It's been an amazing experience, I use AWS almost everyday, all the microservices that I work upon have are deployed on AWS k8s, use of Kinesis, Lambda, S3, Cloudformation, cloudwatch.

I passed my AWS Practitioner exam first time and I have this course to thank for that. My advice is do the extra reading in the resources sections and look around the AWS site for the Labs and do all of the Free Tier ones (the others will cost you something, so delete immediately after completing... also practice pricing by working out how much before hand)

Amazon AWS is ABSOLUTE TRASH!! they are clearly abusing their dominant position and fail to provide any service, they just take your money and don't care. All other - smaller - players are so much better. AVOID AT ALL COST Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Amazon S3 has provided us a very simple way to communicate between APIs which are cross functional. Meaning, if there are APIs in the upstream wants to send some data to downstream APIs, it can be done very easily with very less coding required. And the data can be processed accordingly. The fact that the files uploaded into scality are removed after 15 days in some of the packages offered by Amazon. And there is no way to retrieve those. So if your work requires you to keep data for longer durations for auditing purpose, it is of no use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Overall experience using AWS is excellent. AWS helps us to run seamlessly web applications and provide great business services. It provides a good level of security and data privacy which could be a bit harder to implement when implemented by self. Also, the fact that it takes just a few minutes process to run a VM and get your products deployed and ready for use. In AWS you can find almost everything, so one doesn't need to go to any other server to get things done. The tutorial videos provided are informative and easy to follow. There is nothing major, but I find the documentation to be a little bit intimidating and it might get a lot technical. For better usability, one has to have a strong knowledge of it. I think the scalability and control of what we can do and how quickly we can do with AWS is highly appreciatable. We have migrated data from Teradata to Snowflake using AWS as medium. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes the services take very long to load & there are unlimited possibilities of things and UI can be improved a lot. Also it requires a lot of services to be used together a lot of times. I hate the part where they don't show all the resources in use from all the regions so we need to switch the region just to check the items one by one leading to high bills.
