I like how clear the calls are, and I also appreciate the settings I can adjust to receive and transfer calls.

I don’t like how small the buttons are in the app; they feel hard to tap accurately.

**What do you like best about Avaya Unified Communications?**

The Avaya UCaaS has a lot under the hood. At the base level, VoIP phones utilize existing internet connections to provide telecommunications versus fiddling with outdated phone jacks. The phone is filled with customization, including a long list of speed dials, custom ring backs, voice mail options, etc. The world opens up when you pair the phone with the Cloud/Hub! The hub allows your phone to send and receive text messages which is very handy when managing two-factor authentication or wanting to text customers. The hub also has options to fax documents directly from your computer. Companies can also host video meets with relatively stable connections—great for annual customer meetings, board meetings, etc. The final touch is the integration of instant messaging, which cuts down on numerous short e-mails or walking over to cubicles.

**What do you dislike about Avaya Unified Communications?**

The quality of phone calls can vary between Avaya and your internet service. At its worst, calls are missed, dropped, or experience audio glitches or pops. Video conferences occasionally can lag like other competitors. The text

Our company previously used regular phones, which provided zero benefits beyond calling. The Avaya system allows us to call, text, instant message employees, fax vendors, and conference call board members—all for about the exact cost as before minus the one-time buy of new phones.

**What do you like best about Avaya Unified Communications?**

There are two Features I like in Avaya UCaas 1. Connect Anywhere 2. You will Gain all-in-one Functionality of the Unified Communication Portfolio. Being an Administrator, I need to do the end-to-end Configurations and New implementation and Support the operations issues.
You can connect it from anywhere, and it is a cloud-based phone and chat system, and you can easily switch from a desk phone to a mobile phone.
It gives the full Power of advanced unified communications features, including AI capabilities

It is a very costly solution for unified communication; since its a cloud-based solution, If you need DR Capability then you need to pay license cost for the backup location

It is not suitable for the contact center needs comparatively to Genesys cloud, Hence its been decided to migrated to Genesys cloud to accommodate contact center needs

The main feature I like about Avaya Equinox software is its interface and stability in video calls with members of the organization and guests. Even though the internet is not so good, the software reduces the quality of the video, stabilizes the image and audio. The tool supports many people simultaneously, allows you to view presentations, make comments and take notes.

**What do you dislike about Avaya Unified Communications?**

Virtual room licenses have a high cost, but have a differential in relation to competitors. Avaya Equinox has quality support and is always fixing bugs.

**What problems is Avaya Unified Communications solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Avaya Equinox has reduced exorbitant travel costs for the organization's employees. I can say that the tool allows you to do more than 80% of traditional meetings without leaving the office. The image and sound quality are incredible, it supports many users at the same time and it has great quality Avaya support.

This is one of the cost-effective alternatives to scheduling and hosting virtual meetings without leaving your office. The interface is amazing and easy to use. It is possible to talk to more than one person at the same time with HD quality.

We found no problems with this tool in its use. It has always worked very well and meets expectations well. We have nothing negative to report.

The great advantage and benefit of this tool is the ease of giving presentations and talking to customers without leaving the company. The economy is big on fuel and travel. The support team is super fast and efficient too.

I like software because it has inherently useful communication tools, as well as offering an intuitive development platform for my company. Very easy to set up and connect to a meeting.

The free version of the software does not have all the necessary functions and tools so you have to buy one of their plans to enjoy all the software tools.

Cloud solution, which means that all you need is your password and you can log in from anywhere and any device.

Software with excellent collaboration tool and team meeting that centralizes voice, video, messaging, exchange and task management in one place and is in the BROWSER. Ideal software for any person or company that needs an easy way to organize meetings and manage work. Easy configuration and implementation of the software since it is available to open in any browser and on any mobile. Offering my employees to connect from anywhere at any time.

Complete and perfect videoconferencing solution that we use to participate in videoconferencing via computer and mobile devices. The interface is friendly, easy to use. Equinox supports high quality video and audio resolutions. It also supports PDF and powerpoint presentations through screen sharing.

There's nothing you didn't like about Equinox. The interface, video, audio, features are excellent.

Equinox decided to reduce travel costs and travel time for employees because virtual meetings with Equinox have been very functional and great.

Avaya has a very user friendly interface that makes it easy to operate for users of all ages. We have had great feedback from our employees about the remote access abilities as they are no longer tied to a desk to make phone calls.

While Avaya is great once installed and in use, it is a cumbersome process to install. However we have found paths to success in circumventing these issues.

With Avaya, we are able to offer remote telephone access for our employees and agents. They can access office phones on their mobile device from anywhere.

