"Interconnectivity and Data Insights Elevate Our Workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I like the data availability and its ability to connect with our other systems we use. We now have access to data points we never had before, which drives performance indicators and career progression. Also, I appreciate the interconnectivity of Autodesk products, the enhanced data points, and the improved cost management software compared to Procore's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

Permissions within Forma need some work. I would like to see more granular permissions based on the tool being used and an expansion of the Project Admin permissions. It would be better if giving someone admin access on one tool, like Build, doesn't automatically make them an admin in another, like Cost Management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Project Management with Visibility and Ease"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I like that Autodesk Forma is a one-stop shop for project management tools, and it includes options to manage our project financials. This makes it easy from a management overview standpoint to quickly see the status of any given project. I love that subcontractors can directly submit RFIs and submittals into the system, which helps eliminate the email aspect and tracking, making submission and tracking very easy. What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

We explored moving our financials into Autodesk Forma's financial tool, but faced issues with integration with our ERP system. There were many features that were significantly different, and we weren't sure how the mapping would work, so it didn't work for us at the time. It's something we need to look into more. "Enhances Team Collaboration with Cloud Model Viewing and Streamlined File Access"
5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I really like having a reliable collaboration platform with Autodesk Forma, making it easy to share data with internal and external project teams. The built-in model viewer is great, running at a higher frame rate with better graphics fidelity than other platforms like Navisworks, in addition to working without installed software. The viewer has valuable tools for walkthroughs and reviews, helping my team gain insight into design progress and identify issues early in the design process. Our teams find value in its ability to keep different disciplines aligned and facilitate communication by allowing us to see and understand each other's models as the design evolves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I find it frustrating that Autodesk Forma doesn't offer a simple way to share models with clients who don't have a Forma license. While we, as professionals, invest a lot in this platform, our clients are locked out of access, which can be a hurdle for us. Some people might say those options are available, but they're not clearly presented or easy to manage, at least from my perspective. Also, learning how to properly set up permissions when configuring new projects can be tricky. It's easy to set up with wide default access, but fine-tuning permissions requires some trial and error. Another annoying issue is when adding new members; you have to hit tab after typing an email address for it to recognize and process, and that's not intuitive at all. This bug definitely needs fixing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Autodesk Forma: A One-Stop Shop That Keeps the Whole Team Aligned"
4/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I like that Autodesk Forma is a one stop shop for most project management needs. The ability to link between sheets, RFIs, Submittals, meeting minutes, etc. makes it very easy to follow an item and keep your entire team on the same page. I think the user interface is pretty straightforward and aesthetically pleasing. I'm still unlocking more of Autodesk Forma's features as I use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

The markup tools could use some work, as it is not as easy to manipulate files as it is in Bluebeam, so most of my team resorts to adding extra steps in their workflow to avoid document manipulation in Forma. Sheets can take too long to load sometimes. The Forms module has potential, but my team has found a few features that would heavily improve them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Autodesk Forma: Strengths, Challenges, and Lessons from Enterprise Adoption"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

Autodesk Forma is viewed as a strategic, cloud-first platform that brings design authoring, coordination, collaboration, and project data management together in a single environment. Teams value Forma for its strong integration with Revit, centralized project data, cloud-based worksharing, model visualization, clash detection, and coordination capabilities, all of which help improve efficiency across multidisciplinary projects.

Forma is also seen as an important step beyond BIM 360 and traditional ACC workflows, because it combines design, coordination, document management, and emerging capabilities such as AI-assisted analysis within one unified platform. For organizations like Ramboll, frequently cited benefits include supporting distributed teams, maintaining a common source of project information, streamlining model reviews, and connecting design workflows from early planning through delivery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

For users like you working in ACC Model Coordination, these issues often come up: limited flexibility in clash management, reduced customization, reporting workflows that take extra steps, and ongoing frustrations with permissions and access management.

