What do you like best about DataVisor?

I love the control that DataVisor gives us, allowing us to build and tune rules ourselves and customize the scoring logic from end to end. It’s fantastic how we can easily add new fields or data sources and A/B test our strategies in minutes. Their machine learning models are top-notch, helping us detect fraud rings and crime networks while identifying very nuanced attack patterns. I appreciate DataVisor’s ability to handle high volume traffic with strict latency, unlike many other vendors who only claim to do so. Despite its advanced features, the platform is not hard to learn with a dedicated effort; our analysts love the UI and its explainability, while the technical team is fond of the APIs, configurability, and data freedom. Lastly, the partnership and responsiveness from the DataVisor team are commendable. They listen to us, improve based on our feedback, and proactively engage with best practices and suggestions. What do you dislike about DataVisor?

What do you like best about DataVisor?

What I appreciate most is their feature platform. Feature platform is powerful, versatile, and easy to use, allowing data scientists and ML engineers to rapidly develop complex features that can even be calculated in real time. This greatly enhances both modeling capabilities and efficiency. Additionally, the platform is highly customizable, providing a level of flexibility that is rare to find. Another standout aspect is how the platform brings together fraud detection, review, management, and analysis in one place with minimal integration effort, which I find particularly unique. What do you like best about DataVisor?

Detecting unknown fraud patterns using unsupervised machine learning as well as real-time decision-making. Also, DataVisors integrates well with existing systems, minimizing disruptions, really good implementation which is a very easy way for me to work. What do you dislike about DataVisor?

It is a bit hard to get hands on, requires some amount of time to learn it. Needs big data as back up, and price is not friendly with personal and small business users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Without the need for pre-established rules, we can detect novel and developing fraud patterns thanks to DataVisor's unsupervised machine learning. This is critical in a world where con artists are always evolving their methods. For example, we've observed that it successfully detects phony registrations and account takeovers before they can do any damage. The only downside we've encountered relates to the treatment of the type of fraud we see at the University. Our fraud isn't transactional, it's more entity-based, so use of the platform requires some accommodation from the user side.
