As a small business owner with an advisory and tax office, I am now able to see exactly how much time I spend on each customer. Many times, I have multiple emails sent to different customers. I’m working on lots of administrations and using several software tools that I can now easily assign to projects and customers. This allows me to decide if the time is billable or included in our agreement, ensuring that nothing is forgotten.

At first, I tried Clockk as a trial, and after the first day, I was already amazed. The next day, my colleagues tried it, and they had the same feeling. Of course, we wanted to test it a bit more. We had a two-week trial, but after just a week of using it—and already having additional billable hours (most likely forgotten because you just do the work for your customer)—we signed up for a year.

Clockk has really changed my work life. My wife always said that I work too much, and I insisted it wasn’t that much (I thought about 6 effective hours per day). With Clockk, I noticed it’s more like 10 hours per day, including weekends. You know that feeling when, at the end of the day, you feel like you didn’t accomplish much because of all the little things you forget? Well, be ready for a (positive) change!

Clockk is a game-changer when it comes to tracking and billing my time as an consultant. Clockk helps me figure out where I've spent my time, and automatically assigns it to client projects for me. Once it knows which Google ads account, report, spreadsheet, app, website, file, etc., etc., should have its time tracked for each client, it takes care of the rest.

Their new Freshbooks integration is awesome! I no longer use start-stop timers, and don't have to worry about all the 5-minute bits of my day that otherwise wouldn't end up on my invoices.

At first it can seem a bit chaotic because you have to train the AI, which should be expected with any new tool. It's easy to do with their drag-and-drop view of my day's activity. If you have projects already in Freshbooks, then it will sync those to Clockk, but otherwise you can create projects directly in Clockk. Once you do that, it's pretty slick. When Clockk is running (and it can be turned off when you're not working), it captures the programs being run and websites visited. I work on projects for several different clients during the day, and I don't block out my time - while one process is running, I switch to another client's work. Clockk really helps me capture ALL my time so I can bill accurately. I tend to underestimate otherwise.

Clockk's time-to-project assignment can be set up in advance for regular work. Anything not automatically assigned is shown on an activity panel, from which it can be assigned manually. As much as I hate time tracking, using Clockk makes my world easier.

The only downside is that I use my PC for both work and play, and I turn off Clockk when I game. I forget to turn it back on. That's on me, though. I don't know what they could do about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Super easy to track websites, files, application usage and emails about specific projects and clients. Very easy to jump from one project to another, and the AI automatically learns and assigns the time to the project. Excellent reporting and time sheets with a beautiful design. It doesn't have an option to invoice yet, but I believe they might add it in a future update. The developers are continually working to improve clockk, listen to users' feedback, and give excellent and fast support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been on the lookout for a time-tracking tool that will simply do what it should without too much manual interference and I'm glad to say, that my search has come to an end with CLOKK.

There is a slight learning curve to using the Clockk time tracker software. Once I understood how to use it, I was blown away. It was much more powerful than I originally thought.

I work with 10-15 clients at a time, and Clockk automatically tracks and assigns tasks to each client. I benchmarked Clockk against my existing workflow, and it finds me around an hour a day of billable time I forgot or underestimated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Given its low price point, there's not much I dislike. It's simple and does what I need.

That said, I would be interested in an integration with Xero so I could automatically generate an invoice at the end of each month. Right now I just pull the totals and make my own invoice, which takes all of 2 minutes per client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
