**What do you like best about CompUp?**

We evaluated several options, but chose them because of their flexibility, intuitive interface, and strong C&B capabilities. Their solution offered the right balance between functionality and ease of use, and they clearly understood our specific HR needs better than others. Their support team has been excellent — responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive. A real ‘wow’ moment was when they helped us roll out a custom bonus structure in just two days. We genuinely felt they were invested in our success, not just delivering a product.

**What do you dislike about CompUp?**

One area where they could improve is reducing backend dependencies. A more flexible, DIY approach in some modules would empower HR teams to make quick changes without relying heavily on support

**What problems is CompUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CompUp helped us automate and streamline our appraisal process, which was previously manual and time-consuming. With their platform, we now have better control, visibility, and consistency across performance reviews. It has significantly reduced administrative effort, improved transparency, and made the entire appraisal cycle more efficient for both HR and employees.

**What do you like best about CompUp?**

We were given an excellent team for our implementation at EQT Corporation.  They were extremely dedicated and committed to meeting an extremely tight deadline with a high level of quality.

**What do you dislike about CompUp?**

CompUp is a smaller company and has not yet encountered all of the use-cases that may be relevant in their field.  They are working to enhance functionality all of the time.

Providing a way for the end users to seamlessly make compensation recommendations that flow through the approval workflow and balance to the provided budget.

**What do you like best about CompUp?**

The best thing about team CompUp is the flexibilty to customize the software as per our teams requirement.

Our team used to run the entire merit planning exercise in more than 50+ different spreadsheets. Not only we were able to bring all of them together on CompUp but also we were able to streamline many of our rewards processes through the tool.
One of the very unique features about CompUp is their ability to simulate the appraisal processes and budgets.We are now able to run different budget scenarios and are able to send these for approval. Once approved it automatically transforms to become the appraisal manager's budget which is so much easier compared to doing this over an excel sheet and then uploading the sheet on any tool for executing the cycle.

**What do you dislike about CompUp?**

To be honest there is not much here to dislike but one thing that can be improved is the ability to access compensation benchmarks. Right now they have benchmarks available for India. Once they expand to their benchmarks network to other geographies it will be very much helpful.

CompUp solves four major problems for us:
- Create and share our internal salary bands
- Plan merit cycles via simulations
- Execute merit cycles by collaborating with appraisal managers over the platform

**What do you like best about CompUp?**

While most compensation plantforms are built with the finance & compensation teams in mind, compUp is built for the ultimate user the employee. It has helped my team run comensation cycles without any hassle for both first time and seasoned managers.

It also integrates with the HRMS systems to ensure easy flow of data with minimal human intervention.

Customer support has been top notch with hte team member available all through each step of the implementation.

Finally the pricing is also extremely attractive.

**What do you dislike about CompUp?**

This is still a product that is evolving so compensation leader should spend time with the team to build it as per their specification. This is actually not a problem just something for leaders to be mindful of.

**What do you like best about CompUp?**

CompUp has been like our colleague who is there to support on all the aspects related to our rewards processes. We have completely come out of manual ways of doing our compensation.
We can now be more confident of the confidentiality of information that is being shared across the teams.

**What do you dislike about CompUp?**

CompUp should also try to increase the number of integrations it has with applicant tracking systems that are smaller in market presence. Fortunatley we were using Workday which CompUp integrates really well with.

**What problems is CompUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that CompUp has solved for us is that of eliminating the need for manual tasks that happen in silos. We were able to reduce the manual tasks that led to drastic reduction in the time that it takes to complete our merit planning exercise. Once the merit cycle is completed, CompUp is also able to auto-generate the reward letters which saves us a week's effort again.

Several important concerns in the hiring process are being efficiently addressed by HireSure.ai. By offering insights into the causes of candidate rejects, it first addresses the issue of losing applicants after an offer. CompUp has completely redifined the way we do compensation planning. We used to struggle during our appraisal cycles because it was extremely difficult to complete the cycle on time.

Since the time we have implemented CompUp, we rarely move out of the system for any of our comp processes. Implementation took less than 2 weeks of time. We also integrated the tool with our HRIS system seamlessly to avoid any manual uploads.

The best part about team CompUp is also their implementation and customer success team. We are assisted by not just a CSM and project manager but also a rewards specialist who understood our requirements and was able to assist us at each step.

**What do you dislike about CompUp?**

CompUp should build an indigenous bench,arking network for non Indian companies too. As of now their benchmarking data is limited to Indian companies.

**What problems is CompUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CompUp solves the biggest problem of our Rewards teams, that is compensation data management and running merit cycles seamlessly.

Now all our appraisal managers can collaborate on the same place to submit recommendations and execute increments. Prior to using this tool our team used to spend countless hours in sending recommendations and getting approvals.

The platform is very very easy to navigate. It was so seamless to transition our processes from spreadsheets to the platform.

