# Which sports performance analytics integrate seamlessly with wearables and GPS tracking equipment?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I'm looking specifically at which sports performance analytics tools connect cleanly with wearables and GPS tracking gear, since that integration is often where these platforms either prove their worth or fall apart. Same honest note as before, the <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/sports-performance-analytics">Sports Performance Analytics</a> category on G2 is small and thinly reviewed, so treat this as a starting point rather than a settled ranking.</p><ol>

<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/hudl-sportscode/reviews"><strong>Hudl Sportscode</strong></a>: supports syncing video with external data feeds including tracking data, which is the main reason it's the most established name for programs combining film and wearable data.</li>

<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/sap-sports-one/reviews"><strong>SAP Sports One</strong></a>: designed to pull in athlete monitoring data from various sources including wearables, though the review base here is very small.</li>

<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/dartfish/reviews"><strong>Dartfish</strong></a>: primarily video based, with some support for layering external performance data over footage for a fuller picture.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/instat-football/reviews"><strong>InStat Football</strong></a>: focused more on statistical and tactical data than device level GPS integration specifically.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/kinovea/reviews"><strong>Kinovea</strong></a>: not built around wearable integration, more of a standalone video tool, useful mainly as a budget conscious complement to a wearables platform rather than a replacement.</li>
</ol><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">For programs actually running GPS vests or wearables alongside one of these tools, how smooth was the data actually flowing between the two systems, and did you need a third tool just to bridge them?</p>

Hudl Sportscode syncing video with external data feeds, including tracking data, is a useful combination for programs that want the numbers sitting next to the film instead of in a separate report. Curious, for anyone running GPS vests alongside video, whether coaches end up reviewing load data and clips together in the same session, or whether those usually get looked at by different staff.
