Often people are not comfortable with change and one of the things that are not having really a big update during time is knowledge management. But dScribe is just the solution to that! In my experience, we always try to develop the data into information, but then how you store the information? Writing and keep the information upload is way more easy with dScribe, and also the information is easy to find. Also, I need to talk about the people that work here. As I am a worker in the BI area, for me this kind of programs are awesome. Maybe, for people that are doing a small scale work computational speaking (a lot of people only work with excel only) maybe these tools can also be included for them. The foolproof user interface is the biggest quality of dScribe, next to their so far unfallable system. Without any explanation or training, data citizens can start to use the tool as it's supposed to. This quality pairs well with the second upside of the tool: The pricing model. You only pay per connector and there is no user limitation (which is the pricing model of most data catalogs), in such that the whole company can immediately profit from the data catalog. This combo helps to get data governance & metadata management started at the organisation, and is recommendable for any organisation that will take it's first steps in business lead data management. SAC expert Enterprise (\> 1000 emp.) 11/17/2022 "Definitely one of the best and most promising data governance tools on the market" 5/5 What do you like best about dScribe? dScribe is a single solution for complex challenges that every mature company will eventually come across: - The need for a central repository of all data objects in both technical and functional language - The automation of integrated, qualitative documentation of all reports and data sources - An easy search functionality to go through the available KPIs, reports and data By integrating dScribe with our relevant systems, reports and data assets are crawled automatically via APIs, so the effort for the customer is minimal, while many different personas can profit from the outcome with only a short training. With dScribe we can catalog all our relevant data assets across multiple system. Having a single point of entry for all documentation is very useful. Both for IT and business users maintenance is easy. As a cloud application, access is very easy. Content wise, the focus is on user experience, by consequence, information overload is avoided. This is very nice as other data catalogs quickly contain too much features making it much harder to use by users. What do you dislike about dScribe? - If we realy want to promote dScribe as a single point entry for data assets stored in multiple system, so extra attention to the home page might be required. The dScribe team is eager to improve their tool based on the input of clients and partners. They really listen and tailor their roadmap based on this input.