This platform has truly transformed our rewards processes. The platform's visually appealing digital offer experience allowed us to seamlessly convey the nuances of our rewards policy, from base pay to ESOPs. 
I have been getting multiple messages from our employees 

With this tool, we showcased potential growth to candidates, significantly boosting Candidate NPS and reducing offer declines.

**What do you dislike about CompUp?**

There is not much that I can talk about disliking the platform as this is the only software which honestly offered more than what we wanted. Also with the features in product roadmap, I think this is going to be by far the most comprehensive comp software.

**What problems is CompUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that this software solved for us was that it eliminated the use of excel sheets for running our compensation processes. It has significantly improved our rewards processes by reducing the time to plan and execute merit cycles.

I simply love the way this platform is built for users. It is extremely user friendly and easy to use. Even though training is provided to the team, but the platform's UX is self explanatory and our team is in love with their interface.

I find this software to be a remarkable tool that adeptly oversees the majority of our rewards team's ops. This is a one stop solution for all our compensation processes.

While there were many tools available we chose them becasue they were the ones who were able to bring all our workflows on the system. All other vendors still had gaps.
This tool's ability to integrate with all our systems and provide such crucial people insights is phenomenal.

**What do you dislike about CompUp?**

There are no particular things that we can claim to dislike about this platform because it pretty much does everything that we wanted to do. One thing that would want them to add is sales incentive planning.

There is a list of problems that it solves for us. All of it starts with bringing all our comp data in a single platform. And then the following:
- Building our compensation bands across org w.r.t market benchmarks
- Running budget simulations for different budgets
- Running merit cycles by collaborating with different stakeholders withing the company
- DEI and People analytics dashboards
- Automatically generating reward letters
- Offer roll out to candidates

Compup as a platform has been a one stop solution for me & my team. Their Complimentary benchmarking platform provides us with access to market benchmarks which helps in better hiring & appraisal decisions. Then the DOE platform makes our offers standout where we dont even have to engage with the candidates & all tasks of our team are automated with the help of this platform. probbaly everything for an HR & total rewards professional. Also,Bhavesh has been really good in providing timely assistance.

CompUp shines with its benchmarking data tailored specifically for leading Indian startups. Please keep in mind that its focus is exclusively on this sector, and it doesn't offer data for other types of companies

Compup is solving a major problem to eliminate spreadsheets for better appraisal planning along with their Complimentary benchmarking data to make data driven decisions. On top of that having a tool to roll out offers & engagements on automation just makes it the best platform to use. **What do you like best about CompUp?**

CompUp has one of the most intuitive and easy to use user interface. There is very little to no training needed to be able to use the software because the UX is self explanatory.
However, team CompUp did provide us with training during the implementation period.

From participating in benchmarking, to creating compensation bands, to running merit increase cycles and to finally communicating compensation to employees and candidates, CompUp is able to do it all.

**What do you dislike about CompUp?**

CompUp has one of the most exhaustive compensation benchmarks for Indian companies available for free. However benchmarks for other geographies are not indigenous to CompUp. We have to participate in benchmarking surveys with other vendores for the same. Would be great of CompUp provided that too.

**What problems is CompUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had to collaborate with so many different people within the company to complete our appraisal process. This used to eat up a lot of our time. With CompUp we can now comoplete all of that seamlessly within a short span of time. Also we used to to use mail merge for generating reward letters once the cycle was over. Mail merge used to fail a lot of times and hence was unreliable. 
CompUp has a feature of automatically generating the reward letters based upon the template. This has saved us a lot of time in generating reward letters.

**What do you like best about CompUp?**

Their platform has proven to be an all-inclusive solution catering to the majority of our reward team's requirements. By consolidating compensation benchmarking, digital offer experience, and compensation management, we've transitioned from relying on multiple vendors to using CompUp's comprehensive platform for these use cases. The ability to execute multiple tasks within a unified platform has undeniably streamlined our reward operations, contributing to enhanced efficiency in our merit increments and band sharing. Hence I say that it is the most complete compensation management platform

**What do you dislike about CompUp?**

Well nothing specific to dislike as of now because I have seen almost every other comp management tool and honestly this one is the only tool that satified all our criteria. In fact this has more than what we expected.

**What problems is CompUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary and foremost problem that this software has solved for us is to bring all our comp data in one place. Secondly, we were managing tens of excel sheets to complete our merit cycles. Some other comp tools were able to eliminate 70% of those spreadsheets, but this software eliminated all. Another beautiful thing about them is that they have also enabled our TA teams to manage the entire offer communication flow to our candidates. This is something which is not there in any other comp tool.

**What do you like best about CompUp?**

Their software enabled our company to combine all our compensation data in one single platform. Our offer data, employee data and market data all in one place for us to be able to take more scientific and data driven decisions. 

