I dislike that when a positive hit for a sanctioned individual or an individual with adverse media appears, there is no way to select just that hit. The PDF printout shows every name, inclusive of the positive hits, which can be confusing. While ComplyAdvantage is a useful tool for screening entities, there are a few areas that could be improved. A very simple and easy-to-use platform which has helped our business manage sanctions and compliance on a large scale, across a range of teams and geographical locations. The only comment I would have about the platform as a whole is the Search Certificate document that is created once a compliance check is made - this could more clearly show the result of the check so as to easily show that the entity has been approved. Having used ComplyAdvantage daily since October 2021, across two different roles that I have worked in, I can say that one of the best features of the platform is its ease of use, especially as a Compliance professional who doesn't have time to struggle with obscure, difficult to use platforms. The procedure to release new rules, from the testing, simulation and deployment can be a bit challenging sometimes, and in many occasions we had to rely on ComplyAdvantage support which would defeat the purpose of a self-service platform and speed.
