BrightWork is OK. It essentially provides you with more tools for your SharePoint environment. The best thing about it is the ability to customize reports and forms. It's perfect for Lessons Learned activities. I can send the form to everyone on my team, and they can provide their feedback. The reporting is good too. I can use form data to create customized reports. My favorite report is a project overview chart that provides details about the status of each project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Maybe I expect too much from BrightWork, but it's just a wrapper for SharePoint. Sure it gives me a few extra bells and whistles, such as the reporting and forms, but I have a hard time seeing the value in it. I don't know that giving my team access to reporting is worth the money we're spending on it. I also don't think anyone uses it as anything except for a document repository, which is why we have SharePoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