- I was able to eliminate all of my spreadsheets and complete every single process on the platform more collaboratively

- The most interesting part about their software is that it is built in a manner that the team was able to customize it to perfectly match our needs. We didn't even have to change a single process of ours to use the platform.

- Also, the deep people analytics that the system was able to provide solved my use case for presenting my appraisal planning to my board.

- Their implementation team is hands on. They assist every account with rewards specialist which eases the process of setting up and manager trainings.

I'd strongly recommend every rewards professional to take a look at this software before finalizing on a comp tool.

**What do you dislike about CompUp?**

Well this is too soon to judge as we have been using this since about 10 months now. One thing that can be improved is that they should also add another module of flexible benefits. As of now they integrate with our flexi benefits partner to showcase total rewards portal but it will be a lot better if they built an in house flexi rewards feature.

**What problems is CompUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software has been able to eliminate my problem of handling multiple complex excel sheets that used to take ages for me. Becasue of this software I am now able to more confidently share comp data with different stakeholders such as TA team, appraisal managers and employees. Another major problem that it has solved is that of planning of a merit cycle via multiple budet simulations that I can create on the platform.

**What do you like best about CompUp?**

The tool provides completely flexibilty based on our requirements. The tools provide you with all the necessary features that one would need in a compensation management software such as building salary bands, running merit cycles and communicating increments.

The best part about doing all of this in CompUp is that the tool is extremely customizable to suit my company processes.

CompUp provides market benchmarks for only one geography. For other geographies we have to plugin our market benchmarks from other vendors like Mercer and Aon. It would be great if CompUp is able to build benchmarks for other geographies as well.

The biggest problem CompUp is solving for us is that of compensation data management within the organisation. For an organisation like our's with over 5000+ employees it becomes extremely cumbersome to manage compensation data flow between the teams over spreadsheets.

It provides unmatched data which is specific to Indian Funded startups. This data serves as an invaluable asset in appraisal and hiring. However, I personally feel that there are less data points in the executive levels. I would want to see more data over there.

We have seen an increase in the offer to joinee ratio. It has eased my hiring process. Candidate experiece has bcome better. It shows too much info about the organisation before the candidate joins. I am super happy with the TAT by Rahul Rai , always approachable.

Nothing that I came across as such. We cannot design the engagement by our own branding team and the dependency is upon CompUp. So we end up spending more time to structure the engagement.
Platform seems to be well built, but there can be some room for improvement.

CompUp has been an invaluable tool for us in conducting appraisal surveys. The main reason for us to use Compup is mainly for their easy simulations which eliminates 3 to 4 months of work. It decreases the budgeting from 3 to 4 months to 3 to 4 weeks.

I am awaiting the smooth transition from CompUp to benchmarking which can be very useful for me. This can also ensure us to give fair appraisals and reduce pay parity in our organization.

CompUp's budget simulations provided us with a valuable opportunity to explore various strategies for salary increments. These simulations proved instrumental in guiding us toward optimizing our budget allocation, ensuring that each employee received a well-deserved raise aligned with their performance, thereby enhancing overall job satisfaction.

This is the only tool where I found this feature of simulations. No other comp solution had this module.

**What do you dislike about CompUp?**

The software integrates with all the major HRIS and ATS and Performance management systems. However, our organisation was using an in built HRIS software. And we did not have open APIs. Hence it was slightly tough to set up the integrations initially.
But I guess that has nothing to do with CompUp. It was a fault at our end.

**What problems is CompUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software solves the problem of conducting our merit cycles in the most efficient manner. The software allows us to run multiple budget simulations and get the same approved from our board by sharing analytics around the same.
It also facilitates collaboration with our appraisal managers in getting their increment recommendations which is quite seamlesss. We are able to finally see all our compensation metrics in a single software.

Compup is a very easy platform to use. It is a one stop solution to all the budgeting problems in the organization. Upgrading ourselves from working in spreadsheets to automatic simulations makes the job easier.

The benchmarking data consists of data of all the departments. However, I would also like to see data from different regions which makes it easier for us to use it through the country.

Usage of CompUp has decreased manual errors by a huge difference, sharing of the spreadsheets to different individuals turned out to be a huge task where it was susceptible to leaking of data. But now, as an admin I can control who gets access to the sheet and all the history is visible. Appraisal process has never been easier.

I don't have much to dislike about the platform since it was the only software that offered more than what we needed. The features in the product roadmap make this by far the most comprehensive software.

The integration process can be time-consuming, especially if you have an internal ATS. This was primarily due to the initial lack of support from our APIs. However, through collaborative efforts from both teams, we eventually managed to overcome this hurdle and achieve successful integration.

Due to the seamless functionality of the platform, we rarely encounter any issues; everything works smoothly for the most part but incase if we face any issue the support from the CSM team has been incredible. Their approach has consistently been proactive rather than reactive.
