**What do you like best about Discern?**

Discern’s biggest strength is its ability to produce ARR numbers that we can trust, without requiring a lot of ongoing maintenance. It acts as a strong integration layer across our core systems (CRM and ERP), and allows us to codify our specific business logic in a way that’s both flexible and consistent over time. It handles the nuance well - things like contract edge cases, delayed renewals, and non-standard structures, without forcing us into rigid definitions or requiring constant manual intervention.

**What do you dislike about Discern?**

There can be some challenges related to data extraction for specific reporting use-cases but nothing major.

**What problems is Discern solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Discern has significantly reduced the time and effort required for month-end ARR reporting. What used to take 20–30 hours now takes closer to 3–5, and requires far less reconciliation. It also helped us maintain continuity through an ERP transition by acting as a bridge between historical and current data, so we didn’t have to migrate full contract history to get consistent reporting. Overall, it’s improved the consistency and credibility of our ARR reporting, especially in an investor context where clear attribution of growth (upsell, cross-sell, pricing) really matters.

**What do you like best about Discern?**

Discern completely changed how I handle marketing funnel reporting. What used to take hours like pulling Salesforce reports, syncing to Google Sheets with Coefficient, building formulas, refreshing data, manually counting rows, now takes 15 minutes. I just log in, filter by cohort, source, region—whatever I need—and the data’s right there. It’s a million times easier. I finally get to spend my time analyzing and acting on insights, instead of wasting hours just getting the numbers in the first place.

**What do you dislike about Discern?**

The Salesforce integration is not very self serve yet, needs some product development.

**What problems is Discern solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Censys needed a faster, more efficient way to track cohort funnel conversion rates and report marketing metrics. Manual reporting was slow and fragmented, making it difficult to see how leads progressed over time. With Discern, we automated our cohort funnel reporting, reducing reporting time by 87% and gaining real-time insights into marketing program ROI. Leadership now has instant visibility into conversion rates, enabling faster and more informed decisions.

**What do you like best about Discern?**

Discern enables us to standardize our ability to report ARR and CARR reporting from weeks to a single day.  We were using a series of multiple reports, cobbling it in Excel and manually making exceptions. We would then modify our definitions and approach and would have to go back into each historical month and apply updates and changes based on our changes.  With Discern, I know the historical data is an apples to apples comparison with the current data. During the implementation process, the team met with us daily to solicit feedback.  Changes were executed really quickly, and they made our requested enhancements along the way.  The team also offered their best practices to guide us when we had questions.

**What do you dislike about Discern?**

Sometimes you need to be patient with loading time and you need to pay attention to the data you've clicked on when you're exporting

**What problems is Discern solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Discern, our ARR reporting was a tedious, manual process prone to human error and inconsistencies. It took days to reconcile and make sense of our subscription and opportunity data. Discern has allowed us to automate the process, enabling us to refer to historical data and know it was an apples to apples comparison.  Instead of manually piecing together reports, we can confidently review our ARR and CARR in just minutes, saving us substantial time and improving data accuracy.

**What do you like best about Discern?**

Understanding accurate leading indicators of pipeline health has been a major challenge for us. Building dashboards in Salesforce wasn't providing the flexibility needed to easily segment data in different ways. This made it difficult to provide our RevOps team with the right insights to advise the executive team effectively.
Discern caught our attention as the only platform that combines sales and marketing data into one centralized place. Their super-intuitive interface that allows slicing reports by different segments was immensely valuable. Plus, the ability to build repeatable board decks in a streamlined way was something we hadn't seen elsewhere in the market.
Looking ahead, I'm excited to utilize Discern to present clear, digestible sales and marketing metrics that the whole team can understand. Having standardized board reporting down to the account executive level will be a major enabler of our success

I don't have any particular dislikes for Discern. It's well done.

Discern was a low lift, easy way for us to gain immediately pipeline visibility. The milestoned performance data in Discern made it easy for us to run planning for the year. Discern also enables us to accurately forecast.

We recently moved from Zendesk to Salesforce for our CRM. The Discern team and platform greatly supported us through this transition, providing us with immediately pipeline visibility and historical data.

**What do you like best about Discern?**

Discern has been instrumental in helping us stay on top of performance, without the need to chase individual business heads for updates or spend hours responding to ad hoc data inquiries. With a real-time view into performance, customized for each department, we now have the visibility needed to execute the best decisions for our business.

Additionally, the responsiveness of the Discern team is quite impressive. During implementation, we requested a number of changes and Discern was able to keep the project moving forward with quick turnarounds.

Nothing that I can think of at the moment.

**What problems is Discern solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Discern makes it very easy for our senior management team to own their KPIs and proactively monitor performance against targets. Instead of having to spend hours every week updating reports and answering ad-hoc data requests, Discern provides everyone with all the data and dashboards they need. Discern also makes it easy for me to update quarterly board reporting; I download graphs directly from the platform and paste them into our board decks.

