I find that board material preparation is easy and quick with Diligent Boards. The reports generated from completed questionnaires are really useful. I appreciate the multiple capabilities Diligent Boards offers to assist with all aspects of board meetings and materials. I like the simplicity of revising questionnaires and generating various reports for data on the results. It’s helpful that all director questionnaire responses can be compiled into one document for easy reference. The calendar feature is a great central location for multiple people to view and make changes. When I upload a document to a meeting in the portal, I just want it to upload when I drag and drop, I don't want to hit a 'confirm' button. Too much clicking like this is a time-waster and seems like it could be removed. Also, the electronic signature upload shouldn’t have such extremely specific size requirements. This takes extra time and hassle to prep the signature to the requirements. It would be helpful if the system would automatically reformat an as-is uploaded signature. The user interface is very easy to use. I can create my Board books in a matter of minutes and edits or replacing documents is extremely easy. It doesn't feel "busy" and for new users, takes minimal time to navigate.

We migrated from BoardVantage several years ago, and I've found Diligent to be light years better. The web interface is intuitive, training is easy, the viewing portal looks clean and easy to follow. Building books is very easy (with one caveat in the dislike section), it was easy to integrate our legacy books using the drag and drop feature. Voting documents are easy to create and implement. Shielding private documents is easy to do, and replacing documents while maintaining notes is an amazing feature. Love the functionality to include dial-in info, as well as link the page in the notification. We use it frequently to communicate with our Board, and also our management team for C-suite meetings.

The customer service and live person support are fantastic. My "Team Gold" is extremely responsive at setting up accounts, and I love the trainings they initiated over the last several months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In the legacy OneClick, it was easy to build a book by dragging a folder full of individual documents and selecting the option to make each document a separate tab. The web version does not have this option (you need to save all the files in separate folders which is unwieldy, I've spoken to our customer service rep about). I've also heard complaints from our BOD that the home page is more "sales-y" than before, advertising conferences, and it's hard for them to find books. Another complaint I've heard from the BOD is they cannot "reply all" to notification if they have a comment they want everyone to see (have to either email them or create a message in messenger). I do wish there was more automation of some of the routine tasks. Also, some of the more advanced features can at times be confusing to learn and I sometimes find myself reaching out to their support team as I don't want to make a very consequential mistake on something I was unclear about. I use Diligent to prepare for 14 board and committee meetings each year. The best feature of Diligent Boards is the ability to update documents in real time.
