# Which Managed Security Services (MSSP) Vendors Provide Responsive Customer Support During Critical Production Incidents?

When production incidents hit, MSSP buyers want a partner that responds fast, and G2 reviewers give a clear read on which vendors deliver on that.

ThreatSpike (4.9★, 36 reviews): reviewers describe 24/7 monitoring that catches attacks early, quick breach notifications, and an engagement team praised for staying proactive and cutting through jargon during live incident discussions; an NPS of 96 lines up with that responsiveness.

Velstadt (5★, 12 reviews): reviewers point to dark web monitoring that surfaced compromised third-party credentials early enough to help head off a potential supply chain attack, plus hardening engagements delivered on time with minimal operational disruption; an NPS of 100 tracks with that consistency.

Nomic Networks (4.8★, 32 reviews): reviewers repeatedly single out the support team's responsiveness, describing it as second to none, and point to proactive monitoring that surfaces vendor and third-party traffic issues before they escalate; an NPS of 86 reflects that pattern.

Oh SHI stands out here, very highly rated with a solid review base, and reviewers consistently point to responsive account and technical support. CompuData and OneNeck IT Solutions are both well-rated too, and as more boutique managed-service providers, they tend to offer more personal, less-queue-based support than a giant vendor, which matters a lot during a live incident. Sophos Professional Services is another well-regarded option if you're already in the Sophos security ecosystem. To be real, "responsive during critical incidents" is exactly the thing to pressure-test before signing, so I'd ask each MSSP for their actual incident response SLA in writing (time to first response, time to escalation) and, if possible, talk to a reference who's lived through a real incident with them, not just a sales-cycle promise. What's your current gap, detection, response speed, or just not enough in-house staff to handle incidents around the clock?
