I created a status page to show my monitors and heartbeats in a single overview. I wanted to use a custom domain which was supported, but it took them 6 weeks to apply a certificate. Even implemetation was super easy as I just followed the given API doc and was able to get all the logs I needed with customizable options in logger for my application hosted somewhere else.

I find the occurrence of false positives in the uptime monitoring to be problematic. These false positives can be triggered by certain server-side or website-side codes, such as '403 Forbidden' errors, that lead to uptime alerts without the website actually being down or offline. It's simple to use and the setup is much easier than some competing solution. Customer support has a short turnaround time and is friendly. Better Stack is still incomplete compared to competitors on the logs/metrics side. Setting up metrics from logs is not user-friendly, and the usage of SQL for complex analysis is a nice idea in theory but makes things complex in practice. It's still a long way from Splunk's or Grafana's ease-of-use on that side.
