**What do you like best about Cloud Coach?**

I've had the opportunity to use Cloud Coach in Salesforce. It is a  truly comprehensive tool for project management.
One of the standout features is the collaboration functionality. Team members can easily communicate within the tool, share updates, and collaborate on tasks. This not only streamlines communication but also enhances team productivity. The ability to use cards also helps with scheduling a large team.

**What do you dislike about Cloud Coach?**

It has a long learning curve - I found it really hard to use at first.

**What problems is Cloud Coach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tool seamlessly integrates with other Salesforce modules and external applications, enhancing its overall functionality. We use Salesforce everyday, so it is great to have this feature inside Salesforce. The integration ensures that project management is not isolated but connected to other aspects of our business, creating a holistic approach to project execution.

What I find particularly beneficial is the level of customization the tool offers. You can tailor the project management process to match your specific workflow and business requirements. This flexibility ensures that the tool adapts to your needs instead of the other way around.

Project templates - allow flexibility for different types of projects for our company.

Task dependencies - ensure the proper process is followed for project execution, every time.

Salesforce platform - integrates seamlessly with our Salesforce org.

Customer support - very responsive and solutions-oriented.

**What do you dislike about Cloud Coach?**

Cost of licensing and data sharing rules are a little restrictive. Navigation can be a little slow/lots of clicks.

**What problems is Cloud Coach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud Coach helps us follow a consistent project process for installation work, ensuring no critical steps are missed along the way. Work Types help ensure the right person is assigned to the right task as well.

Initial set up takes time and as a small organization we could not offer this tool to staff outside out project team.

**What do you like best about Cloud Coach?**

As a project manager, it is very useful to have everything in one place and that's exactly what Cloudcoach provides. The time entry, resourcing and the enhancements to the different project types have been great. The dashboards and reports were the most exciting to take away from this years conference and it is a great way to make our business more profitable.

**What do you dislike about Cloud Coach?**

I do not like that it won't allow us filter exactly what the external contacts can see when we add external deliverables. That could be a disadvantage when we have internal notes/content in there

Time tracking/ approvals, Gantts and especially templates

**What do you like best about Cloud Coach?**

I like that Cloud Coach is integrated into Salesforce as an application. Because it's built in, it improves user adoption as most are already familiar with the interface and general functionality. This also makes customization more straightforward as an admin and we can enhance our org with resources in-house. I've also really enjoyed working with the Cloud Coach team. They were with us every step of the way during the deployment process and have continued to guide us through the experience almost a year into our implementation.

**What do you dislike about Cloud Coach?**

I don't have anything that I dislike about Cloud Coach. Some of our users have mentioned that there is a learning curve, but that's to be expected with any new implementation. Overall, I have been very satisfied with Cloud Coach.

**What problems is Cloud Coach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have many users from all over the business that need access to projects and completing tasks at various stages. Since many of these users are already in Salesforce, it makes cross-collaborating more efficient and effective.

**What do you like best about Cloud Coach?**

Cloud Coach is friendly both for our end users and SF Admins. We like the visual and functional beauty of the product, as well as the automation we can create for our processes. We have an amazing customer success manager, Megan, who takes very good care of all our needs and we have had very minimal interuptions to our day-to-day work because of bugs or glitches -- a HUGE improvement from the system we were using before.

**What do you dislike about Cloud Coach?**

Salesforce can be ridged so that limits Cloud Coach in some ways. I wish we could customize even further. Our biggest issue was the way Cloud Coach handles task dependancies, but it wasn't ultimately a deal-breaker for us.

**What problems is Cloud Coach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can consolidate many enterprise-wide processes in one place with Cloud Coach - specifically it enables us to do proper portfolio and project mangement, including resource management and time tracking.

Modifying timelines is a bit tedious when using the list view as you have to click page by page to get to what you need vs everything visable on one page or a scroll bar

It's very convenien to submit timesheets and to use My Day to view your tasks, how many hours you submitted and organize your day. 
We also love the visibility over the hours used for each project, estimated vs logged. It's great to be able to report on this.

**What do you dislike about Cloud Coach?**

Would be nice to have a more intuitive interface and a more complex dashdoard with all projects.

