We don't know when site is down due to any issue, when customer are tell us we know that the site is down , now we know before customer know . And some of microservice are running in background we have easy to monitor it via heartbeat that it is running well

The site was easy to set up, and they include up to 10 monitors for free.  Plus weekly downtime reports and status site included.  You can also let your users know of upcoming maintenance and status updates for downtime helps reduce helpdesk calls.

Also, this tool has had the easiest setup from the other tools i have used.

The abilit with a free plan, to create a status page with a custom domain, something that usually comes with a price. I love the big amount of integrations!

I'd like to be able to have components in the status page that doesn't have a monitoring counterpart. At the moment it's not possible.

I am quite fond of the simplicity of Better Stack Uptime and its efficient monitoring of websites and servers. It does a job of overseeing everything making it convenient to stay informed, about the status of your website or server. With, over 10 integrations it seamlessly integrates into our tech setup. The setup is easy to follow enabling monitoring tasks. Additionally its interface is user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Better Stack?**

Outgoing webhooks are not available on the free plan.

**What problems is Better Stack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since I began using Better Stack monitoring my website and server used to be a bit haphazard and required an amount of time and energy. However with this tool, in place the process has become automated. It diligently monitors everything. Promptly notifies me of any anomalies. This allows me to concentrate on tasks reassured that I will receive timely alerts about any issues. The clear warnings and convenient problem solving options have significantly reduced downtimes, for my website or server.

**What do you like best about Better Stack?**

I have been using Better Stack for quite some time now to confirm that it is one of the best, if not the best, tools for monitoring websites. It is true that it has numerous options for this purpose, but I only use it to keep track of possible downtimes and issues on the websites I maintain, and that's enough for me. It is invaluable that with an email notification, the system alerts us if a website is unavailable at a given moment. Thanks to this, we can also identify problems on the server where it is hosted, allowing us to act accordingly.
With something as simple as adding a word from the homepage (or a phrase) to the system (among other monitoring options), Better Stack will know when we have a problem. Additionally, it informs us of the type of downtime, so we can differentiate between major issues or simple disconnections that last just a few seconds.
In short, an indispensable tool if you are involved in website maintenance.

Nothing. But they do send us weekly reports of the time the websites have been online!

One of the main problems in web maintenance is knowing when a website has gone down or has experienced an issue that makes it inaccessible. How to find out when this happens? Solution: Better Stack. What greater benefit could there be?

Upgrading from the free plan involves a significant price jump, potentially deterring users who only need a few additional features. Consider tiered pricing options.

While a mobile app exists, it lacks some core functionalities present in the web interface. A more feature-rich mobile app would be beneficial.

Better Stack took my website monitoring from scattered, unreliable efforts to a streamlined, proactive system. Gone are the days of manual checks and missed outages. Now, with live alerts and actionable insights, I can identify and fix issues fast, ensuring a smooth user experience and minimizing downtime. From preventing server overloads to optimizing page speeds, Better Stack has become my secret weapon for a healthy, high-performing infrastructure. And the best part? It saves me time and stress.

My personal favourite feature is the email alerts, and the ability to have an "on-call" team member to action those alerts.

I LOVE the "Explore Logs" screen to see real-time events coming in from Vercel. I can also set up alerts to notify me when I see an "Error" come by which is so handy. I haven't been able to find a better alternative thus far. Really happy with BetterStack.

I would love for the emails to include the errors that are being encountered.

We make ~10 new deployments every day to our Vercel app and with BetterStack we can be sure that the users aren't running into errors. We can ship much much faster now.

There was a detailed article with guidance on how to setup with a django app, worked exactly as expected. Mainly using for logtail at the moment but excited to see whats possible with more advanced monitoring and alerts. As a solo dev the generous free tier is a big help too.

Nothing at this point in time. Too early to comment on how this scales with my use case

Making sure my logs are accessible centrally and its easy to locate and analyse errors without having to rely on accessing the machines running my software.

Quality of everything - from UI/UX (User Interface and User Experience) to stable work and right set of tools to keep your servers and services up and running. It was very easy for me (amateur user of monitoring software) to set everything up and get it running. Unobtrusive and responsive customer support is always there if you need it. Good amount of educational materials, shall you want to dive deeper into the tool and technology. Also, from what I see in my admin panel, this is great tool for teams and bigger projects.

Just works. The free plan has everything I need (custom domain status pages, nice looks, email notifications, maintenence scheduling, comments, custom logos). Way better than UptimeRobot. Customer support even on the free plan treated me with respect. Implementation and integration was also very easy.

The push notifications are behind a paywall, which I don't mind very much, however I don't think it costs 25 bucks a month to push a notification to a server.

Sends emails when my site is down. This allows me to resolve incidents quickly.

