver and with 1st class support"

What do you like best?

Mainly the support. Support is crucial with IT solutions and Expertsender support is excellent. We recently switched to the new API version and communication and support was second to none.

Also I would say the API functions well for what we use it for and is fairly straight forward to implement.

What do you dislike?

Very little to say here. One thing that bugs me a little is that I can't edit newsletters or transactional emails so I have to create a duplicate to make even the slighest edit which can be a pain. Other than that perhaps reporting could be a bit more detailed (although I think that has been improved upon) and when I'm looking at old segments created from old subscriber lists, even with notes it's not always easy to tell how they're comprised and compare them.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

For us it pretty much works as we need it. We mainly use it for transactinal emails as well as bulk sending of newsletters and it is sufficient for both of those. We like having the ability to stagger emails and send at peak times etc.

" Flexible, easy to implement tool with excellent service."

What do you like best?

ExpertSender allows you to combine data in a very convenient and arbitrary way. The multiplicity of data sources is not a problem here, which is extremely important in our case. They have really good customer service. We can count on professional help and support anytime. As a result, we are able to implement all intended communication activities with our clients. I highly appreciate the possibility of constantly improving the performance of our activities. We are able to react very fast to changes that are happening on the market, and adapt our company and the system to new tasks.

What do you dislike?

The presentation of some analytical data is not ideal. A few less important widgets are missing, but this does not interfere with the smooth use of the system. Some ExpertSender modules work independently on each other. However, this is not a big problem in our case.

It's a very reasonable system. It is worth talking to them about cooperation.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

ExpertSender is used in marketing automation activities and mass mailings of the newsletter within 8 European markets. With its help, we effectively activate our clients in a very personalized way. We send several million emails monthly to our clients, which are characterized by very satisfying deliverability and efficiency.

"Great Results and Personalized Service from ExpertSender"

What do you like best?

The best part of being ExpertSender’s partner is that they provide truly personalized support – instead of forcing us to use a chat or a ticketing system and wait in the queue to ask a question we have our own Account Manager to whom we can reach out whenever we need. They also make sure to respond in a timely manner and act quickly to solve any issues that occur from time to time. We can also count on their advice when it comes to putting our business ideas into action with the use of the best tools available. It provides a comfort level that we have someone who truly understands our specific business requirements as our rep, and always has a backup that responds just as quickly.

What do you dislike?

The Drag&Drop editor has it flaws, but we don’t really use it. There could also be more options to integrate with external services, you basically have to do it via API and entirely on your end. We are comfortable using an offline HTML editor and working in the simple HTML editor. This is no problem whatsoever.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

As stated in the title and reasons we like ExpertSender- they produce results and their support is fantastic. There was a bit of a learning curve, but they were there to get us going and now we feel much more in control of our email. Don’t feel discouraged by the learning curve, knowledge will come with time and the more you use the system the easier it’ll be to handle even the most complicated operations. Make sure to explore all the available options and ask about additional (=extra paid) features if you really want to grow!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

There’s hardly any company conducting online marketing campaigns that wouldn’t face deliverability issues at least once in their lifetime. Thanks to ExpertSender we can rest assured that all such issues will be addressed and resolved, without us having to struggle with analyses and escalations. This benefits us hugely since we’re able to reach a bigger audience and expand our marketing activities. Expert Sender regularly exceeds our expectations helping with delivery issues and advocating on our behalf when necessary.

"Good for real targeting with strong and easy to use API and great personal support"

What do you like best?

Generally, there are 3 areas why I like working with ExpertSender: Reporting/API, Targeting and personal support.

1) Working as a Data Scientist for an Email Marketing Company, detailed insights into our performance as well as an effective system to make sure that our messages reach the right audience are key. Fortunately, Expertsender offers one of the best reporting systems, in terms of depth and UX, I've encountered in an ESP so far. Statistics can be aggregated in multiple ways from simple date ranges, over domains and domain families (extremely helpful for inbox providers that have multiple domains like Microsoft) up to the individual IPs that were used during the send out. Also available inside of the platform itself are external statistics like SNDS or (Market dependent) Signal Spam. Nearly every report, as well as the raw user activity data, can also be accessed via API. As a result, creating your dashboards and statistics are pretty easy

2) Targeting is the reason why we looked at Expertsender is the first place (see below). Their integrated tag-system allows for easy and individual categorization. Targeting then females, interested in fashion that have been active during the past two weeks, it a) possible and b) just takes those three conditions during the segment creating.

