"Streamlined Processes, Easy to Use, but Some Features Need Improvement"
What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

I appreciate Dendi LIS for automating processes like the result release and microbiology resulting processes, which saves us significant time. The worklist and resulting options simplify daily operations, allowing us to review results with just a few clicks and make better judgments. I like the customizable features, enabling us to make necessary edits easily, and its cloud-based nature allows for convenient access from multiple computers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

I experience some chaos during the initial setup of Dendi LIS, mainly due to the transition from a previous system and needing to dig for more information. Connecting the LIS to our instruments and setting the correct reference ranges was challenging. Occasionally, there are hiccups where results don't fully crossover, though this is somewhat mitigated by the troubleshooting team. Additionally, the record features are not as inclusive as I would like, as they do not include patient names, which makes tracking more challenging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

Dendi is very comprehensive and simple and that's what I like best about it. It's streamlined and right the in your browser. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

I would like dendi to have time ability to view submitted results in the batch that they are submitted in. This would make review even easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christopher Chen of Dendi LIS

Thanks for your feedback, Dallas! We appreciate your input about viewing submitted results in their respective batches.

This functionality currently exists and can be accessed by navigating to the "Instruments" tab and selecting "Data Files". This should allow you to review the results from each batch.

If this is not exactly what you are looking for, please don't hesitate to reach out to support. We will gladly work with you to explore solutions to meet your needs.

Kind regards,

"Good resource for processing patient orders"
What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

The most helpful aspect of Dendi is the ordering tool which allows our sites to easily order supplies. The format is straightforward and easily accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

The downsides of Dendi are the exports. It is often difficult to export specific fields. It also can be frustrating to have to sort through the dates for each search in the orders tab. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good System for Lab, Not Great for Accounting"
What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

Dendi has a clean, easy to use interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

Dendi never does anything I ask. I am used to working with EMR's that take their customers requests seriously and want to adjust their programs accordingly. Dendi always just says, "Sorry, it just doesn't work that way." Regardless of how the issue is affecting our cash flow. In short, customer service is a sore spot for me.

We would like for billers to be able to webhook claims back to the billing company after insurance has been edited. Currently they can't have that without giving them access to edit labs. Those two abilities should not be intertwined. Billing tasks and lab duties should be seperated.

We would like to be able to identify hospice patients for the billing company so they can add the appropriate modifiers.

We would like to be able to seperate out Med A labs from the rest and export the information via csv, but the reports are very minimal.

We are having major issues with Diagnosis Code denials because we need to have a primary diagnosis slot, and we need to be able to limit what diagnosis's are available for the providers to choose from.

Even just small things like being able to sort the information in columns, or having the information be uniform through the program, such as last name be first everywhere instead of randomly changing up to first name first through the pages, would be nice. The small things can matter when it comes to productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dendi LIS is in a league of their own"
What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

Not only does Dendi LIS provide a platform for my laboratory to customize, streamline, and improve our testing, they've also provided a solution that is extremely user-friendly and beautiful to look at. In terms of layout and ease of use, there wasn't any other LIS company that came close to what Dendi LIS has created and continues to improve on. I love the fact that they are constantly improving and providing updates to the software and portal. Their team is also very hands-on with training and finding creative solutions to any and all problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

I honestly had to think hard about this as I don't have anything glaring that I dislike. They only thing that I would mention, which isn't necessarily a dislike, is that they are not as estabilished as some of the LIS companies that have been around for 20 plus years. This means that some of our other partners have not worked with Dendi LIS before and those relationships are being developed with us. Not really a dislike at all, more of a mention of something that would potentially require a touch more work or finesse on the lab side to facilitate a new working relationship. That said, any delays we've experienced with these new relationships have always been due to the other party's slow response and never once Dendi. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Functional and intuitive"
What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

The interface is intuitive and easy to use. The design of the webpage is sleek and doesn't distract from the application of the LIS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

I would prefer more customization with patient reports and a column based filter for departments on the order screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christopher Chen of Dendi LIS

Thanks for your feedback, Brady!

We appreciate your input as it helps up improve. You'll be happy to know that customizable patient reports will be available soon!

Regarding column-based filters for departments, we're implementing new filters based on report types in 2025.

If you are interested tracking the progress of these updates, don’t hesitate to reach out to Support or your account manager.

"Dendi may be the greatest LIS system ever!"
What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

I love how intuative it is. It is so feature pacted for being such a new LIS and navaagating the software is a brease. It works well for our clients and that alone would make me satisfied. I enjoy how customer support is always there when you need them to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

I dislike the hiearchy when creating patients. I beieve a patient should be tied to the facility before the doctor to ensure less duplication of patients. I dislike that I can not bootstrap the communication to the instruments, or how the target, test, test profile code system works. I wish there were more techical analysis instruments built in to diagnose inefficenties. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christopher Chen of Dendi LIS

Thanks, Kyle! Your feedback is valuable in helping us improve the product. Here's how we're addressing your concerns:

- Hierarchy When Creating Patients: We understand your concerns about patient duplication. This is being addressed in a future update that allows you to select facility-associated patients after choosing a provider. Currently, there is a workaround solution for this situation: When creating an order, search for and select the patient first, then choose the provider. This should help to prevent patient duplication.

- Target, Test, Test Profile Code System: Please note that users can assign Alternate IDs to each of these. This feature should provide the flexibility you need.

- Communication with Instruments and Technical Analysis: We acknowledge your concerns about communication with instruments and technical analysis features. We encourage you to reach out to your Account Manager to communicate your specific needs. Our team will gladly work with you to explore solutions that work for you.

"Mostly a user friendly design."
What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

I like the ability to choose a clinic and then a doctor and that all patients are available. This eliminates duplicates for the most part. I also like that we can build a plate map and have a CSV of the plate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

I am not a fan of how many search boxes there are. On the plate maps it would be nice if the boxes were sequentially numbered as well as letter/number combo. Over all I'm pretty happy with Dendi. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christopher Chen of Dendi LIS

Thanks for your review! At Dendi, we're always looking to improve and have taken your feedback into account.

We're currently working on giving labs the option to customize their views. Users will be able to hide fields, columns, and search boxes that they don't need to see. We've also noted your suggestion regarding the plate map boxes for future improvements.

If you want to follow up on this, don't hesitate to reach out to your account manager or to the support team.

"Great LIS"
What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

The ease of use. The order list is very helpful and easy to navigate for searching for samples. Ease of implementation was also a big plus. I was on the implementation team and I am also an everyday user. Dendi has been great for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

There is nothing glaring that I would call a dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
