What do you like best about DbVisualizer?

The internal SMEs here love working with this product. When they ask me to renew it for them, your customer service has always been great and you provide quotes on time. What do you like best about DbVisualizer?

DbVisualizer is a tool created in order to be able to perform operations on your databases through an easy-to-use GUI. The features that I like the most are:

- It is possible to create backup copies.

- You can import and export databases regardless of the size or execution time they entail.

- It has an easy to learn GUI to use.

- You can have multiple connections simultaneously, even with different types of databases.

What do you dislike about DbVisualizer?

Although the tool offers a totally free version, the professional subscription has a really high cost that is also paid individually per user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like to recommend this tool to students and professionals who frequently manage databases because it is very easy to learn to use. It is possible to create databases and execute queries easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DbVisualizer solving and how is that benefiting you?

DbVisualizer has helped me to synchronize the schemas of all the databases of my company. The biggest problem that helped me solve this software is that I managed to import a database of more than 3 GB, which in the database manager of the company's hosting service was failing due to exceeding the execution time. I am a fan of DbVisualizer, and have recommended it within my shop often. No dislikes that I have run into. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DbVisualizer solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the biggest challenges I've conquered -- ignoring all the day-to-day churn that DbVisualizer gets involved in -- was to create a method of running 50-70 queries against 10 different database instances on a weekly basis with different filters each execution. I tried several different products -- no, make that "I tried a whole bunch of different products" -- and found that DbVisualizer was the only one that satisfied all the needs of that project. Instead of my going insane trying to manage the query executions and routing the output to the correct locations and spending a long time doing so, after a day of learning the DbVisualizer scripting and coding the actual logic, it took about 15 minutes to run all the queries for all the instances, with output routed to the proper file sharing destinations. What do you like best about DbVisualizer?

The ability to query table structures and see a limited data set is awesome! And the db connection information panes are very useful as a convenient display when we are reproducing those connections on ODBC configurations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DbVisualizer?

There are no "gotchas" in this software. A couple of additional features would be helpful, like default naming of new SQL Commander files, or the ability to emulate MS SSIS keystrokes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There if free and professional version available, thus I recomned to first try it and then decide if it will cover your needs.