3) Delivering large amounts of emails is more complicated than many people realize. Expertsenders deliverability and in particular our account manager have helped us to identify and fix flaws in our strategy and templates.

What do you dislike?

As an ESP and not an SMTP relay, it's currently only possible to sent a mailing via API to lists and segments that are already created in the system, instead of simply handing over an array of recipient emails - and segments can't be created via API. For a full end-to-automation, those two features are something I would wish for in the future.

Also, even though it's easy, creating more complicated segments can naturally take its time. The option to "copy-paste" parts of a segment could speed things up.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our reason to start using Expertsender was the shift in deliverability requirements over the past years. While the spray-and-pray approach might still have worked a few years ago, many inbox providers like Gmail have, rightly in my personal opinion, have become incredibly sophisticated in keeping irrelevant content out of the users' inbox. As described under "What do you like best?", We were looking for a more targeted approach with sending individualized emails to our users, with content that is relevant to them. In doing so, we were able to increase our Inbox placement and with that Open- and Click rates.

"The perfect solution at the right price!"

What do you like best?

ExpertSender has so many options for segmenting database and optimizing that at the moment we know that it was a tool for us! We've got so many attributes about our clients (such as type of skin or hair) and we can generate the right segment with a few clicks. Drag&Drop editor is very easy and allows to create a message in a few minutes, so we've got all need things (specify group and good-looking creation) to start sales :)

What do you dislike?

Our biggest challange was Magento synchronization. We've got unusual sales model (cosmetics boxes in subscription), so the beginnins were difficult, but we've finished this process. Also we discovered a little problem with display centred text and buttons on Gmail mobile app.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

- Facebook ADs in automation workflows

- Onsite tools: widgets, banners etc.

With ExpertSender we have increased deliverability and openability our messages by several percent each compared to the previous supplier.

"Amazing support and great deliverability."

What do you like best?

Expert Sender has amazing workflows and automation features. You can make them as simple or as complex as you like. We have several workflows setup now that cover the different life cycles of our subscribers.

Another feature that has been very helpful is the ability to create goals and then have workflows or new campaigns start or move to a different offer depending if the goal has been reached. Very powerful! We can now easily stop sending promotion series A when the user has converted and automatically move to a new promotion.

The other thing I like best about Expert Sender is their amazing support. Having a dedicated account manager has been great. It makes it so much easier to get assistance in creating a new campaign when you work regularly with someone that know your business setup and goals.

What do you dislike?

At first the functionality and many options available to use in creating campaigns was a bit overwhelming. This overwhelm didn't last long with the great customer support they provide. My account manager was great help in getting our initial workflows setup and running while we learned the system.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Take a demo and give it a test run, you will be impressed by what is possible. The do also really live up to their name. They truly are experts at delivering email.

We had a large promotion last summer that require a dramatically increased sending volume. Expert Sender worked with us to come up with a plan and add additional ips to our setup to accommodate this extra volume. The campaign was a great success.

"Expert Sender are what they claim, experts in sending! "

What do you like best?

The software covers a lot of tools needed to organise and send daily mass mailing campaigns. From the list management tools to scheduling emails and workflows, you just know this is build by a team that knows what they are doing.

What do you dislike?

What I dislike is actually something you can like in the same time. But Expert Sender is very strict on the lists making sure your lists are clean. It's hard work but at the same time it's needed to get the best results.

Just get on the phone with one of their sales team and you will find out immediately what Expert Sender can do for you.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Emailing is becoming an art, if you don't know what you are doing you will not be able to get good results in terms of delivery. Expert Sender knows how to help you with that.

What do you like best?

- Deliverability for B2C probably the best on the market

- Relational data tables - a powerful feature for advanced segmentation and personalization

- Lack of more specified documentation (but support will help you always)

- Too restricted email validating for B2B email addresses, many of valid email addresses are rejected

If you are searching for a solution which can be tailored to your business ExpertSender will be a good choice. Don't be scared of quite ascetic UI... what's on the inside that really counts :)

"Simple and effective tool."

What do you like best?

Using the user interface is simple and intuitive. Extensive segmentation allows you to segregate subscribers, which allows them to send customized marketing offers.

Thanks to segmentation and the search algorithm, we managed to restore communication with less active subscribers.

They provide support from the very beginning of using the platform. They respond to requests for help without any problems.

What do you dislike?

Less intuitive tool for creating D&D messages. It can be annoying and despite the ready template sometimes you have to work on the final end result.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We managed to solve the problems with delivering messages where some of them were considered SPAM. The delivery rate is at a very high level.

