It was easy and we got a lot of help to figure out how we wanted to work with this software. It is User friendly, very open to suggestions or improvements and gives you all the tools required to manage your minute books safely. We always have help when needed and I always get an answer to my questions. Athennian also helps a lot to follow the transactions, the tasks and reminders, the groups, reports and notes. We also decided to code our own documents, which we appreciate very much, and we always get the support we need when something is not working. **What do you dislike about Athennian?** since I have to give an opinion of something I dislike: I'm not a big fan of the AI trend in all the softwares in general. I think Athennian could have improved on more interesting sections. **What problems is Athennian solving and how is that benefiting you?** Athennian helped us with the management of virtual minute books. That was our main issue when we implemented it. We used to create our minute books as PDFs and had to add manually all bookmarks. It's so much faster and easier to update a minute book, share it and review it. Since then, we also started using Athennian to help with transactions and the managing of our client files. ### 2. The product is slick, intuitive and can be adapted to suit each client's needs. The strong development team means the product is consistently improving (and adapting to client's wishes) . The customer support/ satisfaction team is a huge plus - they are responsive and always find a solution to ensure we get the most out of the product. **What do you dislike about Athennian?** Some of the fields are not relevant to our business, however, this not inhibit our daily use. Some pages can be customized to streamline the information, which is appreciated. **What problems is Athennian solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our data is now stored in one place rather across multiple locations. Teams can access up-to-date and accurate data easily, saving time and resources. The tasks and reminder features assist with managing deadlines, again freeing up time. ### 3. Finally - A Cohesive Corporate Management System **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Robin D. | Sr. Corporate Law Clerk, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2023 **What do you like best about Athennian?** The best part about Athennian is that it is a unified corporate management interface with various built-in tools that provide legal professionals opportunities to (i) easily maintain various legal entities, (ii) provide high-level summaries of principals and (iii) at a glance determine compliance requirements. **What do you dislike about Athennian?** One suggestion for significant improvement is providing a library of basic coded legal documents; many of Athennian's competitors (eg Do Process Fast Company, Corplink and many more) provide a set of basic/standard coded legal documents (for initial formation (OBCA, CNCA, ONCA & CNCA), annual resolutions, change of directors/officers, shareholders, tradenames & basic dividends) at no further charge. The lack of these coded documents is frustrating; Athennian touts itself as a comprehensive software with a centralised interface, and including standard coded legal documents (to be generated from Athennnian) would make the transition to Athennian much easier guaranteeing productivity from the onset. **What problems is Athennian solving and how is that benefiting you?** From my perspective, Athennian is not solving any problems but merely assisting with the standard task of corporate maintenance; primary benefits are (i) the highlevel summary when you enter into a corporate record and (ii) the various forms of minute books/records that can be generated. ### 5. I guess I can appreciate its easy access, but still unusable and couldn't access or do any work when experiencing network issues. **What do you dislike about Athennian?** Document Production doesn't seem to work properly. Work now takes longer and is often duplicated because of Tasks. Calendars all appear to function differently (i.e. some can be typed in, others cannot). **What problems is Athennian solving and how is that benefiting you?** Unfortunately for me, it hasn't been overly beneficial or solved any issues and has instead just created many more problems and increased the time is takes to complete work tasks. ### 10. Features such as changing a director over multiple entities, creating documents to effect the change of directors, and even creating new entities in the system are easy to figure out and perform. I find that the program is very straightforward to figure out and, should one have any issues or make a mistake - super easy to fix!! I have worked with other programs, and this one is the BEST!!! They make me look like a superstar! **What do you dislike about Athennian?** Nothing - if anything doesn't work correctly, or we think it would work better performing a different way, we can always reach out to Athennian with our issues and ideas. They are very receptive to user changes and fixing user problems! **Recommendations to others considering Athennian:** I've worked with other systems - Alf, EnAct, Englobe and Monicord. This system is easily the most user-friendly and intuitive program I have ever used. I would recommend people to look and switch to Athennian! **What problems is Athennian solving and how is that benefiting you?** We recently brought our minute books in-house to save on costs to external law firms. Athennian has made the transition really smooth and has made it easy for my co-workers to get the information they require at their fingertips. Our ability to get information and documents prepared for transactions in an efficient manner, instead of the lag time between providing external counsel instructions, has not only saved us money, but I can perform other tasks during the workday instead of being tied down to transactional items. ### 12. For example "Universal Registered Agents, Inc." we use as registered office for ALL of our domestic Delaware entities.
