## BC in the Cloud Reviews
  ### 1. Highly Customizable, Needs Better Navigation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica V. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

I like the customization and reporting features of BC in the Cloud. I can tailor the system to suit our organization’s structure and create calculated fields to capture risk data. I also appreciate the ability to pull reports and create helpful visualizations, which allow us to share data with stakeholders who don't have BCIC access.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

Navigation can be a bit problematic when going in and out of edit mode. I find it annoying that the page doesn't show where I was in view mode. Also, reporting layers need some work. I have to look for ways to get from one object to another if there's no direct relationship created between them. It can be a bit of a hassle.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BC in the Cloud for Business Impact Assessments and Recovery plan generation. It lets me customize fields to capture risk data and create helpful visualizations to share with stakeholders.

  ### 2. Usable, Flexible Workflow with Truly Top-Notch, Solutions-Oriented Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

I like the usability, flexibility, and overall workflow of the software. The customer service team, TAM, and support team are top notch, very solutions-oriented, not afraid to think out of the box, and are partners in ensuring we have a product that supports our processes and our business need (not a product that requires a change to our processes).

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

In some cases, it feels like “double the work.” For example, there are times when I want the View and Edit pages to look the same for our end users, but that means I have to make the same change(s) twice. The product should allow those pages (including the New page) to stay in sync when edits are made.

Similarly, if we build a change in the test environment, it doesn’t get pushed to prod; it has to be recreated in prod. From the perspective of the TAM service, that essentially feels like double-charging.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BC in the Cloud supports our operational resilience across business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management planning. It also provides a service that helps the company respond appropriately to customer inquiries, audits, and certifications, while ensuring we remain compliant with customer obligations and regulatory requirements.

  ### 3. User-Friendly Assessments with Step-by-Step Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** April R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

The system is very user friendly and walks you through capturing required data to complete assessments and develop plans. The team is incredibly supportive and walks through implementation step by step.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

We are using a new version and do sometimes find that changes impact our data since we have customized some of our templates. The approval portal is rudimentary and could use some redesign work to make it more appealing to end users.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are building our BC program and BC in the Cloud is keeping us organized and making the process easier for our business partners, who are not used to this process yet.

  ### 4. Strong BCMS Program Management with Helpful Planning and Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

Business Continuity program management. We use BC in the Cloud for our BCMS. It helps with planning, exercising, incident management, and BC metrics' reporting.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

Right now we are/have been struggling to upgrade to Runways and I feel it has taken far too long for this, albeit, we do have some of our own customizations that still need to be factored but we're going on close to 2 years. I'd like to see the support and enablement of this opportunity pushed up on the priorization level.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gap Analysis between applications and processes. It also helps provide our Executive Leadership the information and data relating to our business processes and inter-dependencies.

  ### 5. Streamlines Critical Security Comms with setup investment

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

What resonated with me most was how effectively it streamlines the sharing of critical information across teams in high-pressure situations. From a non-technical perspective, BCIC stands out because it reduces communication friction, making sure the right stakeholders are informed quickly, consistently, and clearly. That level of alignment is essential in physical security, where response time and coordination can directly influence outcomes.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

Our organization is non-linear and resource-light, and the amount of setup required is considerable and substantial. Because of that, I’m looking forward to integrating AI agents to help support and streamline that effort.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintaining business continuity during a crisis by minimizing downtime and shortening RTO.

  ### 6. User-Friendly Platform with Great Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ted P. | Business Continuity Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

I have been using BC in the Cloud for 1.5 years for BC/DR planning, and I find it incredibly useful in managing tasks in one central location. The tool enables comprehensive workflow structuring for Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), effectively supporting the entire Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) lifecycle from beginning to end. The implementation process was smooth, and I appreciated the guidance from an assigned implementation specialist, which helped us become familiar with the tool. I also find the capability to structure Business Entities to document our company's organization very beneficial. The platform allows me to perform various critical tasks, such as calculating Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and documenting task lists for outages, which are essential for our operations. Furthermore, the platform is not only easy to use but also customizable to fit any organization's unique needs. I particularly value how the platform supports our goal of achieving the ISO 22301 certification. The BC in the Cloud team is fantastic—they truly listen to customers and address their needs. Overall, the combination of usability, support, and customization options makes BC in the Cloud a highly effective tool for my work.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

I find the report customization in BC in the Cloud challenging as it requires a pretty extensive knowledge of HTML to modify documents. A simpler, out-of-the-box way to customize reports would be fantastic, making the process more accessible to users without technical expertise.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BC in the Cloud for centralized BC/DR planning, structuring workflows, and generating reports, which supports the BC/DR lifecycle and aids in ISO 22301 certification efforts.

