The UI simplistically allows for tender acceptance. **What do you dislike about ECRS POS?** ECRS was cumbersome to make menu modifications and allowance of item modifiers. **What problems is ECRS POS solving and how is that benefiting you?** ECRS was a MicroMarket self-pay POS solution which worked well for us. ### 2. We have had good experiences with their support from initial installation through over a decade of use in our natural food cooperative grocery. We're now using their Gateway ordering system with iPods connected to scanners to place orders with vendors big and small. And I'm hoping to implement the WebCart e-commerce system soon. **What do you dislike about ECRS POS?** As with any software, upgrades and updates bring changes expected and unexpected. It's the undocumented changes that often give me headaches. I prefer documentation reflecting changes that will affect our business (how discounts are applied, membership data entry, report formatting). Sometimes ECRS does this well; other times, big promises take a long time to fulfill. Please note that I say this with an understanding of the variety and quantity of customers ECRS has. **Recommendations to others considering ECRS POS:** Take a serious look at ECRS Catapult. The company provides an excellent array of options, supported hardware and truly cares about the success of your business. **What problems is ECRS POS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Thousands of transactions daily. Month and week-long sales that we can set start and end dates on easily. Reporting on sales, discontinued items, profit/loss, etc. Membership joins, transfers, and patronage reports and refunds. Ordering with vendors of all sizes. Automatic printing of espresso & juice orders. Inventory maintenance, signage: the lists go on and on. Software features and hardware tools are added that boost the value of the Catapult environment. ### 3. I had never really had any issues with the program. **What do you dislike about ECRS POS?** The program was slow at times and only crashed maybe a couple times a year. **Recommendations to others considering ECRS POS:** I think that this is a great program for food businesses. Definite yes! **What problems is ECRS POS solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was on a menu screen and running a register doing cash, and credit/debit charges. ### 4. As a product buyer for large distributors, this was a huge time saver. **What do you dislike about ECRS POS?** There wasn't much I didn't like. The process of setting it up and entering all of our product and distributor information is the only pain that I can think of. **What problems is ECRS POS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Most importantly, keeping track of inventory.
