When I train new admins to run payroll, I like to describe DAPT as the counselor between ADP and QuickBooks Time. It seems that ADP and QB don't get along very well without DAPT coming in to help things move along, lol. I use DAPT on a weekly basis, and I appreciate the records that are quickly generated and the clarity of the interface when logging on. I wouldn't mind having more options on how the reports are generated, to be able to make them look a bit ore approachable instead of having to edit them before sending off to those who need them They are a bit techy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how most of the time we get instant responses when we send an email for assistance. It is crucial because it could delay our payroll processing deadline if we had to wait for a response. An example was on 3/25/26, when we encountered an error reloading our payroll file from Dapt on the second attempt with changes. We reached out to Victory, and she was prompt in response. I would like another method of emergency contact for Dapt aside from email. I'm always concerned it will be Victory's day off, and we only have one additional email. The GL/Accounting side was a little difficult. We still need some coding assistance from time to time. They sent us instructions for classes, but sometimes it is chart of account issues. I like that Dapt Job Costing Solution makes it simple for me, while it performs a lot of work in the background. It's great that when issues do arise, usually due to ADP changes, they are quick to respond and fix the problems. I also appreciate that most of the initial setup was handled by Dapt, making it easy for us, even though it took some time and a few trial runs. Using Dapt for integration between ADP and QBO has been helpful because it automatically shares information between QB Time, ADP, and back to QBO, placing true costs in the right categories and saving us the effort of doing it manually. Dapt has allowed us to streamline our approach to job costing. We now have employees enter their hours in QuickBooks Time, time which is then reported on and paid through ADP, and finally filtered by Dapt back into QuickBooks online, allowing us to track employee time per project more efficiently. This had been accomplished via complicated journal entry that can now be avoided. Dapt also has been able to take our employer paid benefits and taxes and also distribute them across employee hours per projects, allowing us to better track our actual labor costs.
