My most favored feature of Amazon S3 is that files of any format can be uploaded to S3. At ZS, I, as a part of the Product team, utilize Amazon S3 to primarily store large CSV files which are used for testing our products hosted on AWS and made available using Amazon Sagemaker Notebook Instances. We have recently started extending in-tool support for other file formats like ORC and Parquet to enable faster data processing, and Amazon S3 supports us amazingly well by providing support to store files in these formats too! As of now the Product tea at ZS utilized a separate software named Cloudberry to transfer the files from the individual local system to Amazon S3 and vice versa.