**What problems is Cloud Coach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud Coach helped us organize our projects, tasks and resources. We are now able to prioritize  better and get visibility of projects, resources and the hours submitted.

**What do you like best about Cloud Coach?**

Cloud Coach offers an easy and customizable way for our delivery team to track time against their work, with Cloud Coach sitting on top of Salesforce we also can report on projects to our finance and executive leadership teams. Cloud Coach also offers superb customer support, when we have a question, we do not have to wait long for an answer.

**What do you dislike about Cloud Coach?**

There is not a lot to dislike about Cloud Coach, the moment I find myself wondering why the tool cannot do something I need I follow up with my CSM and more often then not it is not a tool limitation but a limitation on my knowledge.

**What problems is Cloud Coach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud Coach is solving our organizations problem of living in Google sheets to track customer builds. With Cloud Coach we can easily manage our customer projects and provide excellent reports to our leadership team. The ease of use for our project management team and the ability to provide key detail reports to management simplifies my job and allows me to focus on other aspects of our business.

**What do you like best about Cloud Coach?**

The level of detail you can add to any aspect of the project, allowing our organization to really streamline how projects are managed.
The integration with Salesforce, providing the ability to surface Opportunity information tied to each project.
The insights into every project that are made possible with Cloud Coach which have allowed us to surface metrics to show how efficient & consistent we are in project management across the org.

**What do you dislike about Cloud Coach?**

CC presents a tough learning curve.  Our onboarding experience, prior to Brian Poynter, wasn't all that beneficial in hindsight.  We weren't provided with the necessary tools and resources we needed from the onset to be successful right away.  We could have used more guidance and recommendations on best practices and use of the new tool.
However, after a year in Cloud Coach, and regular meetings with Brian Poynter and Cloud Coach support, we are catching our groove and finding what works best for our organization.  The learning curve is still large for the end user, but I feel fully equipped with everything I need from the Cloud Coach team to assist in improving the end user experience.

**What problems is Cloud Coach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can now report on countless project metrics.  Ultimately, CC is providng data we didn't have access to before, and helping us standardize our approach in project management, as well as allowing us to become more efficient.

**What do you like best about Cloud Coach?**

Cloud Coach has empowered my team to streamline workflows and greatly improve our reporting capabilities to our executive leadership, especially regarding key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On Time, On Budget, and On Quality, as well as Gross Margin metrics. Additionally, it has notably increased project visibility for colleagues across the company who hold a Cloud Coach license. For the most part, the tool is easy for our teams to use to manage their projects.

**What do you dislike about Cloud Coach?**

We've encountered some limitations with Cloud Coach's out-of-the-box functionality. Fortunately, with our dedicated internal Salesforce team, we've managed to overcome many challenges. However, this could pose a potential issue for companies lacking similar resources to creatively address such challenges. The implementation phase has been challenging, but now that we have optimized many of our templates, we are finding the teams have been able to use the tool effectively.

Standardizing the implementation process across various resources and offering crucial visibility and insights into key performance indicators (KPIs).

**What do you like best about Cloud Coach?**

Since moving to Cloud Coach our onboarding team has been able to bring our projects and processes into our Salesforce org. We're now able to combine project reporting with account management, customer success, and support data. Being able to provide leadership teams with appropriate dashboards in a tool they're all familiar with has been a big time saver and now they can pull what they need without a request for the team to put a report together.

I'd love to see more flexibility around adding tasks without associating hours and more qualitative project note features.

The integration with Salesforce and the ability to interconnect processes and workflows. Implementation was pretty smooth. Our customer success manager is great.

**What do you dislike about Cloud Coach?**

There are little anomalies that appear at times clicking through screens. These can be hard to track down and resolve. There are a plethora of ways to view content. Sometimes this is confusing for users.

We displaced a product that was difficult to customize and scale as the business needs changed. We are able to integrate into salesforce which streamlines our end to end processes.

**What do you like best about Cloud Coach?**

The native integration with Salesforce will help streamline our organization's operations, and we particularly appreciated that consultants we already work with in Salesforce were able to get certified in Cloud Coach and then support our implementation. Cloud Coach's team have been engaged during implementation and are supporting our consultants to customize the platform to our needs.

