Better Stack Reviews & Product Details

I really like the ease of setup. I am using it in my Personal Project, if you have the a logging already, it just a matter of minutes to integrate with BetterStack. I also loved the generous free tier, it's more than sufficient for hobby projects like mine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

No complaints till now, but I would like to see more support for native frameworks like react native. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Best experience we've had with a monitoring tool. Easy to set up, modern UI, and the status page translation feature significantly improved our users' experience. We highly recommend this tool to any team looking for reliable service monitoring and user-friendly status pages. We started with the free plan, but after such a positive experience, we’re definitely moving forward with a paid subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We genuinely have nothing to complain about, everything worked smoothly, and the tool delivered exactly what we needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using Better Stack for 2 weeks as of writing, their free plan is already good for basic website monitoring and push notifications to slack to get notified of downtimes. Their UI is clean, modern, and easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They lock the status page feature behind a paywall, while I think it's the core feature of an uptime monitoring solution. I think it should be free instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Love the UI theme. They sent a nice shirt. The status page implementation works well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Two major issues.

I encountered a bug where my slack alert did not display the snippet of the logs that caused the alert. This was not remediated for at least a month, despite many, many attempts to follow up.

Second, the UI is just miserably slow. I often wait 2 to 5 minutes for my logs to load. A log aggregator this slow is completely unusable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing is the free tier, you can just test out their product for as long as you want and then decide if you want the extra features behind the paywall or not. The UI and the feeling of using the product is just, phhhhhh and even the public Status Page is just too good to be given out for free. The integrations are what i want and i think that's good enough. The Product is just so easy to use and just get it set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only downside are the features behind the paywall, I understand that you need to earn so not really a downside. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As someone working in a fast-paced startup environment, Better Stack has been a lifesaver. Setting up uptime monitoring and incident alerts was incredibly simple, and I was able to get everything running within minutes. The dashboards are clean and visually appealing, making it easy to track performance at a glance. One time, we had a critical issue at midnight, and thanks to Better Stack's instant Slack notifications, we resolved it in under 10 minutes. Its integrations with tools we already use made adoption seamless, and it genuinely feels like a tool built for teams that value speed and reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While I love using Better Stack, I do feel the pricing could be more startup-friendly. For smaller teams like ours, a more affordable tier would make it even better. Also, while the core features are intuitive, I struggled a bit when trying to dig into the advanced logging features—it would have been nice to have more examples or tutorials for those scenarios. The free tier offers 10 heartbeats/monitors which fit my usecase infrastructure like a glove.

- Fast notifications when a heartbeat or monitor fails.

- Likable weekly monitors.

- The capability to export a report to present to our customers to ensure our SLAs.

- The amount of ways you can send alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- I'd like to test the other ways to send alerts for free to see if they do what I need them to do in order to upgrade my subscription.

- I'd LOVE to be able to change the email subject to something my email filter already detects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI is sleek and modern and supports all the filters I need for looking at the logs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We should select all the sources by default in live tail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how easy it is to setup a new monitor. The cloning feature is great and makes it quick and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While the free plan is pretty generous with the number of monitors and how often it checks for uptime, I could always use more monitors checking more often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BetterStack is extremely user friendly and I got my monitors and logs setup within an hour of signing up. The feature set, even on the lower pricing tiers is very good. I have had to contact customer support a couple of times with account related queries and everything was sorted within a couple of hours.

We use this on a daily basis and it helps keep our system running smoothly. Their SSL certificate monitor, in particular, has also assisted with the security of our websites Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not a lot, everything is very customisable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
