But dScribe is just the solution to that! In my experience, we always try to develop the data into information, but then how you store the information? Writing and keep the information upload is way more easy with dScribe, and also the information is easy to find. Also, I need to talk about the people that work here. They are super kind and motivated, thay had a really good customer support. **What do you dislike about dScribe?** As I am a worker in the BI area, for me this kind of programs are awesome. Maybe, for people that are doing a small scale work computational speaking (a lot of people only work with excel only) maybe these tools can also be included for them. **What problems is dScribe solving and how is that benefiting you?** How to keep the information updated and how to store information to have a better access for every worker. ### 2. Without any explanation or training, data citizens can start to use the tool as it's supposed to. This quality pairs well with the second upside of the tool: The pricing model. You only pay per connector and there is no user limitation (which is the pricing model of most data catalogs), in such that the whole company can immediately profit from the data catalog. This combo helps to get data governance & metadata management started at the organisation, and is recommendable for any organisation that will take it's first steps in business lead data management. **What do you dislike about dScribe?** When evaluating different data catalogs, the emphasis was laid on user friendliness. This had the downside of choosing a solution that does not have all the functionalities of the established catalogs in the market. **What problems is dScribe solving and how is that benefiting you?** Showcasing the benefits of some basic data management aspects (metadata management, semantics and data governance): Bringing ownership tools to data owners; Overview of data assets; Input for data strategy; Identification of use cases for master & reference data management; Information source for various data analyses. ### 5. Having a single point of entry for all documentation is very useful. Both for IT and business users maintenance is easy. As a cloud application, access is very easy. Content wise, the focus is on user experience, by consequence, information overload is avoided. This is very nice as other data catalogs quickly contain too much features making it much harder to use by users. The dScribe team is very open to feedback => you get more then a tool but also a partnership. **What do you dislike about dScribe?** - If we realy want to promote dScribe as a single point entry for data assets stored in multiple system, so extra attention to the home page might be required. Quick access to favourites is recommended. - connectie dScribe to source systems can be more automated. **What problems is dScribe solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently, we have different BI tools in our organisation. dScribe helps us to centralize and document all our data assets in one location. Each company has multiple sources of data and its not always easy to understand where you can find data + when you should use certain information 2.
