"DbVisualizer is an excellent tool"

What do you like best about DbVisualizer?

Very easy/intuitive to use. It does everything.

I am a senior software architect for a very small company. I've been using DbVisualizer for many years, I literally can't do my job without it. It's easy to install and update, and is incredibly intuitive to use. DbVisualizer has saved me hundreds of hours of development time.

What do you dislike about DbVisualizer?

This is minor, and it speaks to how lazy I am. If I am only connected to one DB, DbVis should just assume that's the connection I want to use when executing SQL, and roll it into the Database Connection box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DbVisualizer?

There are some UI issues in Mac, the cursor stops working when the focus on the app is lost for a minute. Easier set up options for making other users invisible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DbVisualizer?

Option to have so many different types of databases configured and connected in one client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

On large datawarehouses the table and view name caching takes a bit long and stops you from continuing work in the meantime Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best software for DBA"

What do you like best about DbVisualizer?

DBVis: the convenience and simplicity of using all the tools for creating and maintaining relational databases. I use 90% PostgreSQL and I prefer DBVis to pgAdmin to create and modify my dbs. From Windows 11 to MacOS to Linux, from multiprocessors to Raspberry for me it is an indispensable tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DbVisualizer?

What do you like best about DbVisualizer?

Sql commander is great and provides the export options customized to create and generate the scripts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Heap memory gets full when we open multiple tables at a time. So it requires restarting the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DbVisualizer?

It's an easy to use, intuitive database browser with the functionality to do all the basics really well. I find it a much more pleasant experience than some of the more common tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DbVisualizer?

Not much. There is the odd very obtuse Oracle specific analytic query the parser doesn't seem to support (it infers some wildcards in search patterns as SP variable substitutions so prompts for a value) but that's probably my ignorance of the workaround rather than a defect.