Better Stack enables us to take a more pro-active stance towards our customers every day of our work. We receive alerts about downtime instantanously, ensuring that we can swiftly respond to any issues that our customer experiences. The status page enable us to get a good overview of a specific set of monitors, and we can share them (if we wish) with our customers as well. The on-call system can text or call us, or send updates to Slack, when there is an issue.

**What do you dislike about Better Stack?**

There is not really a lot that we dislike about Better Stack. If I had to mention a few "nice to haves" that we'd like to see in the future, it's UI/IX improvements in the admin panel, more support for customization on status pages (mostly in regard to how it looks), whitelabelling, etc.

Having said that, the support team is *very* receptible to feedback and many of the features I've suggested or requested have been implemented since.

We loved everything - from the initial implementation, their customer support was amazing. We were looking for something that's easy to use and integrate. We're using their logs solution along with on-call and the experience for users is just beyond what other solutions offer right now.

There's nothing particular that came under our radar, we shared our suggestions for future nice-to-have features, but other than that, the tool does its job - and makes ours and my colleagues efficient.

Better Stack is an powerful and helpful tool to monitor server status and get alerts about any incidents, even on the basic plan. This tool offers many features and configuration options to always keep an eye on the server status. It can be decided independently which statuses should only be internally and which should be publicly visible. Along with the user-friendly interface and fast responding customer support this is really a great tool which is easy to implement and integrate.

Unfortunately, there are some minor restrictions on changing the status of a system on the public status page manually. However, this is nothing serious but rather a nice-to-have.

Better Stack immediately alerts the team in the event of unexpected incidents of a server so that you can act quickly.

**What do you like best about Better Stack?**

I use Better Stack to monitor my web applications constantly. Better Stack keeps me updated with monitoring them and alerts me when there is a problem. It's super easy to use, and while I dread the "your site is down" emails, they are very helpful. I'm able to respond to outages quickly. Better Stack always has my back.

I interact with the communication that they provide. For some of my apps, it sends me text messages and emails, which is extremely helpful. Better Stack allows me to acknowledge the incidents, which would be more helpful if I had a team around me. My company is just me, and seeing a Resolved email come through is fantastic.

I haven't used customer support because the products stand so well on their own.

It was super easy to implement monitoring, and now I don't even think about it. I'm very happy with their service. I haven't had to integrate it with systems other than my cell and email, but there are many options for integration beyond my needs.

For usage of the site, I don't have to think about it since everything is working like a well-oiled machine. I interact with it when there is a problem, but most of the time, I don't actually need to go to their site as a solopreneur. The communication from them is superior to other options out there. I also use the site to set up new applications when I create them, but that isn't a daily occurrence.

Nothing that I can think of at this time.

Without Better Stack, I wouldn't have good coverage of my applications. It helps me monitor and alerts me of incidents with my web applications.

BetterUptime from Better Stack has been a game-changer for me. I've found it to be incredibly user-friendly, making it a breeze to use regularly. What's even more impressive is how easy it was to get it up and running. The implementation process was straightforward, and I was able to integrate it into my network without any headaches. One of the standout features of Better Uptime is its exceptional customer support. They're always quick to respond and extremely helpful in resolving any issues that come up. I use Better Uptime frequently to keep a centralized eye on my entire network. It's become an essential tool for me, ensuring that I'm always aware of the status of my network. Plus, it's fantastic for keeping my users informed about the network's status and any planned maintenance or similar events. And something that I really like is the ability to receive calls and SMS alerts during issues. It's a relief to know that if something goes wrong, I'll be notified immediately, allowing me to address problems before they escalate.

While my experience with Better Uptime from Better Stack has been very positive, it's worth noting that the lack of integrated server monitoring might be a downside for some. Better Uptime relies on integrating with standard industry tools for this feature. This hasn't been an issue for me, but it could matter to those who prefer an all-in-one solution.

I was looking for a cheaper alternative of Papertrail and I immediately liked the slick design of BetterStack. They have basic metrics too so it could also be a replacement for Datadog if you don't need all the overkill features. Their support is nice and reactive: they were quick to resolve a bug in my configuration.

**What do you dislike about Better Stack?**

The metrics need some kind of auto-discovery feature. They have templates for K8, postgres etc but t currently requires some complex SQL queries that I didn't feel like digging into. That said, I signed up for logging and metrics was a bonus to me.

Great Papertrail-like logging monitforing.

I'm extremely pleased with basically everything about Better Stack: the tool provides a plug-and-play solution to a problem, the interface is user-friendly, the tutorial was well-explained, and it's clearly documented. Using Python, the implementation was extremely simple.

The customer support was helpful and clear in their answers.

Better Stack fullfilled all the needs and beyond. There is basically nothing to dislike.

Better Stack allows to search and filter specific logs, and even more impoprtantly, send notitifications on critical errors. That's very useful, without having to develop any custom code.

The realtime logging is quick and reliable and it was very easy to get setup with node.