**What do you dislike about Cloud Coach?**

We are needing to work through more customization and setup than I'd hoped. In particular, we are trying achieve task-based planning with month-level time tracking & finances. We would also like to be able to split the total estimated hours on tasks by the number of hours, not just a percentage.

**What problems is Cloud Coach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have too many different systems to manage sales, finances, time tracking, capacity and projects across the firm, and needed to consolidate those into one shared system. Our primary goal was to find something simple and intuitive for our staff that meets these needs. We are still in the implementation phase, but with time Cloud Coach should be able to do all of these things for us, or integrate with the other platforms we use like Salesforce.

**What do you like best about Cloud Coach?**

I had demos of a few other PM tools and found Cloud Coach to be very user-intuitive. I especially like the "external project view" feature where anyone can access basic project information. The other cool feature is meeting notes to document meeting minutes and quickly send out the summary to stakeholders. With the power of Salesforce, you can create custom fields to store attributes at the project, phase, subphase, task level and more. Together with salesforce reports, these custom attributes will enable the metrics you seek to track. We also store all project related documents and links to the document repository in cloud coach.

**What do you dislike about Cloud Coach?**

Most of the previous dislikes have been addressed with new releases. The tool just keeps getting better!

Implementation can be costly. However, post implementation, your salesforce admin can help maintain the expand the system.

**What problems is Cloud Coach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run a sample processing lab for the biopharma industry. Before cloud coach, we were using smartsheets as our project management tool. We were unable to report on simple things like turnaround time for specific type of tasks. We can't even get a hollistic view of all project timelines. It was a nightmare! Cloud Coach enabled us to have complete view and control of all projects and timelines. We've baked in automation such as email alerts and approval processes. We can even report on timesheets and expenses. For groups that are using Jira, we've also integrated Jira with Cloud Coach/Salesforce.

**What do you like best about Cloud Coach?**

Cloud Coach REALLY can scale with your business as it matures. It works great as a basic project planning tool for teams that just need to punch through tasks, and I've also used it in budgeted projects and managing both Fixed Fee and Time & Material billing. The time tracking is great as well, very easy to adopt and really helps understand your team's utilization and billable utilization.

It is very easy to implement and the fact that it integrates directly into your Salesforce environment means you can harvest INCREDIBLY valuable data very quickly about any projects being managed.

**What do you dislike about Cloud Coach?**

Honestly, not much. I've used Cloud Coach for over 9 years and multiple companies and it is so easy for teams to start using.

**What problems is Cloud Coach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internal visibilility and alignment absolutely. One thing that I've often heard at teams without a robut PM tool is "Why can't Onboarding/Implementation just be faster?". This tool can very easily show the organization WHERE projects are being held up, who is responsible for advancing the progress, and what aspects of the project (customer, budget, timeline, etc) are unhealthy.

The native Salesforce integration has been extremely helpful. It allows our Salesforce records to be automatically updated when the Cloud Coach project changes.

We use it with Salesforce to do development project management.
We also use it for tracking tickets.
Salesforce chatter support is the only reason we got Cloud Coach.

hard to see the critical path for one employee, its hard.
hard to drag and drop tasks on the project plan.
Completed future tasks move the task back to current time and makes a mess of the plan.
Support is in another country, so english is there second language, so it can be hard to understand.

Since it integrates with Salesforce and Chatter it is very helpful. We had to create custom code flows to get our Salesforce to create tickets in a project. Works nicely now.
Project management is used throughout our team to track multiple employees and tasks.

It is not intuitive, has unnecessary clicks to do every task, extremely limited reporting (not due to SFDC but issues with CC), poor resourcing and metric tracking, and is terrible to maintain. Having used and implemented numerous PSAs and PM systems, this is by far the worst I have encountered.

In our business, we must report actuals to clients on a weekly basis with details around where the hours are being incurred.  The Kanban boards with the Cards feature allows us to track estimates/ETC's and actual time at an itemized level for easy reporting back to the client.

Our team does not need to use Cards for every client engagement and can simply use the Tasks for time reporting.  There isn't an eay way to report on all time grouped by Task or Card in the same view.

Allows us to track project tasks and milestones in a central collaborative space and gets the team out of spreasheets for tracking.
