THE SPEED and setting us up to tailor rich user experiences moving forward. **What do you dislike about Crystallize?** The downsides are the same things that make it great. The whole ecosystem being an exclusively headless first system makes all integrations and implementations require highly customized solutions. This drew us to a headless system in the first place due to our business logic requirements. Still, the variability in quality and documentation of 3rd party APIs makes this a part of the process that needs considerable attention and monitoring. **What problems is Crystallize solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves our basic PIM, CMS and order management needs, but it excels in speed, availability and experience. ### 2. The fundaments of CMS and PIM is modelling data, making it accessible in the front-end. The way Crystallize has handled this is awesome - flexible and making it extremely easy for developers, content editors and information architects to collaborate on the data structure. Another benefit is in fact that developers love to work with the product. **What do you dislike about Crystallize?** If you are familiar with traditional CMS/PIM/eCommerce products the learning curve could be quite steep. You have to think in a very different way, as the product is very flexible and there are many opportunities when it comes to the data modelling part. **What problems is Crystallize solving and how is that benefiting you?** The combination of CMS, PIM and eCommerce is great. It's a big advantage that we can work in one system that can handle all three. The APIs are extremely fast and easy to work with, which our developers love. This is an important reason for us choosing the product. Crystallize is a modern headless system that provides the flexibility we need when working with a complex product data structure. It gives us the agility to build new channels and services in a speed we would not have been able to do with traditional monolith systems. ### 3. Been using Crystallize more than a year now. Quick APIs and fail-proof features. It is probably one of the best CMSs out there and combining that with products and orders, makes the platform extremely potent. **What do you dislike about Crystallize?** Graphql APIs could be consolidated a bit - currently they are separated between the Catalogue and Search which could make sense to consolidate. I am also missing a pure integration API - the ones they have is fit for purpose but this is an area for improvement if you want to optimize your integrations with the platform. **What problems is Crystallize solving and how is that benefiting you?** They provide the tool sets for creating inspirational sites. Any marketing team, developer or e-commerce manager will be very excited to onboard on Crystallize. ### 4. Some parts might need further developments, like order management in tenants, but nothing that I dislike. **What problems is Crystallize solving and how is that benefiting you?** Used for several webshops both for B2B and B2C. Easy to get up and running with the boilerplates that they offering. ### 5. With Crystallize we have the combination of easy management of rich product content connected with a smooth shopping experience for the customer. As Crystallize delivers all product information with a GraphQL API it is very easy for our frontend developers to fully customize the shopping experience. **What do you dislike about Crystallize?** The reporting in Crystallize is currently baisc, however the export enables us to get all the information in e.g. Excel when needed. **Recommendations to others considering Crystallize:** Crystallize is ideal ecommerce back-end when you want to build a tailor made frontend experiencec in e.g. React. This means that you have to have access to front-end developers to build your tailor made frontend. **What problems is Crystallize solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to market and sell our range of bicycles and parts online. We also use Crystallize to drive the core of our content strategy with stories and videos supporting the product. ### 7. But they have export to other systems like Excel so we can easily get the numbers we are looking for. I know this is something that is being improved in the platform soon though. **Recommendations to others considering Crystallize:** Build a POC on Crystallize and you will quickly see if it can handle your business. It is very quick to develop on and easily customisable. **What problems is Crystallize solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a media house and a publisher. We sell magazines as a subscription and we have subscriptions for our online magazine. We also sell products that are related to our magazine which we sell in our webshop. All powered by Crystallize. ### 8. Even in times where we have a lot of traffic the site is still fast and reliable. **What do you dislike about Crystallize?** The admin interface could be simplified, but I believe this is a work in progress. **What problems is Crystallize solving and how is that benefiting you?** Now we are building a subscription service that makes it easier for our customers to order supplements on a automatic monthly basis.
