## About CVEDIA
CVEDIA is a leader in AI‑powered video analytics and computer vision solutions that turn raw video into actionable intelligence for security, operations, and analytics applications. Unlike many vendors that rely on off‑the‑shelf models, CVEDIA controls the full AI pipeline, from synthetic data generation and model training to deployment and continuous improvement, enabling high accuracy and robust performance even in real‑world conditions where traditional approaches often fail. At the core of CVEDIA’s technology is CVEDIA‑RT, a modular, cross‑platform AI inference engine designed for production deployment across edge devices, servers, and cloud environments. It supports a wide range of use cases including intrusion and perimeter security, object counting, crowd estimation, anomaly detection, traffic flow analysis, and more, with low false positives and real‑time responsiveness that organizations rely on. One of the key differentiators for CVEDIA is its use of proprietary synthetic data, which eliminates the traditional bottleneck of collecting and labeling real‑world datasets. Synthetic data allows the company to generate edge‑case scenarios that are difficult or impossible to capture in reality, resulting in AI models that generalize better, deploy faster, and adapt more reliably across environments. CVEDIA’s technology is hardware‑agnostic and scalable, optimized for everything from low‑power edge devices to enterprise GPU and VPU platforms. Native integrations include plugins for leading video management systems such as Milestone XProtect and Nx Witness, allowing organizations to augment their existing surveillance infrastructure with advanced analytics without requiring costly hardware upgrades. In addition to software solutions, CVEDIA offers turnkey appliances like the CVEDIA AI HUB‑8, a pre‑configured smart camera hub that combines VMS and AI analytics in one box. This appliance supports real‑time detection and alerting for people, vehicles, and other objects with no cloud dependency and no subscription fees, making it ideal for small‑to‑medium deployments where simplicity and cost efficiency matter. The company’s solutions are deployed across a broad spectrum of industries, including physical security, smart cities, transportation, defense, and enterprise environments. CVEDIA’s performance‑proven analytics are especially valued where reliability and accuracy are critical, such as in perimeter breach detection or large‑scale monitoring operations. CVEDIA’s commitment to integration and performance has also led to strategic partnerships with industry leaders in AI hardware and edge computing. Collaborations with companies like Blaize and DeepX have extended the reach of CVEDIA’s analytics to optimized inference platforms, making advanced video intelligence more accessible and cost‑effective at the edge. Beyond technology, customers appreciate CVEDIA’s deployment simplicity and flexibility. Solutions often install and configure in minutes rather than months, and analytics can run on existing camera infrastructure, significantly reducing total cost of ownership. Licensing options are designed to be customer‑friendly, with both subscription and perpetual models available to suit different deployment strategies. Headquartered in Singapore, with a global presence and partnerships spanning hardware OEMs, systems integrators, and AI platform vendors, CVEDIA continues to push the frontier of video analytics, delivering real‑time intelligence that enhances security, drives operational insights, and unlocks new value from visual data.

## CVEDIA Reviews
  ### 1. Speed and efficiency are great

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arthit B. | Data Center Operator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2024

**What do you like best about CVEDIA?**

I was looking for an algorithm for object detection for my project and I wanted it done within weeks and CVEDIA delivered the functional model in weeks. The ability to build algorithms which do not require any real data is a good thing.

**What do you dislike about CVEDIA?**

The amount of control over the training dataset, at least in part even synthetic, seems to be fairly low. In some of the tasks which need very precise recognition of an object, It was not very flexible in the modeling.

**What problems is CVEDIA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CVEDIA addresses the issue of creating computer vision models when it is impossible to gather actual data or when doing so would be wrong. This has been big help for my work, as I can quickly and easily prototype and deploy vision systems into new areas.

  ### 2. Developing computer vision solutions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tamer S. | Senior Project Analyst, Health, Wellness and Fitness, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about CVEDIA?**

The working speed of CVEDIA is very fast, and most importantly, it does not compromise on the data security of users. I was tasked with designing a counting algorithm for a new retail location, but employing field data collection was possible.

**What do you dislike about CVEDIA?**

CVEDIA has not inbuilt algorithms for basic uses such as people counting; customizations for difficult cases appear restricted. I tried to further modify it to distinguish between adult and child profiles, but it was tiresome.

**What problems is CVEDIA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The synthetic data approach used in CVEDIA solves the problem of getting real-world training data since it can be costly, tiresome or intrusive to the privacy of users. I needed to launch my store and having a custom algorithm that could be set up in just weeks helped me achieve this.

  ### 3. Safety emphasis with zero-data practice

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emanuel P. | Junior Project Manager, Construction, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2024

**What do you like best about CVEDIA?**

CVEDIA has been useful particularly when real-world data collection is a challenge, and choosing this tool I was able to get a working computer vision algorithm in a couple of weeks.

**What do you dislike about CVEDIA?**

Solving the case with generated algorithms doesn’t appear to have a wide range of choices for customization. There were few parameters to fine-tune or many ways to incorporate domain knowledge to the training process.

**What problems is CVEDIA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CVEDIA solves the problem of training computer vision algorithms when obtaining such data is either impossible or unfeasible. For my work involving autonomous robots in a controlled environment this has been extremely helpful.