We are also pleased with the opening ratio.

"Expert Sender"

What do you like best?

As an e-commerce store we look for integrated tools that offer multiple solutions so we manage all our e-marketing activities in one place. ExpertSender provides us with just the type of platform we need: reliable, scalable and, what’s most important, flexible. They constantly improve and add new features, such as pop-ups and newly added web push to make sure they give competition a run for their money. We also appreciate the support of our Account Manager and the tech team, who are always doing their best to attend to our needs and help us to resolve any issue.

What do you dislike?

There might be some minor twitches every once in a while, but nothing major really and we can always expect a satisfying solution. We’d maybe like to see more visually attractive and intuitive interface when it comes to Marketing Automation scenarios.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Don’t be afraid to ask for help when needed, the Team will conduct individual training for you until you get the grasp of it. Also, make sure to test out all the features, especially the new ones that ExpertSender keeps adding, it’ll really help you business grow! The Team is also great when it comes to inventing ideas for business cases so: ask, ask, always ask!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We try virtually every tool available, from Data Tables to handle our complex data, the Web Module features including shopping cart abandonment, product recommendations, pop-ups, etc. Truth be told we’ve really observed an increase of our ROI ever since we started expanding our activity by introducing more complex and advanced scenarios.

"Little things that make difference"

What do you like best?

Second to none customer service, intuitive and simple interface.

"Simple and easy to use! Amazing support team!"

What do you like best?

- The portal is very user-friendly.

- Customer support is very on point during work hours.

- Reports are easy to export.

What do you dislike?

- When I have to deactivate a recurring message for me to edit it. And then when I'm about to activate it, the inactive list is not sorted by "latest modified" so I have to look for it after editing.

- I wish they have 24 hour support, but doesn't really bug me as much. As when they're available, they give me 100%.

"Marketing automation in Automotive"

What do you like best?

We do appreciate the flexibility of the tool that allows us to integrate numerous services

and develop truly multi-level campaigns. By integrating our CRM system with ExpertSender

we rest assured that all the customer data is transferred smoothly and used in various business

scenarios, across different stages of customer journey. Having a dedicated Account Manager to

help us conduct the campaigns and solve potential issues is a huge added value.

What do you dislike?

There could be more ready-made integrations, however, the possibility to use API to connect

with virtually every 3rd party service compensates it. It also takes a bit time and effort to really

learn how to use the system efficiently.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Thanks to having our subscription form integrated both with the CRM and the mailing platform

we can inform every potential customer about their actions involving buying a car through mailing

communication sent regularly from ExpertSender. It’s a crucial part of a marketing strategy in the

automotive industry since it “guides” our lead through their entire lifecycle, from the moment of

signing up for a test drive up until the moment of their final decision – to buy, or not to buy. We can

also use additional scoring to adjust post-purchase communication with special offers.

What do you like best?

It is a complex system to use, but it is easy to use it when you learn it. Expertsender has a really high standard of customer service. In our company we have a lot of different products which require a lot of attentions, where Expertsender is really good partner to have.

We use Expertsender to have a dynamic e-mail flow where it is important for us that the e-mail flow knows how to switch e-mail users to another e-mail flow if the user changes position in our end. This is something Expertsender is good as.

What do you dislike?

This is a minor problem for me, but if I had to mention something about Expertsender that could improve my experience with them. Would be a analyst to analyza your unit and what could be improved. E-mail marketing is getting harder and harder and sometimes it is nice to have a person who know the system in site out and can help improve deliverability. With this said Expertsender is more than happy to do it if you ask them, but it could be nice with a report system or personal service that could help you improve!

If you want a system that can handle a lot of data and give your customer a unique customer experience. Expertsender is very professional and profitable system to have. I can fully recommend your system!

"It's great to work with Expertsender!"

What do you like best?

We appreciate the user-friendly interface, it is really easy to use. One of the most useful features is subscriber segmentation allowing us to track the actual engagement of recipients. The support team is full of creative ideas and we love the proactive attitude, especially when it comes to deliverability and handling related issues. Dedicated IPs are great for building sender reputation and maintain optimal email delivery in the long run. Although I have worked with many email platforms, I still think Expertsender is one of the best.

What do you dislike?

I’d like to see the Reports section more detailed and transparent, I’d love to be able to download visually appealing charts etc.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

ExpertSender will provide you with all the necessary tools whether you are a beginner in email marketing or if you have been doing it for a long time. Plus, go for it if you value great support!

"Great Service with a nice Value for Money features."

