"An Effective Tool that provides Excellent Results"

What do you like best?

The full integration that goes from the tendering process to the management of the contracts is what makes our day-to-day business more efficient. The automatic reminders and the ability to customize those reminders makes for a solution that you can simply program and leave. It's easy to have faith that everything will go right - because it always does!

What do you dislike?

Bonfire, as a tool, would do wonders if they would have a more intuitive reporting function. If my Finance team could jump onto Bonfire and download our commitments for the year/next 5 years, that would be phenomenal.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Give them a try. They are excellent at providing trial periods and will provide all the support you need to make sure that their product is right for your organization.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Allowing our different departments freedom to perform their own individual tenders (by invitation) has helped them realize significant savings, which allows them more money to do even more! There is always a request for better transparency, and Bonfire provides exactly that.

"Overall good and simple system for managing bids"

What do you like best?

I really like using the tool to manage my RFPs and RFQs. It simplifies the process so that theres a single one-stop location for my suppliers and vendors to access.

What do you dislike?

I wish there was a way to see open/public bids from other companies that use Bonfire to host at any given time...Perhaps a tool for suppliers to search by keywords of bid opportunities.

Also, the contract management database wasn't useful to me as there is a cap (based on subscription) to the number of contracts that can be stored at any given time. My company is a procurement/strategic sourcing consulting firm and as such, I have many active and non-active contracts. The non-active contracts, count toward the storage limit.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I looked at many different tools. For the money, Bonfire does a lot if you are looking for a simple solution to managing your RFPs and RFQs.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I needed a tool to quickly push out RFPs and RFQ on behalf of my clients. Because I have many events happening at the same time, I am able to manage the actions easily.

"Love the Bonfire product, makes my life easier and that's a good thing..."

What do you like best?

Ease of use, responsiveness to suggestions for improvement, simple onboarding of new staff and evaluators, Suppliers like it and give positive feedback during debriefs.

What do you dislike?

Bid tables are not flexible enough to handle complicated pricing schedules

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Efficiency, removes redundant work from Buyers, increases security of information compared to hard copy submissions and use of emails, cost savings from less time spent managing events, better experience for both Suppliers and Evaluators, access to meaningful metrics and tracking information, compliance with trade treaties for public sector entities
