"Excellent Customer Service Provided"
What do you like best about e-junkie?

I worked with Tyson today. None of my Shop buttons were working after installing a SSL on my site this week. Tyson was able to look at the html source code on my site and tell me exactly where I needed to update http: to https: Now all of my Shop buttons work again. I am very grateful for his expertise and helping me get my Shop buttons working again! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Online Sales Platform"
What do you like best about e-junkie?

E-junkie is easy to use once you get used it. It has many powerful features and is very flexible for different kinds of items. We use it for both items we ship and for downloads. We especially appreciate the functions and options for coupons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about e-junkie?

We have to ask for an HTML code to offer items for sale through our PayPal account. It's not a big problem but does take a little extra time. Their tech support responds quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best online tool to sell digital products"
What do you like best about e-junkie?

I love the fact that e Junkie provides you with a shopping cart and buy now buttons which you can simply place on your existing websites in order to sell your digital products easily and you don't have to go through the trouble of making a new one if you don't want to Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about e-junkie?

E Junkie is a pretty cool and useful tool overall but something that can be improved is their customer support team which doesn't bother replying to their clients in a timely manner Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent since we started using e-Junkie in 2009"
What do you like best about e-junkie?

Incredibly reliable platform. I know since we've been with e-Junkie since 2009. Fantastic and dependable technical support and innovative solutions. Over 12 years e-Junkie never gave me a reason to switch to a competitor. They always delivered in evolving their product to compete technically and were also extremely competive in their pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about e-junkie?

Literally nothing. We left e-Junkie in 2021 because our company had grown quite a bit and we migrated our website to a new ecommerce solution that already supported PDF downloads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unreliable Digital Selling Website"
What do you like best about e-junkie?

Low monthly pricing, unlimited bandwidth, user interface easy to navigate, good integrations, nice buttons. Without much prior knowlege, it is quite intuitive to setup a shop to sell digital products like ebooks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about e-junkie?

Flaky performance. I was doing testing and got a message saying that my IP address was blocked. Seriously for a product that I listed at zero? I need to be absolutely sure that everything works when I go live. Sometimes you may have to logout to refresh. I could learn to live with their system but a customer complained about not being able to download files after credit card payment was processed. That was the last straw. Response from Tyson N of e-junkie

This is Tyson with E-junkie, sorry we saw your review here so late. Unlike many online services, we're always glad to help our clients sort out any issues if they contact us about it.

The IP block you encountered is a security feature to prevent crooks clearing out your inventory in case of inadvertent mis-configuration allowing unintended Free Checkouts. If you're using Free Checkout for testing, you can lift the block on your own IP by signing out of our Dashboard and back in again.

We would have gladly helped you sort out the problem with that buyer who had download trouble. Perhaps the email with their link wound up in their Spam folder, or perhaps they had an Apple iOS device, which (up until iOS 11) won't download a file if the device has no app installed that can open that type of file; this was the most common download issue until iOS 11 finally included a Files app that can handle files of unknown types.

Issuing links to files on Dropbox/etc. allows buyers to share that link with others, who can then visit it directly to download without paying you first. Passwords only work when the user can be trusted not to share the password along with the link; otherwise, it's like putting a padlock on something but leaving the key in the lock.

To avoid that problem, we issue each buyer a unique link that expires, so even a shared link soon becomes useless for everyone. We can also deter sharing of PDF files by stamping the buyer's name, email address, and unique Transaction ID on every page of their download.

Drop us a line if you'd like to give us another chance; we'd be glad to revive your old account and products for a new free trial period. :-)

"Great price, complex to use, less professional looking, and good starting place"
What do you like best about e-junkie?

The price is excellent and good for people with very few products or services or as a low-cost starting point for a shopping cart before expanding the business or an otherwise basically frugal business owner. There is also an affiliate program available which can be helpful in creating more revenue for everyone through affiliate marketing . There is no high monthly fee that is payable whether you process any transactions or not like other carts charge. It integrates fairly easily when it comes to setting up the cart with a site. Customer service is also helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about e-junkie?

It is more complicated to use and less intuitive than other shopping carts both for the administrator and for a user either a buyer or an affiliate.. It also looks less professional than other carts do, which can negatively impact a site visitor's experience and overall impression of the seller's company, ultimately potentially causing lost sales and cart abandonment. Even the name of the product leaves a questionable impression. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tyson N of e-junkie

It appears this review was posted a few months before we rolled out an all-new shopping cart design in mid-2019, with a much more modern, tidy and professional appearance. We've also updated and improved our seller Dashboard since then as well.