Sometimes it will cut out, but that is a rare occurrence and could be more related to connectivity.

Being able to sign in to my work phone from my mobile phone to take and make work calls.

Requires to be connected to the work WiFi in order to work (so doesn't work off campus), however, I hear that this can be altered by the ICT department.

Seriously this is a great product I would highly recommend.

**What problems is Avaya Unified Communications solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not have a work mobile and hate giving out my personal number to people and I often work remotely as well away fr my work phone. Avaya Equinox solves both these problems as whilst I'm at work (but away from the office) I can take and make business calls from my mobile without having to give out or reveal my mobile number.

I like that Avaya Aura Conferencing has all the tools that allows me to create communication channels at ease.
Avaya Aura Conferencing has a clean UI and UX.

Avaya Aura Conferencing has got all what keeps video conferencing kicking at HONO, I cannot point any hatred speech towards it.

The best part of Using Avaya Aura Conferencing is the ability to video and audio call at the same time.
The picture quality is way better than any other conferencing software

Iam pretty sure this is not my internet issue

too many setups , it needs to reduce the hardware component and make more cloud friendly applications

We have multi location offices, where connecting a meeting is difficult , either team has to fly or travel just to attend meetings, This has reduced the travels for meetings

**What do you like best about Avaya Unified Communications?**

With the Avaya Application I like that it has a simple interface and literally all the features of a traditional mult line office phone, including a personal voicemail box.

**What do you dislike about Avaya Unified Communications?**

I do not like that if there is a lag or a disconnect in internet signal more than likely your call will drop.

I appreciate that Avaya has a telephone number identifier whan clients call. It makes it super easy to locate peoples information before I answer the phone leading to an excellent customer service experience.

The convenience of not being locked to a desk to answer calls or make calls. I can hold meetings/conference calls from the break room if I wanted to.

It’s getting better with time. They keep adding features which makes the system better and better.

I’m able to get the whole team on board at one time by hosting conference calls. Clients are to able to reach me right away with the call forwarding feature. No one goes unanswered.

I love how this helps me know how many calls are in the work queue! It makes working phones lines very easy.

**What do you dislike about Avaya Unified Communications?**

I dislike how it lags sometimes, when people log on or off the phone lines. And sometimes the call wait times are inaccurate.

**Recommendations to others considering Avaya Unified Communications:**

It's a great way to keep track of phone calls, if you have people working in a phone room, or even just answering regular office calls. You can keep track of calls in the queue, customer/client wait times, how many people are staffed and answering phones, and how many employees are in AUX mode, or not answering calls at that particular time.

**What problems is Avaya Unified Communications solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helps us ladies in the phone room stay on track. It helps keep us accountable for making sure patient are waiting on hold for too long. It also lets us know who is staffed and who may be on break or in aux mode.

Allows users to share screen on a conference call. Additionally, allows sending captured photos, video files, or file attachments. It can be installed on a phone searching for app on Google play.

Actually, I dont have a dislike with. Avaya Equinox has all features to have a good performance through chats, conference and more.

The company has branches around the country and we use Equinox to make the conference and interact with each other.

I find that the App on the phone drains the battery very quickly and it is a bit qlitchy at time

I liked the ease of differentiating client calls to personal phone call. I can call other phones with my cell phone with the office phone's number showing up on their caller id.

**What do you dislike about Avaya Unified Communications?**

I did not like the connectivity when there is not wifi available. I would not use it when I am relying on data from my cell phone.

I would recommend trying out the service under certain circumstances to know when you will receive good phone quality

It allowed me to use my office phone while I was on the road and traveling.

I love that you can use this program on your computer , cell phone, and landlines. It works great with click to dial as well

I do not like that you cannot use the platform on a MacBook.  I wish I could download the program or app on my MacBook so I can use it easier.

Make the app easier to start up

I have only had problems getting the program on my iPhone and setting the app up after downloading it. Also, Using the application on the iPhone rarely works with my phone carrier service even when I have full bars. I can only use it with my phone when I am connected to WIFI. It would be very beneficial to use the app between appointments when I don't have WIFI.

Avaya has FINALLY updated their softphone application with much needed functionality and cross-platform compatibility. 

**What do you dislike about Avaya Unified Communications?**

The requirement to Avaya Session Manager/System Manager. Fairly complex initial deployment regarding HTTP server architecture.

A better softphone application, flexibility of no desktop phones. We love how the application is cross-platform compatible (MacOS, Windows, Linux), iPhone, Android.

It has issues when you log in incorrectly, as it saves that data, which sometimes makes it difficult to log in quickly.

Be sure all login info is correct, even at initial login, as the system saves what you enter and can be difficult to update.
