What do you like best about Better Stack?

What I like best about Better Stack is how easy it is to use. The intuitive backend requires no complicated configuration, making it truly a "fire and forget" solution. It offers great value for startups with pricing that scales as your company grows. The status page is not only functional but also visually appealing. I also appreciate how it has evolved from being just a monitoring tool to now also supporting log management, which adds even more value. What do you dislike about Better Stack?

The one thing I dislike about Better Stack is that the free tier pauses all active monitors if you don't log in to the backend for a certain period (30 days as far as I remember). What do you like best about Better Stack?

I like how you can modify the UI a lot, and how easy it is to use. Also, I think it's a really good service, especially considering it's free. It offers numerous free options that other services don't, and their UI is remarkably sleek. Additionally, the ability to set up your own CNAME adds to the overall versatility and customization options, making the experience even more organic and tailored to individual needs. What do you dislike about Better Stack?

To be honest, what I dislike is the requirement to provide a phone number for signup. I feel like email should suffice, and a phone number should only be necessary if you choose to use it. What do you like best about Better Stack?

It is really easy to set up Better Stack Logs within my JavaScript/TypeScript/Java projects using React/Next.js and React/Spring Boot either for the frontend and backend. The documentation really helps even for junior developers and trainees.

The frontend of Better Stack is well organized and fun to work with. It is easy to find and analyze logs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Better Stack?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to reset a source token. When a token is leaked, I have to delete the source (and all logs) and create a new source.

A few weeks ago, the platform's frontend was very slow to respond for a few hours and I contacted support. The next day, everything was working as expected again and support made sure I didn't have any more problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Better Stack?

I use Better Stack for the simple stuff, such as being notified when my websites go down. I'm a solo developer, so I don't have a time of people that have to be notified. It's just me, which means I need to know when a site goes down, and why, so that I can look into it and get the site back up. I bought Better Stack because I was tired of finding out that a site went down from my customers who notified me on social media. Now I can find out before them, look into the cause, and fix it.

I just started using the logs features, now that I have upgraded to my own VPS. I'm glad that Better Stack already has such robust features. It was easy to set up. Within a few minutes I can already see that people are trying to log-in to my server with my root ID and random passwords. Now I'm curious what I can do to prevent this. So I'm glad that Better Stack is showing me how to improve my security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