What do you like best?

ExpertSender provided us with a price competitive solution when we were in the startup phase and it happened to be the best choice we could make, really good value for money. Our Account Manager has always been very supportive and innovative, helping us to choose the best mailing strategy for our type of business – we’ve learned a lot from him about the importance of segmentation and targeting your audience as well as the effective use of dynamic content to personalize emails. It’s crucial for a travel agency to react appropriately to our customer’s behavior online to maximize the conversion. The technologically advanced tools available in ExpertSender make virtually every business scenario possible and easy to execute

What do you dislike?

The thing I miss most regarding the platform is such a simple feature as excluding some segments of recipients when scheduling the newsletter. There’s no such option, so as a workaround you have to exclude certain users on the level of segments which makes it a bit bothersome and creates so many segments that you have to handle later on. One can find themselves a bit lost because of that and truth be told excluding recipients is something so basic that really helps (and most ESPs already have this option).

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Devote some time to really get to know the platform and explore all the features. Arrange initial trainings with your appointed Account Manger as soon as you start using ExpertSender – not only will you strengthen the relationship, but they’ll also help you to map out the activities in the best way possible. Ask a lot of questions about the way segmentation works to dissolve any doubts. Overall, ExpertSender is a very complex solution and comes for a good price, so if you’re looking for a tool that will automatize as many things as possible and as much as possible, but you’re on a shoestring budget , go for it!

As I already mentioned, they were there for us when we just started our business, believing that we'd grow into the company that we are today and introduced us to the world of email marketing, which truly boosted our business activity. ExpertSender has several really useful tools. We were able to restore subscribers who left our website and shopping card without any purchases.

By using extended segmentation we're able to deliver relevant content which resonate with our customers. Thanks to that we have more completed transactions. We're satisfied with customer support, they are always open to help.

What do you dislike?

Getting back data from data tables sometimes could be annoying. It’s easier when you feel comfortable with SQL

"Flexible, top class support and easy to use.. ExpertSender has all of them!"

What do you like best?

I like the way the platform is designed from an UI/UX perspective. As a experienced marketer in the email industry, it's always a pleasure to deal with a platform which has both a nice engine in the back-end but also a nice interface to interact with.

What do you dislike?

Reporting can be a bit painful to deal with, when it comes the time to drill down for specific information with ExpertSender's default features.

Deliverability! It really allowed us to have a better control/visibility of all the volume we send. Plus ExpertSender deliverability team is top class.

"ExpertSender is flexible and intuitive"

What do you like best?

We were able to send campaigns really fast without spending a ton of time to learning ExpertSender platform. In case of doubts or issues anytime we can count on support team especially in case of deliverability issues.

Everything you need to create and send your email campaign is in one place. We appreciate the segmentation that allows us create efficient campaigns.

What do you dislike?

Minor things, some of user tools could be more intuitive.

"Top Deliverability! Excellent support, friendly staff"

What do you like best?

The speed of the platform is amazing.

Even complex segments load within seconds, never had anything loading for over 30 seconds.

UI and UX are great.

Deliverability.

What do you dislike?

Nothing really. Maybe only the fact that it doesn't have adnetwork integration and pulling creative / stats is done manually, but that's not a problem at all giving that most of such platforms aren't integrated with affiliate network tracking platforms.

"A truly great ESP (at last!) "

What do you like best?

It's rare to find an ESP that actually REALLY knows about delivery. The staff is extremely responsive and knowledgeable, and are also proactive to help head off any issues.

What do you dislike?

Having worked with many ESPs, there is usually a long list of complaints. It's rare to be disappointed with them about even a small thing.

Their delivery is great, and they always find a way to solve any problem we have - quickly. The platform is easy to use and flexible - great for a company where we don't have much time to train new employees.

"Best ESP We Have Ever Used"

What do you like best?

We've used several ESP's (both Enterprise Level and other) and ExpertSender is by far a cut above. Their customer service is phenomenal and their segmentation abilities are really first class. The platform takes some getting used to and we aren't even close to utilizing it's full capabilities yet however we love what we have seen and definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others looking for a solid solution to their email marketing needs.

Platform takes some getting used to and isn't necessarily as intuitive as we would like however overall it's great and anything that you need help with support is glad to assist with.

What do you like best?

We found here almost everything we need to execute our mailings and we've been achieving satisfying results. It's also good to see such complex platform developed by our fellow countrymen.

The interface is mostly intuitive but for me a little old school. There are plenty of options, which can however be considered both a pro and a con.