I just wished there was a little more retention period for the free plan. But I guess what they got now is fair

**What do you like best about Better Stack?**

Using this to import logs from my distributed systems to one central place.

It was pretty easy to integrate, because vector.dev is easy to understand and use. Could always go further and tweak more log parsing, but hey.

**What do you dislike about Better Stack?**

The aggregation of logs into graphs and alerts is a bit "getting used to" haven't understood everything about the SQL used there.

Sometimes the UI gives me miracles, but overall this is good

**What do you like best about Better Stack?**

The fastest setup time i experienced with any web application. 
Really intuative.
The features that come out of the box for free is really nice.
And even when i had issues setting up a oauth proxyied website the support helped with a work around and gave tech support for ssl issues. 

Really nice people. Could not recomend more.

The prices for really specific features seem a bit much for single persons.

Monitor downtime on our website and provide a status page which we can show our customers.

That you easily can get started for free and setup was like less than 5 minutes.
Then possibility to build out for more functionallity when needed and after your own budget.

Some things did not work as expected, i.e "looking for a word" in a frontend when it is being rendered in the browser. Threre were no such thing as like "wait X amount of ms for word Y to exist".

I get to know when my servers are not responding as they should.

Free getting started tool! It's always nice to be able to start with a free version to see if the tool fits the needs. And this one does! Simple to use and integrate!

**What do you dislike about Better Stack?**

Not much. I'd like more emphasis on the dashboards and graphs. It's still in beta, so hoping for the best. There is a lot of great opportunities to plot logs.

I can access my logs from anywhere, even my phone. And plot the output without the need of bringing up tools myself.

**What do you like best about Better Stack?**

They provide a free status page that you can use with your own subdomain, which was really easy to set up and integrate with my website. They'll also call  you when your website goes down, unlike some other services I tried. They have plenty of features for customizing your status page, such as custom css and javascript. The customer service was top notch, I even got a free T-Shirt just for being a customer!

**What do you dislike about Better Stack?**

I don't really have anything bad to say about them, and I haven't run into any friction using the service as of yet.

**What problems is Better Stack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better Stack lets me know when my website is down or not performing as expected. I will recieve an email and a phone call letting me know what's up, and it helps me respond quickly and find the source of the issue.

**What do you like best about Better Stack?**

I would definitely say that the calling feature is the best part of BetterStack - my developers can be alerted almost instantly after an incident is started. I also love the simplicity and how easy it is to deploy the status page. I think that status pages now look really bad, Atlassian status pages just don't look that good; they're bland, no dark mode, and look like an old webpage. However, BetterStacks' Status Page looks absolutely amazing.
I had an amazing support conversation with a BetterStack employee, I asked if I could recieve one more team member on my dashboard, which normally comes at a cost - they said yes! I was very surprised that they said yes, and very happy too. The support response time was a few hours, and I was kept updated.

**What do you dislike about Better Stack?**

I only have one thing, which is the lack of a Discord integration. I would like for me to be able to create incidents through a Discord bot. It would also be really really cool if there was a Discord bot in a channel that would edit its message based on the status.

For example, there's a message that says "All Systems Operational," however, when there is an incident, the embed color changes to yellow and provides a timeline of all status updates, and the effected monitors.

**What problems is Better Stack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BetterStack is making the process of calling IT members automatic. It will call IT right when an issue starts, including me! This makes downtime very minimal. Not only that, but I can track the ping of my website in multiple regions - allowing me to determine where I need to deploy edge servers at.

Better Stack Uptime is intuitive, modern and advanced. All in one! 
For those starting out they have a sweet free plan, which I will highly recommend. And if you need more, they have affordable plans.
Integrates and implementates very quickly. I use it for all my website/server monitoring.

The free plan has 3 minute checks instead of 30 second checks.

Better Stack provides a intuitive and advanced system for monitoring websites. In other systems it takes a lot of time to set up. But Better Stack was so intuitive, I was ready in no time.

I never understood how other services charge so much for logs and up time tracking. In the case of better stack my feeling is the opposite, how can they deliver so much for so little. Can't recommend enough if you are a startup.

Signed up to quickly get the functionality of PagerDuty and Pingdom with a free tier, However what was a nice surprise were some of the extra features. Namely the embedded message system and the customizable public status pages. Right balance of complexity and configurability.

No issues so far. Great work guys!
Ok one complaint. I would move the config for the notification message out of the Advanced tab. It would save us one click to use, and it is such a great feature. Might be easier to discover then.

Site monitoring and alerting were the essencials. Customizable status pages and messaging were bonus features we use now, but were not expecting.

- Their remarkable dashboard, incredibly user-friendly and modern. I haven't come across another company that excels in this aspect.
  
- The advanced notification features, especially the option to receive a call when there's an issue, which is crucial for me.
  
- Their outstanding support team, always ready and willing to assist whenever needed.

The status page lacks customization options in my opinion, such as the ability to change the background color.
