**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

The close connection with restoration contractors. The fact that you've buildt a product that was easy to implement within my company, is easy for my technicians to use, and detailed enough to capture the majority of our client's requirements & protocols, makes it the go-to solution on all of our jobs.

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

Your 360 tour isn't as good as iGuide's. The user experience and user interface could be improved upon with some minor tweaking. Specifically by adding the ability to walk through the property with on-screen arrows, instead of having to click the dots within the floorplan. It's fine on a desktop / the web, but cumbersome on a mobile device.

**What problems is DocuSketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have forced the utilization of THREE (3) timeline tours per job that we are awarded:
- One upon initial inspection (to capture any pre-existing damage and assist with the scope of work.
- One upon completion of emergency services, and with equipment dropped.
- One upon completion of the job.

These three timelines provide us excellent quality control and evidence of work performed. They guarantee that no property owner will be able to falsely accuse us of breaking something or not doing what we were hired to do.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

DocuSketch saves so much time, and covers so many liability gaps within the service industry, I can not fathom why any company would not require this level of project documentation. From the initial scan (15-30 minutes for an entire home), to timeline scans (ex: initial response, equipment set, mitigation complete, contents packed out, reconstruction in process, reconstruction complete, contents packed back/reset), the ROI and cost to benefit are undeniably one of the best processes I have implemented. Additionally, we were able to get our 3D camera mounted to our remote crawl space robot that takes a 360 photo of crawl spaces, which is a game changer in helping explain site conditions.  Highly recommend the investment!

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

Due to the expedited scan time(s), the resolution is not enough for high level zoom detail. We are however able to take close-up/detailed photos and tag/insert them along with comments within the docusketch. This functionality works best for us, as we take multiple scans, which would require too much time for high-res data transfers.

**What problems is DocuSketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The speed of scanning not only documents the site for estimation, project quality control and existing site conditions, but also provides the ESX file for quick measurement references with Xactimate. This allows all three of our departments (Mitigation, Contents, Structure) the ability to see the site within varying project completion points.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

Easy to use, implementation and efficiency. Time spent photo-documenting evidence at any type of loss is not only cut down to a fraction of the time it would traditionally take, but the same image capture process are transformed into acurate room sketches. The ease of integration and countless hours saved self promotes frequency of use by restoration technicians. Imaging the ability to acurately and completely diagram, scope, sketch and photo-document an entire home in minutes. There was very little use of the responsive customer support team due to their comprehensive on-boarding program. Few products are able to instantly transform business as usual and docusketch for us has been our number 1 game changer

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

While the cost is on a subscription basis and could be considered expensive. We've been able to continously recover the monthly cost in production time saved from traditional/manual paper sketches, reduced insurance claims, and most of all improved customer experience. The ability to photo/video capture 360degree view and compare initial loss condition with for example on-going mitigation condition capture or pre-construction condition capture all the way to final condition capture is priceless.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

DocuSketch is a game changer in today's world of property restoration.  This user friendly platform enables our Project Estimators and Supervisors to perform multiple task simultaneously in a fraction of the time it used to take with the simple press of a button.  Our valuable and scarce resources are now freed up to accomplish two and three times as much as was once possible.  In the process we no have documented historical video tours that result in more accurate and consistent sketches and estimates for our clients with the added benefit of protecting all parties by recording pre-existing damages, structural layout and finishes and personal property placement throughout the work area.  Now we truly can make the damaged caused by the unexpected event "Like it never even happened."

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

In the past during high demand disaster situations such as hurricanes or freezes, the turn around times for Sketches and estimates could take several days....but even this has been adjusted and improved upon significantly.

**What problems is DocuSketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In a industry of limited trained/qualified estimators and supervisors it allows us to be substantially more effective and efficient.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

It allows us to have documentation of the project, and because of it's timeline ability, one can see documentation as a side by side of different stages of the project. We no longer do sketches and it saves us between minutes to hours depending on the size of the job. 
We lower our liability by being able to document pre-existing conditions. 
If we are following our emergency services team, it allows our repairs teams to plan, scope, estimate, and budget before they even step foot on the project.