  ### 7. Easy Admin Interface That’s Customizable and Adaptable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

Easy interface for admins. Customizable and adaptable to different needs.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

Inconsistent interfaces for assessments (e.g. impacts and dependencies have different UI). Limited features in portal like read only access to previous BIAs, plans, etc.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that it has solved is visibility into dependencies. Being able to link processes to applications and applications to infrastructure for example. This helps us to quickly assess the impact of a disruption. It has also helped us to keep all BC related materials and testing organized.

  ### 8. Highly Customizable Fields with Flexible In-House Admin Control

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kourtney C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

Receiving buy in from other stakeholders and their understanding of the cloud value proposition (ROI).

Cost savings and the internal and external partnerships developed while learning about the product.

  ### 12. Flexible Tool with Great Team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett L. | Sr. Engineer, Technology Business Resiliency, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

The flexibility of the tool and the people behind the product.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

The cost model around the API module is essentially all or nothing which makes it cost prohibitive for a single connector.

Provides a central repository and single solution for BC/DR planning and BIAs.

  ### 13. Ease of use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to use out-of-band access has been really helpful.

  ### 15. Efficient and Effective BCMS tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2021

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

BC in the Cloud has helped us automate a lot of our historical manual processes and allows us to efficiently and effectively complete our program processes and track the various tasks and activities in a more effective manner.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

I would like to see a better test environment opportunity. Currently, you need to spin up a test environment and manage and monitor it separately from production which is time-consuming and adds another layer of overhead. It would be nice if they could come up with a way to mimic the production site (objects, relationships, integrations, etc.) without including all the production data and the need to customize and manage a separate environment.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our entire BC program is able to be managed and monitored through the use of the tool. We have been able to automated much of our program tasks and have received multiple accolades and kudos from our business partners using it and working on our BC tasks as it has made their lives easier.

  ### 16. Scalable BCM Planning Software for Organizations of All Sizes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon E. | Global Manager of Operational Resilience & Risk, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2021

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

Over the course of my career, I've utilized several BCM applications. Some required high degrees of customization to make them useful. Others lacked an intuitive user experience and interface or had the ability for the software to scale as the program matured. The BC in the Cloud solution offers robust out-of-the-box features that are both intuitive and scalable and can be easily customized to meet the unique resiliency and risk requirements for our company.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

The only downside I've seen so far is a gap in out-of-the-box reporting functionality but I wouldn't say that it has been a showstopper for our organization.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We moved to BC in the Cloud after outgrowing our last platform. BCIC has allowed us to standardize the BCM planning efforts for our global program across the enterprise, including four lines of business and our corporate organization. It has also allowed us to identify our operational risks and build key performance indicators.

  ### 17. BCintheCloud good BCM tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monique H. | Business Continuity Program Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2021

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

After comparing to other tools on the market around 2015, BCintheCloud offered all the functionality we were looking for a great price. The implementation team was great to work with as we migrating from an older software tool. Their support team is very responsive.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

To get the most from the tool, one really needs to have HTML/Java type knowledge and expertise. If you don't, you have to rely on their support and service delivery team to do what you need.

**Recommendations to others considering BC in the Cloud:**

The product has added much more functionality since we selected it so I would use them to the extent your program and management allow.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used another BCM software tool for over 10 years until the vendor sunsetted it so we had no choice. Our organization is required by state law to have some type of preparedness/continuity plan so we had to find a new product. BCitCloud is straight-forward, easy for users to understand and update and administration is relatively easy (unless it is back-end HTML/Java stuff).

  ### 18. Cloud is the best and Highly Available platform for BC

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2022

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

Pre-Built Templates.
Instant customer support and resolution.
Good UI.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

Has to be implemented across various platforms instead of one.

**Recommendations to others considering BC in the Cloud:**

Once you get a knack for it, it's all very easy.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quicker implementation. Pre-Built templates that are easy to use.
Supports various utilities like automation, Incident management, Vendor management, and tracking.

