What do you like best about CAKE?
1. The helpdesk is always available for any questions. They even have emergency staff outside of business hours. Each account has their own account manager if needed as well. Set-up was easily done by uploading massive historical reports.
2. The direct integration of 3rd party products has been especially useful in the past.
3. The reporting is real-time and the dashboard loads quickly.
4. There used to be an app that didn't cover everything, but now the website is fairly mobile responsive and allows all access.
5. The tracking reports are very detailed. There are many ways to drill down on the information and there are options to customize reports based on groupings. If the dashboard can't show the breakdown, then it's always possible to just export and do a pivot table.
6. Pixel security that prevents against fraud is very important and they go a long way in making sure they have this covered.
7. Affiliates can receive their materials along with a restrictions list directly from the system with a press of a button.
8. The system can organize subID payouts automatically by using Directed Non-Original links.
9. Notices to all partners can be sent with various templates that can be customized.
10. Advertisers and Partners have access to an API of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about CAKE?
1. The API that checks partners for suppression file downloads isn't easy to navigate based on a client with multiple offers.
2. The idea portal is a long process and it's rare that submissions get picked-up for implementation.
3. The alerts are a great idea, but there could be more options to make them more intelligent.
4. Searching for words in the platform has to be exact or else the results won't appear.
5. The Advertiser API doesn't offer an option for the s1= variable.
6. The list of available subID payouts in the affiliate view dashboard isn't viewable.
7. There isn't a copy feature for partner or offer set-ups.
8. Currently no day-parting options, but they are working to improve.
9. Extra costs such as Event tracking or additional clicks.
10. Partners have the option to unsubscribe from alerts, which are important announcements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