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

It would help if the files we download from DocuSketch would be integrated to automatically do so into our CRM software.

**What problems is DocuSketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves documentation problems. The cost of equipment is relatively low and we are able to have more people do the documentation. The timeline feature gives us the ability to see the project at different stages and show all stakeholders the progress. 
We are able to show side by side pictures in our marketing of before and after.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

We have been using DocuSketch for just under two years now, and it has been a game changer for RMC.  The greatest value for us where we’ve seen a positive ROI is in the amount of time it saves.  Our Project Managers and Directors are able to spend minutes instead of hours on-site (and at the office for some sketches) documenting, which frees them up to focus on other crucial areas of their project management. 

The timeline tool is an amazing feature.  You can perform your initial scan on the first day showing all building materials in place (as well as drying equipment).  Your next scan can be a post-demo tour prior to handing over to your construction team, who can then perform multiple scans showing all phases of repairs up to completion.  This is great for clients who are not able to visit the site on a regular basis to view progress for one reason or another.

The photos and notes tool is a great feature as well.  You can add photos/videos taken with your smartphone to any area of the scan, to document things like the source of loss, pre-existing damages, or add a video walkthrough explaining damages or suggested methods.

One more thing I have to mention is their phenomenal customer support team.  Rob McCallum and Todd Sangid are great resources for us to assist with any questions or requests we may have, and their help desk is very efficient in responding when our team needs it.

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

I wouldn’t necessarily label them as ‘dislikes’, but there are two features that would improve the overall quality and usage of DocuSketch.  One would be the ability to walk through the tour by clicking arrows on the tour itself, instead of clicking of each individual dot on the floorplan (like Google Earth and Matterport).  The second thing would be overall picture quality, especially when zooming (resolution could be better, but overall it gives us what we need).

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

We’ve been using Docusketch for the past year, and it has truly transformed the way we work.

The training resources and job aids being readily available make onboarding and ongoing learning simple, and the customer service is exceptional—response times are incredibly fast! Having a dedicated team of estimators who understand our territory and adapt to our needs has been invaluable.

Integrating Docusketch into our business has allowed us to scale quickly, enabling our project managers to focus on running jobs and reviewing estimates instead of writing it from scatch.  The biggest impact is how using docusketch has allowed us to meet our carrier SLAs, which increases our claim volume.  

We couldn’t be happier with the impact Docusketch has had on our success!

The accounting part of docusketch can be improved, the spreadsheets are hard to interpret.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

Docusketch helps us in the restoration business capture things that can often go unnoticed and continue to monitor those things throughout our claims process. We can easily add notes associated with areas of concern, track moisture points and monitor content - all through the mobile app. Uploading photos within a claim note is particularly useful as well!

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

I have used both android as well as Apple devices to connect to my Theta device for capturing timelines. I can confidently say that navigating ios is much easier and wish that some flaws were worked out on Android. I often find that when adding a timeline on Android that I constantly have to switch between 5G and my Theta device. I find I am unable to see the location of the tripod in the initial timeline without connecting to wifi / 5 G and then have to then disable wifi and connect to the Theta device to capture the scan. This is something I did not have difficulty doing seamlessly on an apple device. 

Overall the pros outweigh the cons.

Docusketch created a transparency between operations and management for us. It provides a detailed timeframe of each of our claims.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

Pre and Post mitigation scan capabilities. The new link feature to be able to reference certain areas of concern in a scope. The customization so you can share certain areas that may only apply to certain trades instead of having to send the whole tour.

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

I personally like the old camera function better where you can click the side of the camera when ready instead of the timer... Option for this would be great. Found issues pulling the cubic images and delays on downloading.

