What I find most helpful is the ability to create accession numbers if I accidentally delete them or need to accept samples for verification. The engineers are really easy to reach and willing to help even if it takes some time to work through the question/problem. They are also willing to do follow up calls if they don't know the answer at the time of the initial call. They are great about not letting anything fall through the cracks and get forgotten. You can also save reports that you run often in the same way which is also helpful. There are a lot of menu options and sometimes the thing you are looking for is hidden in a place where you might not look first. It's essential that users access the functions and information they need as quickly as possible. The software system should never stand in the way of an efficient laboratory. Speaking of which, while orders aren't specific to workstations, you may be able to use the Manager Review option to get the information you're looking for in a non-report format.