Getting started is easy. Highly configurable, easy integration/connectivity, super easy to analyze your sales pipeline, very responsive support team.

Can be complicated to understand all the metrics available, and some have pretty nuanced definitions that can be confusing when viewed by executives without context.

Discern makes it very easy to look at standardized metrics and their change over time. It also has connectivity to your finance, sales, marketing, and customer data so you have a comprehensive view of the business.

Discern software frequently includes visualisation features, displaying data in simple, easy-to-understand formats such as charts, graphs, and dashboards. **What do you like best about Discern?**

Implementing Discern.io was one of the best choices I made in my first 90 days of building out a RevOps Organization at Florence Healthcare. The Discern team turns a task that is normally super complex and time-consuming into an easy, bit-sized effort that can be stood up quickly. It took us about 2 weeks to build and 2 weeks to QA before we were ready to launch, and that was absolutely amazing.  I continue to be highly impressed with the quality and speed of service that we received. This has been a home run for our organization and finally allows us to see all of our operational metrics in one spot. I'm so glad we implemented Discern.io. It has been a real game changer for us! Another game changer was that they allowed us to do automatic Sign on, provisioning through Salesforce so it feels just like another tab inside of Salesforce, which is been fantastic from a usability perspective. Let there be light!

**What do you dislike about Discern?**

While the overall quality of the dashboards/reports that you get is super high-quality, like any out-of-the-box solution, there is always a limit to how much you can customize it. On every occasion that we've requested customizations, the Discern.io team has been incredibly responsive and accommodating. Surprisingly so. That said, just recognize there are limits to how much you can customize it.

**What problems is Discern solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to Discern, everyone created their own version of truth. Anyone could tell any story that they wished as to the health of their organization. After implementing Discern, we now have a single version of truth for our GTM performance results. We now have the ability to have meaningful discussions about the performance metrics which is something we didn't have prior to Discern.

Increased pipeline visibility has given us insight into the areas where improving our sales force hygiene can unlock the possibility of having reliable metrics available all the time without custom reports and manual excel calculations.  Discern has provided with a tool to facilitate our operational sales and CS meetings where we can focus business discussions vs how we can consistently pull/filter the data we want to discuss.

Product itself: all the right dashboards for Exec to track activity & sales leaders to drive their teams based on data > a lot of knowledge/ intelligence has been put in the product & it's way better than building reports from scratch
Speed of installation: within 2 weeks, you can already get great insights
Customer service: all requests are answered so fast!

**What do you dislike about Discern?**

Not much.
I'm guessing we can get constraints at some point if we want to go deeper in data analysis/ cross different data sources, but so far, Discern product has evolved quicker than our needs (and team is so agile they handled things quickly if there is a real evolution need)

It allows good visualization of your data.

What can be less easy is that we cannot do change ourselves. 
We have to ask for every change.
The Discern Marketing part seems to be less accurate for us but maybe in the future!

**What do you like best about Discern?**

Salesforce out-of-the-box reports and dashboards are clunky and hard to manage. Tableau needs a lot of configuration to get me the charts and graphs I really want. Discern gives me all the charts and graphs, and all the data, that our sales leaders and I need to manage our business, without having to build everything ourselves in Tableau. With very minimal configuration, I can see a holistic view of our pipeline, forecast and rep productivity for the first time.

Beyond just getting all the data I want, their predictive analytics are insanely good. For example, within a week of the start of Q2, Discern was within $10K of where we ended the quarter. By day 10, it was exactly on target. Unreal. We now use the Opportunity Score predictions it produces as one of our key metrics to measure pipeline hygiene.

**What do you dislike about Discern?**

Administrative tools and ability to edit some things more on our end would be helpful I suppose, but honestly the Discern team is so responsive and agile it's a non-issue.

**What problems is Discern solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Someone I worked for once said "when the lights turn on, the cockroaches scatter." Or, similarly, "sunlight is the best disinfectant."

Before Discern, we lacked full visibility of our pipeline, which obscured or hid poor opportunity hygiene, because no one could properly measure and inspect it. Discern is like throwing open the window shades on the business and making it much harder, or impossible, to hide bad behavior.

Discern team is always available for adaptation and so quick to solve our problem, it feels like they are only working for us despite having already great clients.

I don't have anything that I dislike so far except that g2 forces me to enter the right number of caracter in this box. So here I am writing this long message for nothing

We are working on Salesforce and do not have a powerfull BI tool in place so far. We had difficulty to look at aggregated data, to historize it and to give actionnable data to our sales manager. With Discern we earned 1 year on this topic in only 2 months.

So far so good. The tool does what it's supposed to. It connects to SaaS configured SFDC instances and the CS team gets you up and running very quickly. Within one month of launch, we are already centering ELT conversations around the tool. New functionality appears frequently and is on-the-mark.

No real dislikes. Any minor nits are addressed quickly by the team and improved promptly.

GTM Execution - Pipeline analysis, velocity, sales funnel, activity reporting. All together in a nice little package that connects directly and automatically to our SFDC instance.
