ANSYS Maxwell

4.0
(2)

ANSYS Maxwell is the industry-leading electromagnetic field simulation software for the design and analysis of electric motors, actuators, sensors, transformers and other electromagnetic and electromechanical devices. With Maxwell, you can precisely characterize the nonlinear, transient motion of electromechanical components and their effects on the drive circuit and control system design. By leveraging Maxwell’s advanced electromagnetic field solvers and seamlessly linking them to the integrated circuit and systems simulation technology, you can understand the performance of electromechanical systems long before building a prototype in hardware.

"Personally most recommended software for low frequency EM field simulation."

What do you like best?

The best thing that I like about this software is the functionality and it also has a wonderful UI. The software also gives us a very important advantage in this competitive world and in this particular field with affordable costs, fast run time and also with incredible improvement in the performance of the system.

What do you dislike?

I haven't faced any problems yet which can become one of the point that I don't like about this software. So currently there is nothing that I don't like about this software.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you want a solver or a software which can help you with most of your maxwell related problems then I would personally recommend this software. Best will be if you try it for yourself and see how it works out for you or a particular individual.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have used this software for designing and analyzing the electric motors, transformers, sensors, actuators. Also used to different electromagnetic concepts analysis and also for designing of such devices.
