There isn't an option to modify a whole series of shifts at once, so you have to update each shift individually or delete the entire series and start over. When employees leave and we want to replace them, it still adds users, which is really annoying. Switching out users and archiving them means losing everything done under their name, which doesn't help either. It's also really expensive for all the features we need. Separating the communication lines of in-house from outside sources has really improved our ability to engage with our staff and indirectly made reading emails a lot less daunting too. Not having to sort through reply chains is so nice, departmental communications and memos are a couple clicks away rather than a huge headache. Allowing different subscriptions tiers for different features is incredibly convenient when taking a small business budget into consideration. In the end, its the reason we went with Connecteam. While I don't blame them, the salespeople tried to sell me on the full version of the product which was not required for my small business. They went as far to say if we didn't purchase the full, much more expensive versions, it probably wouldn't work out. I felt that the onboarding process was less personal and comprehensive than expected, particularly since we were part of the second group in a franchise rollout. The first group apparently received more training, whereas we had minimal training unless we proactively sought it out. Its ease of use is significant for both myself and my staff, as it ensures everyone can access it seamlessly through the mobile app. The time tracking feature is especially helpful, as staff can clock in and out, manage their lunch breaks, and generate timesheets effortlessly.
