The lack of customer service is absolutely atrocious. They do not respond to requests for help and if they do respond, they don't answer the question. The system is very cumbersome and they are charging us for things we don't use. We are a very small organization and they have taken advantage of us and are charging us a ridiculous amount of money. I like that the system is very flexible and has so many features... I am always finding new ways to find new information about my constituents and members. I really love database view because it gives you the full "menu" of options... a little overwhelming at first, but once you learn how to navigate all the menus and the fields, it is a very powerful tool and necessary for effective fundraising. I really like how easy it is to track donor giving history, manage actions, and create dynamic lists for segmentation. The interface is clean and modern, making it accessible even for users who are new to fundraising software. With the move to unified view, everything is becoming more easily accessible instead of having staff members needing to log into database view. Some vital workflows are still missing from the RENXT view, making it so I have to switch back and forth between web view and database view fairly regularly. Blackbaud struggles to move everything from database view into web view. They build something out 90%, release it, and call it good, but miss transitioning the remaining 10% of features that users need to be successful. Blackbaud does release new innovations to the web view that are otherwise unavailable in database view, however. So, you win some but lose some. Hopefully they will successfully transition everything over to the web based platform in time. Customer support is also deteriorating over time as they plan to move all tech support to India, and to people that have never used the platform in their day to day lives.