  ### 19. Great balance of out of the box with options to customize where it matters for my organization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick N. | Sr. Business Continuity Planner

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2021

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

I can teach a new BC Department or IT user how to use the system on their own in 30 minutes. Most have navigation and the process down in less than 20 minutes.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

As we all like to see things a little differently, I'd like the BIA analysis improved in the tool to score impacts better for my business. Thankfully, BC in the Cloud completely understands my needs and is helping me customize the system to meet my organization's needs.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are working on putting managing risks at the front of problem-solving in our organization. I'm working with internal stakeholders to look at how I can help them using the risk register, categorization of risk types to prioritize the resources we put of spoecific risks. The thought is that if we manage the risks well, we will have less need to activate our business continuity plans.

  ### 20. BC in the Cloud Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2021

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

We had a chance to use BC in the Cloud as we were migrating our enterprise HR system into the cloud for ease of use and ability for our employees to access internal data in real time.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

One of the issues we came across when using BC in the cloud was the inability to have consistent access to our data in real time across different platforms b/w Windows and MacOS users.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned earlier, our organization is attempting to move all of our data and critical missing client info into the cloud for real time access as our teams are across the globe.

  ### 21. BC in the Cloud

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rhonda R. | Business Resiliency Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2021

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

BC in the Cloud is a very customizable tool and has allowed us to enhance and expand our Business Reliency Program with more/better data and metrics. We've been able to build out every component of our program in one tool.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

The somewhat complex backend of the tool requires HTML knowledge in order to really enhance reporting, scripting, etc.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool provides one resource for all plan components vs. utilizing multiple tools. The relationships between the data really allows us to provide better data to our various partners in the business.

  ### 22. Excellent Software for Customizing Resiliency Initiatives

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas B. | Sr. Business Resilience Manager - HR Business Resilience at Amazon, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2021

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

Any person with a little system administration or basic content management experience can start customizing screens and fields with minimal effort. Almost everything in the BCIC application can be tailored and customized to address the specific needs of your organization.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

Reporting is clunky and difficult to navigate. There are no options for openly visible and customized dashboards. The ability to easily customize BCIC can quickly deviate the application from a standard upgrade cycle that realizes new functionality and upgrades.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BCIC helps solve the lack of clarity in how organizational processes are defined and their resiliency posture. BCIC helps consolidate and present organizational data through a resiliency lens, driving positive change through data.

  ### 23. BC in the Cloud - quick and easy with all your information in 1 place!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Investment Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2021

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

BC in the Cloud is very flexible and easy for us to tailor our BIA and plans to how we want to see things

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

Advance reporting capabilities are limited as is the ability to replicate your production environment in test so you can 'try' before you finalize with the same data you have in production

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it easier for our business partners to review and update their BIA and BCP plans quickly and efficiently

  ### 24. Large Retailer Leverages BCIC for BCM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2021

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

Citizen development. Ability to report and adjust data elements on the fly. Planning and risk mitigation is streamlined through the low code solution. Dashboarding and data visualization are great.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

Ability to export and manage very large data sets with many relationships.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining the BCM process by creating a robust repository where Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessment related data is living and interconnected. This allows the BIA process to move quickly during an annual or bi-annual review. The plan update and approval process are also streamlined by connecting the data points from the analysis portion into plan sections that automatically populate for the end-user.

  ### 25. Quickly update your BIA

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2021

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

Once you have defined your organization and processes, it will be easy and straightforward to conduct your BIA and have that data flow into your BCP plans.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

It took longer than we anticipated to set up our organization as we have many business units, departments, line and staff support organizations, but once we had a handle on all the elements, the tool was easy to use.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating the BC process from Word based plans.

  ### 26. BCIC has made my life easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2021

**What do you like best about BC in the Cloud?**

It has been user friendly for my managers to complete their work within BCIC.

**What do you dislike about BC in the Cloud?**

It took some time to launch the system, but we are now satisfied.

**Recommendations to others considering BC in the Cloud:**

Do your research and compare BCIC other tools. I'm happy that we chose this tool.

**What problems is BC in the Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It beats using spreadsheets or Word. I can easily run reports for any of my locations.
