  ### 1. Decent Tool with Ease of Use But Needs Improvement

**What do you like best about CDK?**

I like that when CDK is running, it's straightforward enough that I don't need to think extremely hard about the keys I need to use. The commands make sense, like H for history, Veh for the vehicle screen, and Fi for the finance screen. It's great that I don't need to remember random commands when I'm trying to do a million things at once. For my job, speed and accuracy are crucial, and CDK helps with that because I can quickly recall things I use daily thanks to muscle memory.

**What do you dislike about CDK?**

What doesn’t work is that if I don’t have the caps lock on and I’m trying to go quickly through screens then it will error out and not let me pass, so if I’m not paying attention then I will have to go back through everything again. Also, the fact that I notice CDK has been going down a lot more than it usually had in the past. The security concerns are also an issue for me.

**What problems is CDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CDK saves space by digitizing paperwork, saving me from clutter. It saves time by letting me locate information quickly without needing assistance. It lets me track technician activities effortlessly and pull customer history easily, improving speed and effectiveness.

**What do you like best about CDK?**

Efficient means of managing my sales staff. Very contstuctive and easy to use for sales staff and accounting staff as well. Ease of getting a snapshot of everyday operations and terms

**What do you dislike about CDK?**

Still a few holes in the system. Prime example, when a salesman deletes an appointment it kills all their future follow up tasks with  the customer.

**What problems is CDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is increasing efficiency of salesman and use of my time as a manager.

I like that CDK is fast and hands-on. It's the best product, and the initial setup was very easy, like one, two, three.

A lot of functions to run and various ways to reach to your goals

**What do you dislike about CDK?**

Not a user friendly software, a lot of training is required

Cdk is the primary accounting software, it is solving the accounting, auditing and tax problems and generating clear reports

CDK makes for easy follow up with customers using the monthly calendar

Unfortunately, it does not always work easily and the constant changing of passwords is a pain

**What do you like best about CDK?**

We use CDK for FI, Accounting and our Service Dept. Everything stays as up-to-date as necessary but stays consistent. The Ease of Use is and Integrations with their CRM is always smooth.  use this program daily and rarely experience system issues.

**What do you dislike about CDK?**

No issues here! The outage was a terrible set back this year but we recouped as quickly as we could and they handled the outage as professionally as possible. I do wish that it would integrate with other CRMs, more specifically hubspot.

**What problems is CDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am the Finance Manager so I use FI and the program integrates perfectly with my warranty and insurance sales program.

**What do you like best about CDK?**

The DMS is great for parts and service and has a large capacity for integration volume.

**What do you dislike about CDK?**

It is not user-friendly for accounting and requires multiple steps for the basics.

CDK offers a DSDA that is great for obtaining copies of checks issued, invoices, repairs orders, and more.

**What do you like best about CDK?**

The intergration between departments.  The   executive desktop is easy to use when you want a quick overview of your stores.  The drill downs are very heplfull in all applications.  Being able to push to excel easily is helpful.  DSDA is wonderful.

**What do you dislike about CDK?**

The reporting is lacking in many areas. Not being able to get yesterdays departmental sales numbers in one report is upsetting. F&I not being able to sell mulitple products and being able to report on them, everything is lumped into the WEO screen and is not user friendly.  Having no solution for selling Accessories on the sales floor as part of the deal is unacceptable.

**What problems is CDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

multi line dealership with 6 rooftops.  CDK does a great job with multi company.

**What do you like best about CDK?**

It is easily to use and gives exact outcomes. It helps greatly in automobile dealership activities. It helps to change from one assignment another without interruptions. In terms of performing various tasks, it is awesome and makes it simple to move from one worksheet to another. It assists with checking all dealership activities. It prevents stealing. Assists in inventory and monitoring income generated. It produces all dealership required reports for examination,and so on

**What do you dislike about CDK?**

The cost of using it is pretty high. Any form modifications that you need to make must be paid for. Only dealerships with huge capital can afford to use it.
It cannot be use remotely without vpn.

**What problems is CDK solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It help for warranty claiming, customer invoicing, workshop resource management, spare parts management, sales management, reports generation, inventroy, financial management, booking customer and Customer relations management.
