The software is user friendly and highly specialized to non-profits. My organization uses this as our single source of truth for all things fundraising, constituents, prospect research, and more. I have been using it for about a year and my training experience was very easy. I also like that Blackbaud provides lots of opportunities to learn and talk to other users. I wish that there was an integration in the marketplace for Tableau because it is my preferred report building solution. I would also like to be able to annotate my queries with notes. Raiser's Edge is acting as our single source of truth and discouraging staff members from working off of assorted spreadsheets and memory. The continuity of record keeping reduces our reliance on institutional knowledge, making us less vulnerable in the event of staff turnover. We are also able to use queries, lists, and dashboarding to do simple analysis. Recently, we have found the prospect insights and portfolio tools very useful for our fundraisers. I like that Blackbaud is intuitive and easy to use. I work for a school in the marketing team. If I am writing a story about a community member, it makes it easy for me to look them up to learn more about their role. We also use the software to pull lists for electronic and print mailings. Overall, I really like Raiser's Edge and do not have much to critique. However, I wish the software supported more integrations.
