Daylight is a pumping adrenalin, blood-curdling, ultimate ride to the limit. The storytelling is done very smartly; the claustrophobic setting and the way it's told hold the viewer back. This movie can easily be described as a very immersive experience. The explosive visual effects, especially at the breakout scene, are extremely brilliant and heighten the sense of realism. The plot bored me, the characters were not developed well. We have very little data about the role of their motives and psychological states, hence it is hard to form a deeper relationship with the paranormal investigators. This thin attribute might be irrelevant to some of these viewers, but it could leave others with high desire for immersion and unfolding the characters' fates.