I personally liked the ability to go through the tour with the insured or adjuster and control the screen with the previous function as this can sometimes be confusing for someone who hasnt used it before and the ability to walk through the loss virtually and talk it over is great in some scenerios.

Better documentation, less site visits as the estimator. The ability to review peers projects and help address issues or provide guidance

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

We appreciate the speed of the captures and the camera/tripod is easy to move around in tight rooms. The 3D tours DocuSketch creates allow us to scroll around just like we are in the room looking around which allows us to catch all the details we need when writing our estimate. One of the most important features for us is the integration with Xactimate and the fully detailed sketch we receive which saves loads of time for our Estimators. We have used DocuSketch for over a year and are using it on most of our interior projects now.

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

The requirement to purchase a camera and tripod vs using a mobile device to capture adds up if you get a set up for multiple Estimators, but it does allow you to capture the images faster and gives a much supperior virtual tour than the other options available with mobile capture. We've had a few minor issues with some projects not syncing with our PSA job management program, but those were corrected when brought up to support. The new version of the 3D tour doesn't have the option to view it full screen when integrated with our PSA program.

We can use less Estimators to process more projects with the time that we save using DocuSketch. (among other up to date tools that we use)

Docusketch has allowed us to operate more efficiently and document our jobs. In the industry we are in, documentation and telling a story is important and we know that Docusketch has helped us with that. Along with that, the customer service that we have recieved throughout has been second to none.

Docusketch has eliminated several extra steps for us:
- with the property scan, we have the sketch in a digital format and our office team can implement the sketch right into xact. Before this software, we were hand drawing and then driving it back to the office for the office team to draw it back in xact
- Sometimes when we did hand drawing, we missed mesaurements. Not with docusketch!
- Having docusketch write fire estimates upfront has helped becuase we know how many man hours we have to be profitable on that job
- Docusketch has helped our construction team by writing the estimate and helping us there!

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

DocuSketch has helped our team improve our cycle times in all phases. From documentation to estimating it puts valuable time back in the hands of our project managers. The mobile flexibility allows our teams to handle more work while DocuSketch produces sketches, 3D images, photos, and estimates. We use DocuSketch on nearly every project. It has also shortened the learning curve for our project managers coming from out of the industry tremendously.

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

I wish DocuSketch more seamlessly integrated with mitigation softwares. This would decrease some of the double entry that is needed in terms of sketching, taking photos, labeling photos, etc.

**What problems is DocuSketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DocuSketch allows us to document every phase of our project in a time where documentation is the number one factor in getting paid in a timely manner. It has also helped us to increase our capacity as individual project managers and a company with the estimating service they offer as well as improving our estimate value.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

There are several reasons why I love DocuSketch, but the most important reason is because it makes my job and my life easier. I'm an estimator, so I'm able to view each damaged room to see how much personal property will need to be moved, how much affected material was removed, if there is pre-existing damage, etc. I am also able to send the tour of these affected rooms to the insurance adjuster so that they can gather the information that they need to manage the claim from their end.

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

There is not one thing that I dislike about DocuSketch. If I've ever experienced any technical issues with the program, I've always been able to get the issue resolved prompty by chatting with or sending an email to their help desk.

**What problems is DocuSketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using DocuSketch, we only had one person that knew how to create an accurate sketch. Now that we are using DocuSketch, all of our sketches are accurate and all are delivered within 24-hours or ordering. Most of the time we receive the sketch back much faster than that.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

I actually like the customer service the best. A company that cares about their customers is one I want to do business with. In terms of the actual software, I enjoy the feature where you can get unlimited walkthroughs on a project you sketched. This could be really beneficial for liability reasons and can assisst in supporting documents to get our invoices paid in full. I like how quick and easy it can be to document or sketch a property. Taking out some of the labor on the documentation and inspection side increases productivity and therefore profitability.