Many organizations also report difficulties with multi-company access, permission inheritance, and user onboarding, along with repeated authentication prompts. Across several review sites, access and login management is frequently mentioned as a negative topic, and users often complain about having to authenticate repeatedly or work through security requirements that feel unnecessarily cumbersome. "Easy, Valuable File Versioning with Clear Change Tracking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

It goes unnoticed by many, but the easy file versioning that occurs within the platform, with the ability to recall and compare with old versions, is incredibly valuable. Questions of "when did this change" are no longer opaque or subject to speculation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

I've used this platform to share files discretely and securely, but still seem to confuse some recipients when they aren't familiar with Forma. When I send someone a link, it is for their user account, but then they try to forward it to someone else at their company and the other person is locked out. They then claim this platform doesn't work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ACC is fine. Collaboration is easy, but not the "game changer" Autodesk promised"
2.5/5
Describe the project or task Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) helped with:

The service task overview provides a comprehensive look at the tasks involved in managing and maintaining the ACC platform, ensuring seamless operation and user satisfaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

ACC adds a ton of features that really makes the platform the single source of truth to house all of our project related data. The new UI is easy to navigate, the project Admin Portal is excellent and easy to use. Insights and analytics are not helpful. Model insights is nice, but it's not intuitive and does not help me diagnose the actual problems impacting model health (we have to use model Insights alongside other model health tools like Pirros health) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Five Years of Progress With Autodesk Construction Cloud"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

What stands out most is the way Autodesk Construction Cloud has become the backbone of our design-side projects. We rely heavily on Docs, Build, and Model Coordination, which have scaled seamlessly as our team has grown into a globally connected operation with our BMI and UKO teams.

ACC has significantly improved efficiency, particularly with the Bridge tool, which makes it easy to share data quickly with clients and partners. That capability has saved us time and reduced friction across disciplines and organizations. While we primarily use Power BI through the Data Connector instead of the built-in Insights tool, the ability to extract and structure data has been invaluable.

From a usability standpoint, the platform is intuitive — many team members still prefer the Desktop Connector for direct file access, which underscores how accessible it is. Its integration with Revit and Navisworks has been a real highlight. The ability to create and track issues seamlessly across ACC, Revit, and Navisworks ensures the entire team stays aligned.

Finally, clients appreciate the streamlined handover process. Being able to deliver files and models quickly and in an organized manner has left a positive impression and reinforces ACC’s role in driving project success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

Most of the challenges we’ve experienced are less about the tool itself and more about adoption. Many users are still accustomed to a traditional folder-structure mindset and prefer working on server-based systems, so shifting to a web-based interface has required change management. Similarly, our Construction group often leans toward Procore, which has a longer history of maturity in that space.

On the analytics side, while the Data Connector is powerful, the built-in Insights tool falls short for our needs. It lacks the depth, customization, and flexibility that we require, which is why we rely more heavily on Power BI for reporting and dashboarding.

Finally, the cost is a factor. While Autodesk Construction Cloud delivers clear value, the price point does stand out, especially as firms evaluate ROI compared to other platforms in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent one-stop-shop for model exchange, collaboration, & historical data, with a learning curve."
3.5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

What I like best about ACC is that it is a central hub for all model exchanges, updates, collaboration, including a version history that serves as a repository of previously published models. Depending on how you link to design team models, changes can be observed and coordinated quickly. Most of, if not all of our office projects use ACC daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

Internet outages can cause serious heart-burn when under a deadline. Maintenance is performed as quickly as possible but without access to ACC, you are dead in the water, and unable to access and continue to work on your model. The amount of menu's and folders on the website interface can create a steep learning curve which prevents people from utilizing the software to its fullest extent. I have yet to work on a project that has utilized all aspects of such a deep application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Autodesk construction cloud review"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

its seamless integration across various stages of a project. From design to handover, the platform connects teams and workflows, which significantly reduces the risk of errors and miscommunication. All subcontractors use the same platform making it a one stop shop for information exchange. It is also easy to use once you get a hang of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)?

There were a lot of good features in BIM 360 that Autodesk did not carry forward into ACC. Issues and forms workflow was better in BIM360. Also for new users, it can take a lot of a time to learn the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It would be great if there was a webinar or guide specifically about using BIM360 for design team model sharing. I get invites for many but they are too general and seem to be showing all the features.
