Who is Cloudbeds pricing best suited for?

Cloudbeds pricing is best suited for small independent hospitality operators, particularly those managing one to five properties across multiple OTA channels. The overwhelming majority of G2 reviewers are small businesses in hospitality, including boutique hotels, inns, B&Bs, and vacation rentals. G2 reviewers consistently highlight multi-property switching, channel manager stability, and ease of staff training as the highest-value features for this segment. One G2 reviewer explicitly recommended Cloudbeds for properties under 50 rooms. Mid-market hospitality operators also appear in G2 reviews with positive sentiment, though some note gaps in accounting integration and advanced reporting that may push larger operations toward more enterprise-grade alternatives.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Cloudbeds?

Cloudbeds offers no free tier. According to G2's pricing data for Cloudbeds, pricing is custom-quoted with no publicly listed tiers. G2 reviewers note that certain capabilities, including group reservations and staff training through Cloudbeds University, may not be included by default and require negotiation or additional cost. One G2 reviewer flagged that group reservations were absent from their initial agreement and had to be added separately. Add-on modules appear to be priced incrementally. Prospective buyers should clarify during sales exactly which features, OTA connections, training resources, and integrations are bundled versus billed separately, as the custom-quote model creates variability in what each customer actually receives.

Is Cloudbeds considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers of Cloudbeds broadly indicate strong value, particularly for small independent properties managing multi-channel distribution. The all-in-one consolidation of PMS, channel manager, booking engine, and guest communication eliminates the cost of stitching together separate tools, which G2 users cite repeatedly as a core benefit. High ratings dominate among small hospitality operators. However, some G2 reviewers flag friction points: add-ons priced separately, weak accounting integration requiring third-party connectors at extra cost, and reporting limitations. One reviewer explicitly noted paying more for features like guest merging. For lean multi-property operators, Cloudbeds pricing of Cloudbeds delivers clear ROI; for larger properties needing deep accounting or advanced reporting, value diminishes.

What do you like best about Cloudbeds?

The automation, easiness and the speed are the best qualities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cloudbeds?

There isn’t much to dislike. That said, it needs to offer more personalization so I can create better reports for complex administrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Cloudbeds?

They use Stripe as a credit card processor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cloudbeds?

Human support is nonexistent. A primitive chatbot is your only resort. Chats turn into support tickets that are forgotten about.

Managing your own ads is prohibited. In an effort to generate extra revenue, Cloudbeds has held our advertising accounts hostage. In the past 30 days, the PMax campaign they manage has generated 0 reservations. And I cannot see behind the curtain. They just keep charging my credit card for clicks. Cloudbeds has my TripAdvisor and Google Ads locked down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