I don't love the price comparitively. But there are a ton of great features.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

The combination of the 360 degree tour and a esx sketch has improved our estimating and accuracy. Our PM's don't have to drive back to the office to create a sketch and build an estimate. The measurements are much better than doing it by hand. Off shaped rooms become easy to sketch. We take a 360 tour before we begin and upon completion. It is better than our techs taking pictures and the customers love the ability to zoom in and see everything at once.

It can slow down during storms. It can get expensive.

Our sketches for Xactimate are much more accurate. The 360 degree tour gives us tremendous details of the before and after. We use it for marketing by providing our customers 360 degree photos for their records.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

DocuSketch saves a lot of time in the field, and is especially important when your'e working in a dirty, wet, fire loss.  Taking less time in these environments is important, and it's great to get 360 photos and accurate measurements.  The time in the field it reduced, and the time it would normally take me to do the sketch in Xactimate is eliminated completely.  For larger losses this can be up to 2 or 3 more hours.  I can easily share the DocuSketch link with others as well.

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

For someone who is doing fewer claims than I used to (working part time), I would like to see a plan subscription that has a lower fee.  I'm good with the per sketch fee, but the base subscription seems higher than it should be for 2 sketches per month kind of use.

Saves time, and provides quick and accurate sketches / dimensions.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

The ability to thoroughly document a space through every phase of work brings so much value to the restoration industry. Creating a tour of a property prior to any mitigation or demolition work commencing allows us to restore the property more accurately. The ability to receive a sketch of the space also allows for accuracy & consistency for all stakeholders involved.

The cost of equipping necessary employees with the required technology can get expensive.

Deploying DocuSketch technology at the beginning of a loss allows for documentation of the property prior to any work commencing. This reduces any confusion of like, kind & quality of the property during the repair phase of the project.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

Docusketch has allowed us to downsize the amount of Project Manager time on site. By using Docusketch our technicians are now able to capture acurate data from site and relay back to the interested parties without them attending. This not only save us time commuting to and from site, but also increases our Project Managers capacity to handle more files. Being able to have a technician capture the projects layout, scope, moisture readings, and order the sketch / estimate has allowed us to bring down claim cost in a big way.

The amount of information required (boxes to fill) when ordering a sketch that you did not order a tour on.

**What problems is DocuSketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docusketch has asisted us in not missing photos. By taking tours before, during, and after, there is a lot less guessing. 

Communicating  with desk adjusters and appraisers has been simplified. By clicking on a link they are now able to see the file in the same manor as us. This makes scope conversations regarding scope and coverage substantially easier. 

Tours have allowed us to capture pre loss condition of properties and contents. On numerous occosains this has resulted in large financial savings by providing the supporting documentation needed.

No more return trips for missed sketches.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

Docusketch has several features that aide in productivity increase within our organization from the ease of use to the implementaion all the way to the finshed product coming back to us from their excellent support staff behind the scenes. Our team uses Docusketch not only on their mobile devices while in the field but computers as well back at the office. The integration with our other sofware programs was seamless.

Trying to search for something that we dislike about docusketch and that is not something at this time I can provide. They are always on top of things and helpful all the way around!

Docusketch allows our teams to capture the home and all that has occured within the property. This has helped us in many different areas. Our turn around time for estiamtes has improved. Being able to see the full picture of a room allows us to debunk any issues that may arise from dmages that may have already been there and not caused by a team member.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

DocuSketch is great for my company because it's affordable, it documents preexisting damage so we don't get blamed for it, it captures building design details prior to demo which allows our rebuild team to make a perfect repair match, it creates our Xactimate 3-D sketch for us which is amazing, and it allows us to do virtual management and estimating without being present.

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

Its image resolution is poor. Also, I really wish the user could click to move around inside the tour without having to click on the sketch... so, more like Google Earth and Matterport.

**What problems is DocuSketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's clearing us from liability by documenting preexisting damage at the beginning of our jobs. 
It's creating faster and more accurate Xactimate sketches, this save us time and helps us maximize scope.

**What do you like best about DocuSketch?**

Docusketch is an amazing tool for any professional who needs to capture a 360 degree view of a an area and with a bonus caviat of being able to seemlessly integrate those with a sketch with the click of a button. Sharing these 360/sketches are made incredibly easy through their website.

Honestly, I love using docusketch I can't really think of a negative right now.

DocuSketch provides the ability to quickly and accurately depict the story of all losses through 360 view virtual tours. The return time on sketches and estimates is always quick. Estimates are very encompassing and can be tailored individually.  The Docuskech  app offrs many great communication tools within the projects. The ability to add notes in multiple categories with pictures is extremely helpful.

The app and system itself is very easy to use and implement throughout multiple crews and devices. We try our best to DocuSketch all projects at multiple stages throughout in order to really get a good timeline of the project.

DocuSketch customer support always wants to help and has great response times as well.

Sometimes getting the projects into Xactimate can be challenging, but a desktop it is seamless.

DocuSketch makes it easy to scan a property and request an estimate. Even if an estimate is not requested for overnight service, it's usually ready by next business morning. The staff is also very responsive and does what it can it make sure you get the most of their prodcut.

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

The billing piece could use some clarity. It took my company months to figured out how DocuSketch dioes its billing. For example, the "Sketch Creation Credits" in the invoice is called the "Extended sketch creation" in the excel breakdown. Same with tours; these are called "Additional Tour Credits" in the invoice, but "Virtual tour creation" in the excel. And then "Overnight Delivery" in the invoice is called "Overnight" in the excel. It would be helpful if all the categories were named the same across all documents types issued. Also a net 60 would work best for larger accounts.

Are company spend less time sketching, and in turn means we don't need as many estimators on staff because we are getting things done quicker.

The time it used to take crew memebers to sketch and take photos and properyly document the site would take hours and they would STILL miss things. Its super easy to use.  Turnaround times are fast. Customer support is very responsive and helpful.  Its great that additional photos can be put into each room.

**What do you dislike about DocuSketch?**

Its a little clunky to scroll through tours on a mobile devise..  not as smooth as something like Matterport.

I wish that there was a way to have photos input into an ESX file instead of having a separate photo file that is generated by Matterport.  If there was, I would probably use Docusketch for more of my inspections.  It saves me time with sketching and the virtual tour is great for desk estimating, but as it is now, I still have to go back through and take all of my photos outside of the Docusketch app so that I have them in Xactimate.  Integrating this would save a couple of steps.

Pricing is a bit steep for someone like me who may not use it that much (I'm an independent adjuster), but I understand that there is now a IA billing package with a lower fixed fee which is nice.

I also like to use Docusketch for a before and after so that we can walk through and see what was done for demo but also document the condition the structure was in when we arrived and how it was when we left.

The ability to both rapidly learn as well as actually take documentation of a loss brings peace to a sense of ugency when it comes to job intiation and scope development.  Almsot any tech can grab one of these devices and figure out how it works within a few minutes and have documenation to an office team within the hour. If there are any issues the tech support for the entire program is comprehensive, fast, and most importantly effective. I have neve had a problem that couldn't be resolved by Todd (My rep) or the build in support functions.

When it comes to using the documetation for marketing Matterport still has an advantage. However that is the only advantage Matterport has.

It make it possible to really dial in our estimates coming from Docusketch that very closely mimic the way that I complete my estimates. It's great.

Premier Claims has used this process to document many propeties, complete with full interior walkthoughs, after the hurricanes that impacted Florida. By being about to quickly document the entire loss, repaires and mitigation can start faster, and the insurance claims are easier to advance.

Since reintegrating back into our processes, it has allowed us to scale our operation when needed and taper off when it's not needed. 

By far, the tour features has allowed us to review our projects in greater details in addition to remote review with adjusters/clients. 

That alone make the utilization worth it.
